Great location in the town. Near to restaurants, bus drop off/pick up. Beachfront. Comfortable rooms and great palapa on the roof to relax, have drinks or eat. Breakfast included in price. I was there 5 days and never had the same breakfast. I preordered dinner a few nights which was delicious and reasonably priced. Filtered water available. Super friendly Spanish-speaking hosts.

Bring plenty of insect repellant. WiFi could be better. I’d recommend option for regular cleaning of rooms. A lot of sand gets tracked in after a few days.

Great location very convenient for the restaurants in town, and the bus. The owners are so kind and helpful, just a shame we don’t speak very good Spanish! But we managed to communicate with each other. The breakfast was very good, we had dinner once and it was very tasty. Xcalak is a lovely peaceful place and this was a perfect base. We extended our stay by one night and would have liked to stay longer.

The wifi was quite weak but I think this is an issue throughout Xcalak due to its remote location.

We went to fly fish and this is directly across from where the boat picked us up. Just around the corner less than 2 minutes away is the best place to eat, Carnitas so getting dinner and a beer was super convenient. You could also order meals from the owner and he prepared. The breakfast was delicous. The room was very clean and decorated nicely with great art effects.

This place has no AC, which would be fine IF there was cross ventalation. Only 1 very small window in entire room and small fan. There was a breeze each night but no way to enjoy it. The rooms are hot and very stuffy by night....so beware. No AC is no problem if you have access to the breeze and cross ventalation. These rooms did not have that.

The attention of the hosts was wonderful! The rooms are right in front of the sea and there is a lovely terrace upstairs to enjoy breakfast and sunrise in Xcalak!

Right on the beach, could hear the ocean at night. Good location in town and the lady taking care of the lodge was amazing, super helpful.

There was hot water, but only after the boiler was turned on by the staff. After that, took aprox an hour.

Very clean, Carolina is the nicest host ever!

Quite expensive for a simple room with a small bed.
