Were nice and welcoming, also flexibility was shown when the coffeemachine turned out to be on random offline the host offered us coffee from the restaurant. The breakfast was really lovely, we enjoyed our one night stay before travelling further. No bad surprises, the Pictures of the room was just as we experienced in real life and the bed was also very comfy all along with the bathroom which was quite authentic and well set up. Thank you for the good experience!! I would recommend this place to those who wish to book a stay in Lindau that is true to the German Style and offers an authentic experience. The Beergarden has a nice athmosphere and the hotel itself reflects a bit of history in an artsy way.

Location is perfect near to Lindau island (8 min by car) and nice garden restaurant, typical Bavarian style food. Room completely fulfilled our expectations for one night stay, old style furniture in accordance to the hotel building but bathroom completely new. Breakfast meeting all standards maybe some more variate of sweet cakes can be added.

The room wooden floure has not been vacuumed as i found white hair and others on my socks walking through the room

Large room with lots of storage. Quiet at night. Good breakfast and very dog friendly. The restaurant is a pleasant place to eat at night and reasonably priced. Pleasant, relaxed service.

It is an old coaching inn and has retained the original style but could do with some refurbishment:it is much the same as the first time I stayed there in 1981. There was a broken window pane in our room and no proper curtains on one window. The beds were comfortable but short for my husband and quite narrow.

The breakfast was delicious! We made use of the Biergarten and walked the nearby pedestrian path to the Island of Lindau.

There is a window in the shower to the rest of the main room. It is from the ceiling to about knee level. My teenage daughters and husband were not comfortable with showering with others able to see them in the room.

Basically everything: staff were super pleasant and nice, the breakfast was amazing, the room is beautiful and comfortable, parking in front of the place and we didn't pay for our pet. The staff was pet friendly as well which is much appreciated!

The staff really went out of our way and helped to make our stay here comfortable and convenient. We sent some suitcases on ahead to this destination which they received for us and helped us with when there were some shipping problems. As we had to leave at 5:30 AM, they put together a wonderful breakfast packet for us to eat on the train. We were here on rainy week days in late September and the room was quiet, clean and comfortable, although the hotel was at full occupancy. The breakfast was very very nice and in a nicely decorated setting. The train station is a 15 minute walk away which worked well for us.

The staff was very freindly, nice parkinglot for free. Breakfast included.

Since the hotel is located along the street and there was no AC in the room, we had a bit struggle on how many windows we should open during night. Because we could hear for sure some noises from the street. The design of the sink in the bathroom could be improved, the water easily ended up all over the place.

it would be very nice if the kitchen staff would order food refills without waiting for the plates to be completely empty (For breakfast) Also, they charge us twice for one night. We reserved the room by online. But in the morning they said we didn’t pay. So we paid in reception, and next day we checked the bank account and the money was debited there again, so we paid for the room twice.
