Banbua Grand Udon Hotel so far was one of the best hotel in Udon Thani. The location is a win-win it's nearby the Bus station, Central Plaza and few meter walk to UD-Down night market also when you wanted to visit Bangkok Hospital for check up it's just a corner away. Me and my Husband visited Udon Thani for our wedding honeymoon and stayed in this hotel. We are truly exceptional satisfied with the services! They have pleasing, great and respectful staffs, good breakfast, neat, tidy, and spacious room! What's more great is that they have a pool to relax when you ever want to dip in! We stayed two nights in this hotel. The rooms were well appointed with incredibly comfy beds - my son described them as marshmallow beds! The bathroom had all the necessary items and the shower had both rain shower and handheld options. The location is next to some lady bars which didn’t close until 3am but the soundproofing meant we could hardly hear them. There are also some pleasant restaurants within a couple of hundred metres and a night market a short walk away. Staff at reception and the concierge were friendly and helpful.

My only criticism was that the wifi wasn’t great and I ended up using my portable hotspot for my laptop.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Banbua Grand Hotel , the room was huge including a large kitchen and dinning area with a hob & fridge also a dinning table and chairs & a sofa with more than enjoy room for all the mentioned items the Bed was large and comfortable the balcony was of a decent sized and included a table and two chairs the bathroom and shower were fine and both of a good size . The restaurant was Fabulous for both breakfast and lunch with a wide variety of Foods and drinks for selection , Hotel had a fine swimmer pool and the Staff were 1st rate Helpful & Friendly I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel what a wonderful stay we had we will be back

A very nice hotel, clean and very comfortable beds/pillows. The staff is always very polite and accommodating. If you have not been to the "Brick House" on the same street just down the road, go. A minute walk to the restaurant/bar for westerner food is my favorite. The hotel breakfast is also always good.

The hotel used to provide tooth past and brushes but my last 2 visits were not in the room. When I asked the front desk about this since we weren't planning on staying the night, they provided brushes and paste free of cost. I have stayed in may hotels in Thailand and see the price for this one is a bit high for the accommodations. It is still my choice in this area of Udon Thani. Has a small balcony but many do not have one at all. Just saying.

central location, close to area bars and nightlife. it's one of the high end hotels (yet very affordable) in the area. Staff are polite and always ready to help. Room is in good size. Facilities in good conditions. Very safe. Many eat/party options.

Minor issues: we came as a couple, upon check in, we got a room with two single beds, and I was too tired to go to change the room, but didn't understand why. Another issue is that the mattress is on the softer side and I personally prefer a harder mattress.

Stayed Jan 14-17 2024. The room is big and clean and the bed is comfortable. The staff at reception is polite and friendly and is fluent in English so no issue in asking for direction, places to eat. WiFi is good and shower water pressure is strong. Hotel has a coffee house and they have a happy hour from 3-5 pm. The hotel is a standout along the street of bars (organised and well behaved) and there is a DIY laundry and 2 massage parlours along the street. Central Plaza shopping mall is about 8 minutes walk away and the bus terminal is across the road from Central Plaza (another 5 minutes). The train station is about 10 minutes away on food. Next to the train station are - night stalls, food court, restaurants and a supermarket

Our room faces the back of a market and bazaar. Can hear the noise from there in the evening.

Location is excellent.Rooms/bed spacious and comfortable. Staff helpful and smiling. Pool could use a few more lounges, but then there's not a lot of room. Pool attendant/bartender makes lovely drinks and the food served npoolside was quite nice. Breakfast buffet was good - the cook on station makes a lovely omelet and there's a decent variety of all else. Loved the espresso machine in the room, once I figured it out with the help of a staff member when we called the front desk.

Not much. My wife's only complaint was that the parking was mostly uncovered and the sun hot

First time in this hotel, but already visited this area several times: Nice location, some minimal noise from the area. Short walk to shopping center and evening market. Parking space in good shape. Good WIFI. Good room facilities, nice bed, good working airco. Small balcony. Average breakfast in cramped breakfast room.

1-The breakfast restaurant has space issues. The tables for couples are too large and this makes that it's not easy to pass other persons walking around with their plates. At 8.15 in the morning a lot of the breakfast food was already gone and did not seem to be topped up. No so logical placing of the (single) coffee machine gave a long cue and issues for others to get to the bread. Next time we are going to skip breakfast here. 2- Multiple mosquitos in the bed room, hard to kill them, but they got us during the night..... Not sure if we would stay here again. We are visiting this area a couple times a year and have other options nearby.

Being fairly new everything was clean and working. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room a good size and the coffee shop was excellent with good food and drink available

The room dividing walls must be rather thin. I was unfortunate to be in the next room to a couple who were talking constantly until 4am in the morning. Although you could not understand what they said the noise was sufficiently loud to disturb my sleep.

Have stayed in many hotels in Thailand in the 10 years we have been living here. I think that this hotel ranks at the top of my list! Most of the time we find the breakfast are cold but here they leave the hot plates on! There is a rain shower and unlike other places the water pressure is very good. Also the water was still hot at 1am.

The only thing that we would like to see are some fans to cover the outside seats around the bar area.
