This place is amazing, I had high hopes from seeing the photos but the reality was even better still. From the moment you arrive, it feels welcoming. The entire place is clean, fresh, beautifully decorated and maintained exceptionally well. I had a single room (room 3) and it was fabulous, the attention to detail was wonderful. I had everything I needed and more in the room. Breakfast was brilliant and fantastic value for money. The bedding was luxurious, and the bed very very comfortable, it really was hard to get out ha ha!! The shower was better than mine at home! The owners were away for the weekend and the 2 ladies who were running it were so warm welcoming and really lovely!! I had forgotten a charger and mentioned that, and one was swiftly delivered to my room to borrow as it was the ladies own personal one. Honestly so pleased to have found this little gem. Do book, you will not be disappointed!!

Beautiful house, well maintained. Lovely big bedroom. Friendly hosts. Nice towels and linen. Small fridge, which is handy. Smart T.V. Very well equipped and furnished. Could do with a little dressing table with mirror. I had to stand at the mirror to dry my hair and do make-up and was worried about dropping make-up on the carpet. Good location.

Very small bathroom. Difficult to get into if someone is standing at the sink. Water kept going into drawer beneath sink so everything kept getting wet. Could do with a shelf above the sink to put stuff on. Needs a shelf or basket in the shower as it’s quite small so when you bend down to get the shampoo or shower gel, you hit your head on the glass. Shower doors don’t meet properly.

The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Good quality bed and bed linen.

I was irritated to find that there was an extra charge for breakfast because we had booked with booking.com. £10 per person per day is an unpleasant surprise and certainly adds to the cost.

A beautiful room, very comfy bed and a great bath and shower. Lovely crockery in the room with breakfast brought to you. The whole house was very tastefully decorated.

Sadly because I had booked through booking.com there would have been an extra £10.00 per person per morning for breakfast. I was very disappointed with this as I couldn't see any indication of that at time of booking or confirmation. The parking is on the road outside the house and depending on the time of day I think that could be challenging. People who work in Tavistock use this area for parking so after 5pm may be easier. I arrived at 4pm and found a space a short walk away from the house.

Didnt realise that breakfast was not included and cost £10 per person per night , only served in your room. No cooked breakfast available. Room was classed as de luxe but bathroom is private but not en suite, across landing. Room was on top floor up many steps which was not a problem for us but may be for others.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived and left. We only stayed last minute overnight and didn't breakfast but the room was cosy and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts provided tea and coffee making facilities, milk and biscuits, and a small fridge, which was useful. The en-suite was very clean and the shower great, fresh, soft towels and toiletries were all good. There was a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board, very well provisioned.

Beautiful bedroom, very clean and lovely decor. Bathroom was also very clean and quite spacious. Fab location, close to the town but still provided parking which was very convenient. Bed itself was very comfortable and shower was pretty good!

Would of preferred a dining area for breakfast as I am personally not a fan of eating in your sleeping area but I can understand the B&B is also the owners home and do need their own family space. The breakfast choice wasn’t amazing to be honest, me and my partner chose to go into the town for breakfast every morning. Although the owners have a very cute little dog, her barking woke us up every morning.

Location was perfect. Very close to Tavistock Wharf for music events. Only a short walk to the shops, cafes etc. Very quiet & peaceful. Great 2 nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. The staff I came in to contact with all friendly, helpful, welcoming & professional.

No cooked breakfast (my personal preference & I knew this before I booked). No fridge in the room to store perishable foods.

Breakfast was served in our room which was lovely ,we had the deluxe room at the top of the house , with a view overlooking the park ,the free parking on the road outside the b and b was a bonus

Nothing could have been better ,everything about our stay ,the room ,the lovely welcome and friendliness of Andy and Jayne was lovely

The room was airy, there was plenty of storage space, the bed was comfortable and it was nice to be served breakfast in our room - we would definitely stay there again

Only comment (not necessarily a reflection on the property) is that when I book a B&B, I expect breakfast to be included in the cost. However, when we filled out the breakfast sheet, we saw that guests who booked through Booking.com had to pay £10 each for breakfast
