Finally a hostel in Thailand that has some private rooms. We had a great time here and Title (the young man who is in charge) was super helpful, kind, friendly and speaks outstanding English! The entire place was super clean, and the open area lovely and a great way to meet other guests. I love that there is a kitchen where you can prepare basic meals.

It states that there is a kitchen, and whilst there are pots, pans and cooking utensils, there is no stove. If the kitchen area is unavailable for cooking, it should be made clear in the listing. Although I made do, it's one of the reasons I chose it. Our first night was in Room 301, a double with private bathroom. The mattress, whilst not overly uncomfortable, dips in the middle and so we kept rolling into each other. The next morning we moved into Room 302 next door ... much better! No mosquito nets in room. We have our own ... a life saver if you want some oxygen whilst not getting bitten.

Good location, near night food court, train and bus station. Comfortable and clean bed. Polite staff. Small kitchen...

Near the shoes wreck it's better to stand a bench instead of the two design chairs... And it would be perfect if there was a ventilation system in the dormitory room to avoid unsavory odours... Someone came to the room at night and sprayed an aroma spray from the toilet. And that was smell for all the night))...

Comfortable, cool, chic, relaxed, clean, quiet, good showers, kitchenette, lounge/dining area, free tea coffee etc, good location (ten minutes walk to station, markets) welcoming reception, very white cotton bed linen, solid built bunks, good mattress Udon Thani is surprisingly nice. some nice parks and traffic a bit quieter. Big market near the station and street of bars etc for tourists.

(not important to me but) breakfast was just a loaf of bread and jam in the fridge (plus tea and coffee of course).

Good location near UD Food Center where you can spend 1 week to find out Thai food :)) Kea - the person who manages all at the hostel is very kind and helpful. I lost my passport and she helped me a lot and took care of me. The living room where people share the atmosphere is great to work or just seat down and talk together. Everything seems perfect at La Malila and Kea tells me that Malila is jasmine in Thai language :)))

Very well designed, with nice private double room. Staff went above and beyond to help with our queries (not all relating to our stay in Udon Thani, but about Thailand travelling in general). Location is a very short walk to the train station and food market.

If you want to walk to a restaurant that is not a market, or on Samphan Thamit Alley (we’d recommend avoiding this street as its very seedy) - you might be better to jump in a cab.

The Hostel is located close to the Bus and Train Station which makes it very convenient. It’s also less than a 5 min walk from several night markets. The Hostel itself is very calm and welcoming. We had only a short stay but were very happy with our private room. Thank you!

Some might not find the mattress very comfortable, it has metal springs. For a short stay it didn’t bother us.

The staff is excellent and welcoming. The rooms, toilets and showers are in perfect condition, hot water and always clean. The hall is nice and comfy. Walking distance to the night market, bus station, train station.

It is near the train station and UD town which is super convenience for solo traveller like me. I love the decoration of the hotel, full of authentic Isan style. They have automatic key card and free tea and coffee. Will stay here again next time. Anw, room is small which is comfortable for one guest

Very clean, quiet and modern. The beds are really big and private. There's a 24 hour kitchen with free coffee and toast. The staff are lovely.

It was very empty. Perfect if you like a private stay but not so much if you like to chat and meet people.

Well organized place. Cozy lounge area to have complimentary coffee in. Rooms are small with not much more than a bed, but that is ok for a short stay budget option.

Wifi was wonky sometimes.
