Clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selection. The pool was out of commission for repairs which we didn’t care much about but for families with children this might be an issue. It was near train tracks so there was an occasional train passing. Road leading to the property and over the tracks was very rough.

The pool was very nice, which was helpful to us b/c I traveled with my son, who is a child. It was larger than most hotel pools, got to be five feet deep (which is great), and the saltwater was nice.

The only thing I'd change (other than the price, but this isn't the hotel's fault necessarily; clean hotels have really gone up since the pandemic took effect in 2020), is that we came specifically for Groundhog Day (Punxsutawney is 30-40 mins. away) and there was no breakfast for us (served 6 AM-9 AM at the hotel). Most other hotels in the area do a special early breakfast for Groundhog Day (earlier than 6 AM), which would be appreciated, especially b/c part of the deal package was for breakfast and February 2nd is literally once a year. I'd like to see this happen for a re-booking, or possibly even them wave the breakfast fee for a G-Hog Day stay if that isn't possible.

The staff was great. I booked on booking.com and paid fully, but the payment information got messed up between booking.com and the hotel. The staff were very helpful in helping me sort it out even though it wasn't their fault. I booked this hotel because they're pet friendly, but I was worried about travelling with my dog because I'd never done it before. I shouldn't have been worried; the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and understanding. I have to drive back through that area in a few weeks and I'm planning to stay there again. Also, the complimentary breakfast was very good.

My only complaint would be that the pillows were too soft, but I also like a very firm pillow, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like. Just would have loved to have had more coffee creamer and sugar or sugar supplements inside the room

The staff the cleanliness the beds were comfortable the breakfast was top notch hot and filled. we gave the woman a tip. should have a tip jar there. she worked really hard to keep it all stocked and hot

the neighbors were loud til like midnight the pool was cold hot tub wasn't working

The breakfast was fine; everything was well prepared, but another vegetable selection to go with the eggs and sausage would have been great, like sautéed mushrooms or green peppers.

There wasn’t a freezer in the mini fridge in the room, but that wasn’t a big issue.

It was conveniently located.

The pullout couch was stained and the mattress and sheets were dirty. It had crumbs and visible dirt inside of it. I asked for bedding for the pullout and the worker was questioning my needs and said she was running low on pillows.

The breakfast was very good. Location was convenient. The price was within our budget. Room was very clean and very spacious. The staff was very friendly.

The bed pillows were quite flat. The lighting in the parking lot at night is very poor. Some more brighter lighting would be better. Current lighting could be unsafe.

The beds are super comfy and the breakfast was pretty decent for this type of hotel. The location is perfect if you're traveling and need a place to stay right off the highway. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

The only downer was the elevator was broken and my room was on the 2nd floor. Normally I wouldn't care because I usually take the steps— however, I just flew international, was awake for 22 hrs, and my suitcase weighed 50+ lbs. I asked to switch to the 1st floor, but nothing was available. Bummer!

We decided to go see the elk.and chose this location because it was only a 40 min drive.dont listen reviews it just makes u worry so here i go 1 great staff 2 great breaksfast was weekend so had eggs sausage potatoes 3 kitchen lady was very nice and polite but at the same time extremely busy.very positive attitude 4 hot tub broken ok no big deal 5 pool well kids had a blast 6 AC worked great and so did heat 7 WOULD STAY AGAIN
