The room was really good: nice beds (2 Queen), bathroom good.. The breakfast was not the poshest, but was excellent value. The Lemon-infused ice water in the lobby was a really nice and thoughtful touch in hot weather!. I'm not big on spa-like "amenities", so my experience is solely in the comfort of the room and stay. I'm happy. Remember, I'm not comparing this to a multi-hundred dollar per night establishment. I'd say that this place is right near the top of comparably priced places.

The first time getting into the parking lot from the wrong direction on a divided (Hillandale) street was a little confusing and disconcerting, but after the first time, was not a problem.

i have been staying there since my daughter is at Duke University and i have always been very pleased with my stay there. only disappointed when i went to book my stay there in May for my daughters graduation and your rates were so high you pushed me to stay at another Hotel which I paid half the rate. I asked when i checked out this last time and the rates were still so high. If I could get the same rate as what hotels around you are charging I would have re booked with you again for May.

Sometimes we smell that Pot smell, which I know you all can't control but sometimes it is very strong.

Beds were very comfortable, room was very spacious and bathroom was nice and clean.

There was a bit of a damp smell in the room.

The property has been completely renovated. It's clean, quiet and safe. The bathroom and shower along with the towels are better than I would have expected. This is a breakfast that all hotels should follow I come back to Duke for medical reasons a few times a year and this is only a few minutes away

As someone who was paid to find faults with businesses I honestly can't find any that matters

We were there to visit a brother who is in the ICU at Duke Medical Hospital, so the location was ideal. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds.

The pool was closed and the shower has designed where you got wet with cold water before you could adjust the temperature brrrr.

The curtain to block sunlight wasn’t designed to cover any part of the window in our room (maybe only 2 inches of window area is covered) And there was this bright lamp post right outside which the light is on the entire night. So we felt that we are sleeping with the sun outside.

i was wanting to ask i paid for 2nights and bought the insurance in case we left early , our son coachs girls softball and they were playing in the state championship. They won and we left around 430 sat afternoon i turned my keys in to the desk am i eligable for a refund for the second night.

The staff and the management wanted to make sure everything is well, they were very friendly, respectful and courteous which I don't see much now a days in the service industry. I had an issue with the bath tub water clogging and as soon as I informed the front desk they sent the maintenance person and fixed it within minutes, I was impressed, Initially even though I got frustrated and wanted to ask for another room, because of their friendly and fast service I was very happy. The room was clean, very spacious and comfortable. No noise or disturbance.

Complimentary breakfast could have been better, they didn't really have many items, I just ended up just getting a coffee and left. Was not very happy about it.

I travel a lot for work since I am a private security contractor in North Carolina and I've been to many hotels, many of these hotels offer the same amenities that the comfort inn & suites near Duke University in Durham offered but do not execute it as well. The room was sizable and immaculate, the free continental breakfast was pristine hot and very filling, which was perfect for me since I left the hotel and went straight to my job site. The bed was comfortable and clean and the shower was so nice and piping hot! I also accidentally left my ID badge for work in the room along with a charger for my phone but the hotel staff were quick to call my phone number and hold them aside at the lobby desk for me to come pick up. Great staff great stay great hotel!

The bed was so comfortable I almost slept through my alarms, which trust me is not a complaint!

Classic business type hotel. Clean and comfy, albeit maybe a little expensive. Breakfast has waffles/eggs/sausage/fruits/yogurt.

Reaching the highway the next morning was a bit odd due to the road forcing you to go away from the highway when you get out of the parking lot.
