⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Stay at Villa Masetta The hotel arranged a private taxi to collect us from the airport, making our journey to Mondello completely seamless. From the moment we arrived at Villa Masetta, we knew we had found a real gem. The hotel was right on the beach with instant access to the turquoise waters—an absolute dream. Our views of the sea and mountain range from our rooms balcony and the roof top terrace was absolutely breathtaking. The location couldn’t be better, with an incredible dessert bar just next door (dangerously good cannoli and gelato!) and everything you might need within easy walking distance. But what truly sets Villa Masetta apart was the people. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, comfortable, and genuinely special throughout our stay. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of luxury, warmth, and heartfelt hospitality. Villa Masetta isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to return!

That we couldn’t stay for longer!

Everything! The enclosed gated property was very lovely and felt like a peaceful oasis, with parking at the back of property. Cars were secure, but out of sight. The location was the best! We had a view of the beach and seaside promenade across the street and could hear the water when the windows were open. The rooftop terrace had spectacular views all around and was yet another area to sit and relax. The stroll to the central part of town was easy and took just a few minutes. The service was amazing - the owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. Everything was super clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and linens were high quality and crisp. Breakfast was in a separate small building near the huge, beautiful pool. The food was delicious and plentiful. The attendant would make coffee and eggs to order. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Breakfast was excellent.location good as it was right by the beach, unfortunately Mondello suffers from yongsters driving very fast along the road the villa is on with very load music playing from open car windows. One night at 1.30 in the morning a group of youngsters were gathered outside the villa playing loud music. Mondello could be beautiful but the council and police need to bring in noise and behaviour controls

The villa itself was superb

Absolutely immaculate, attention to detail is exceptional, incredible grounds with a jaw dropping shaped swimming pool. Breakfast amazing. The staff / owners, could not be more hospitable. You could not get a better location across the road from a beautiful sandy beach. If we return this will be our destination of choice.

There is nothing we disliked, however to offer constructive critique, the cost is comparable to a high end Hotel, so with that in mind the room lacked a wardrobe, just a hanging rail, the shared balcony is a little hit and miss who you share with (we are non smokers). The air-conditioning was a little noisy and didn’t seem that effective, maybe operator error. No daytime service around the magnificent pool, drinks snacks etc.

Breakfast had fresh products, very good. The hosts were really nice and helpful, especially the day when it was flooded in front of the villa, they helped us get out with their car (thank you so much). They also recommended a few restaurants nearby which were really good. Room rate is a little bit high, but the service is high quality, the rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, very clean. Our family felt like home here. Our son really liked the garden and the little turtles and mushrooms decorations there. The weather wasn't great the days we were there, but we were still able to enjoy the swimming pool and the beautiful beach with our family. We will definitely come back again and pick a better season. :) Our stay was perfect. I would recommend for families to come during high peak season to enjoy the beach.

The property was absolutely beautiful. It was modern, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was delicious every morning (they even had oatmilk substitute!). The pool was always a calm place to read or nap. The villa was so close to the private beach/delicious restaurants. Villa Masetta will go out of their way to recommend and reserve restaurants in the area which were the best meals we have ever had. The family who owns Villa Masetta are so wonderful and sweet.

Villa Masetta is a small and fantastically well maintained family run hotel. The pool and quiet well manicured grounds are a lovely and tranquil haven right on the bustling and busy Mondello seafront. The staff are incredibly helpful, happy to make restaurant reservations, arrange travel, and patiently offer advice and guidance. The pool is squeaky clean, and the rooms are well appointed, if a little compact.

We recently arrived home from a 2 week stay in Sicily, ending with 6 nights at Villa Masetta. The Villa is absolutely beautiful and the owners were exceptional; they couldn't do enough for us. Breakfasts were lovely, the property is immaculate, the pool even prettier than pictured, and the location was perfect-across the street from the beach and close to many wonderful restaurants. They welcomed us like family to their "home" and made a wonderful trip even better than we could have hoped. Can't recommend it enough - you won't be disappointed.

Honestly everything! Firstly the staff, Giulia, Claudia, their mum and Greta were all incredible. They went over an above for us and spent time getting to know my husband and I. I’ve never been treated so well in a hotel before! They gave us great recommendations for eating and even helped us sign up spontaneously for the half marathon that started out the front of the hotel. Secondly the accommodation, the rooms were beautiful, the detail in the bathroom products was spot on, the breakfast hall was welcoming and we loved eating outside on the warmer mornings Thirdly, the location, Villa Masetta was located bang on where you want to be in Mondello. Right on the beach, very short walk to restaurants and a great ice cream shop next door. We felt safe and enjoyed every moment with Villa Masetta. We hope to come back one day!
