We and my mom visited Jakarta and we immediately had a very warm welcome by the hotel reception. Everything is perfectly clean, the hotel smells great! All the facilities are beautiful and seem completely new. Mr. Adin helped us find a certain shop we were looking for, Mr. Robin was incredibly sweet, helpful and talkative to us! He also booked a massage for us, which we enjoyed a lot. The girl that did the check in was amazing as well, she told us everything we need to know about the hotel facilities. I think her name was Cshirleen? She was great. Overall, if you are still in doubt for looking a hotel in Jakarta, look no further!! I will definitely come back again.

We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel’s bold and original design immediately caught our attention — it’s full of character, with stunning paintings, graphics, and intricate details everywhere. Some might find the ambiance a bit dark, but we absolutely loved the atmospheric and artistic feel. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and plush pillows that you just sink into — though we personally prefer firmer ones, it was still great! The entire hotel is immaculately clean, and there’s a pleasant, subtle aroma throughout the space. We enjoyed exploring the hotel’s facilities, starting with a visit to the rooftop bar upon arrival. But what truly stood out for us was the well-equipped gym and the spacious library. The breakfast was exceptional. The buffet had a fantastic selection of dishes, from dim sum to sushi, and there was also an à la carte menu with additional options. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff — from the friendly porter who greeted us at the entrance to the reception and restaurant teams, everyone was professional and welcoming. If we find ourselves in Jakarta again, we will definitely stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Orient Jakarta, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel boasts stylish and modern interiors that immediately caught my eye upon arrival. The design is both chic and comfortable, providing a visually pleasing yet relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pools, gym and spa facilities were incredible. The staff were excellent throughout my stay, offering top-notch service with a friendly and professional attitude. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any request truly enhanced my experience. The location of The Orient Jakarta is brilliant, perfectly situated to offer a welcome retreat from the frantic pace of the city. Despite being centrally located, the hotel provides a peaceful sanctuary where one can unwind and relax after a busy day. Overall, my stay at The Orient Jakarta was nothing short of great. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish and modern place to stay with excellent staff and a prime location.

The breakfast was outstanding with a fantastic choice, beautifully presented and the bed was delightful. The design of this place is gorgeous with amazing design features around the hotel and in the guest rooms. The staff were great.

The lunch and dinner menu was rarely completely available, so I was forced to order from a very small selection and the meal preparation was very slow. I had to wait over 40 minutes to be served. The food was great when it arrived. Staff responded to issues extremely well but rarely foresaw problems or chose to keep me up to date. Be prepared to go into the City to eat dinner if you need a wide choice and fast service.

The design and the food at the restaurant is so good! Great coffee and beautiful restaurant. The room is clean and the bed is super comfortable. Staff are hit and miss. Some are friendly and some looks at you like you don’t belong in the hotel. They constantly asking your name and room number so that’s kinda annoying. They granted request for an hour late check out which was appreciated.

Location is bit far away from everything. Unfortunately I was also unable to check out all the hotel room facilities ( library ) because there was an event. It’s unfortunate for a paying guest not able to use all the facilities and a little bit unfair to be honest. The spa is not ready so u need to go somewhere else to get spa treatments

The decor, ambiance, and staff here are top-notch. The staff went above-and-beyond for us on our first night when I left a bag in a taxi (ended up recovering it, thanks to them). The rooftop bar/restaurant is amazing. The food is above average.

The one complaint I have is that the restaurant/bar didn't actually have 50% of the menu items available. We tried to order 5 different dishes from the tapas restaurant, and they were all unavailable. Then we looked at the whiskey menu they gave us, and they were out of the first 3 things we tried to order from that too. Menus were also only digital, which was not ideal (imo).

1/ Stunning swimming pool /5th floor/, rooftop café /café, swimming pool, cozy chairs/, library, and reception hall. 2/ Complementary soft drinks in the room /6 soft drinks and 2 beers/, complimentary juice and alcoholic drinks in the rooftop café. 3/ Nice buffet with choices a la carte from the menu during breakfast. 4/ Availability of taxis near the entrance of the hotel /Taxi rate from the hotel to the airport was around 150 Indonesian currency/ 5/ Shampoo, body wash gel, and lotion were good quality 6/ Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I am a big fan of boutique hotels and this one exceeded my expectations! Beautifully designed, with elegant and eclectic touches—all the little details added up to a very special experience! The soft, comfy beds were hands down some of the best we have ever experienced in a hotel! Breakfast each morning was a choice between a beautiful buffet with a wide variety of food or a selection from an excellent menu—everyone in my family was thrilled with the options! The staff went above and beyond during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The concierge arranged same-day massage appointments at a wonderful place; and also arranged an excellent tour guide and driver for us. The pool area and amenities are brilliant! A million thanks to the entire team at Orient Jakarta for making us feel so welcomed and at home! We would stay there again in a minute!

Most beautifully design hotel I had been to . Fantastic, very helpful staff (thank you Angelique , Monika and Randy just to name a few ). Beautiful room with great view, very good beds. Great two outside pools and super cool terrace on the rooftop. Very good choice of kitchens for breakfast . It was my fathers bday and they made some cute extra touches in the room and provide a very nice little cake . Thank you very much!!! From now on its my place to stay while visiting Jakarta .

Love the hospitality, the food was amazing. The interior has a character with lots of artwork to walk with. Staff were really top notch and amenities were great. Perfect for a couple I'd say. Love the room card aesthetic. The gym is also fascinating.

Although there is a punchy smell of sewage in the morning by the lobby–it didn't affect the rooms though. Some hard products seem to be cheap quality, especially the napkin and cutleries. Other than that, it is decent.
