This was a stay in a beautiful art deco style villa dated 1907. Once inside the boutique hotel, we entered a warm haven of a gold and brown coloured interior, and were heartily welcomed by the lady at the reception. She offered us a coffee, while she finished cleaning our room, as to allow us an early check-in. The hotel manager helped us with bringing up the luggage to our room. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and with all comfort to feel “home away from home”. The breakfast was very good, with a wide range of homemade goodies. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Not applicable to us. All was perfect. Maybe if you are less mobile, the stairs that lead up to the house and the hilly location might be a problem for you.

Breakfast: 10/10. Lavish breakfast buffet + eggs in your preferred style. Room: 10/10. Comfortable bed, wide work desk, free drinks, clean wardrobe, safe with number lock. Location: 10/10. Close to downtown Eisenach and also only 1 hour walking distance from Wartburg (castle). Staff: 10/10. Provided great help in spite of not all of them knowing English. They provided me with a physical map and marked the route to Wartburg for my hike (I prefer the physical map to Google maps).

Bathroom: 5/10. The handheld shower's plastic (or rubber?) head had "fibres" sticking out which I thought were hair at first but the staff assured me that it was just plastic; in any case, that made me a very uncomfortable. Please consider switching to metallic shower heads. Elevator: 0/10. No elevator.

- Very spacious room and really big, comfy bed. - Nice view looking over the Eisenach forests and seeing the Burschenschaftsdenkmal on the hill. - Breakfast was adequate for a few nights stay and own ability to make freshly squeezed orange juice, plus requesting how you’d like your eggs cooked :) - Only 15-20mins by foot into the old town to grab a Thüringer Bratwurst. For dinners, only 10mins drive to a few local, well known restaurants in the city.

breakfast is excellent. You get different sort of cheese, salmon, different sort of sausages and eggs like you wish. Müsli and fresh fruits as well as fresh orange juice. You get different softdrinks for free the minibar is filled for free use

The bathroom was a bit unusual. But at the end functional. Everything else was perfect.

Breakfast was great, room was beautiful with a view below. Facility is very clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

Language barrier (hard to communicate with proprietor due to no English). There is no elevator (many stairs to carry luggage). Parking is in the street only and quite limited.

No elevator. Had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with suitcases. Not advisable for seniors. Small bar. No restaurant.

Great location in the green area and beautiful views , close to the Wartburg castle & city centre ; we loved the way up to the hotel , even in the dark the path was well lit !

Perhaps the hotel pillows could be of a better quality stuffed with a natural filling

Beautifully renovated small hotel - great views and a delicious breakfast! Very accommodating and put our 2 rooms right next to each other. Lots of space in the rooms!

Parking was a little tight. Because it is so high up on a hill, walking somewhere was tough when we came back!

Very peaceful stay. The room is huge, beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel is located in a beautiful place on the top of a hill. Everything is perfectly clean.
