How lovely to sleep with the sound of waves washing on the shore. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating even when we arrived at 11pm. Rooms are well designed and beautifully furnished. The restaurant host, Mladen, made us feel very comfortable and cared for, which is lovely when so far from home. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

This was our 2nd visit to the hotel. We stayed here last year and loved it so much that we booked again! On check in, the staff acknowledged that we had stayed before, they upgraded us and a bottle of wine was waiting for us in our room - a lovely touch! The staff, location, food, accommodation and atmosphere in this hotel are all exceptional. This year the sister hotel, Asterea was open. We really enjoyed using the facilities here. The spa area, especially the indoor pool was great. We also loved the terrace bar where we often had drinks and some lovely bar snacks.

I would like the sunbeds at the beach to be complimentary for hotel guests.

The location was Amazing, on the beach in a quiet area. There was enough around you to get food and a drink in different bars and a nice walk along the coast to go to other restaurants. The room was a great size, had a balcony, nice bathroom with double sink etc. The bed was SOOO BIG and comfy! Breakfast was nice too, the usual European options with a good selection. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and its was SO CLEAN!! The gym was good enough. 2 Treadmills, a Cross trainer, a bike, Cable cross over machine, squat/bench press rack, a couple of benches and a rack of dumbbells. I cannot fault this hotel at all and would go back for sure. We went in June so it wasnt too busy but i suspect in July August it could get very crowded. The hotel has a restaurant on the beach (Oleander) where you can get food or just sit for drinks. They also have a Pizza and Pasta restaurant in front of the hotel overlooking the beach too. There are 2 bars next to the hotel where you can sit in the bay watching the boats and the sea. Also dont miss the Pirate bay 5 minute walk away (cash only), so cool and beyond good views! One great thing about the area is that there are so many ATM machines where you can get money if you need it. I think there was at least 4 in the hotel vicinity! There is a Ferry port 5 minute walk from the hotel where you can go to Dubrovnik, Cavtat and the 3 island tours. The only thing i would say it that it would have been nice to have a snack bar or somewhere that did smaller bites to eat rather than full meals but its a minor thing really.

This was our 3rd visit to the Maistra Mlini Hotel and we absolutely love it here. I cannot recommend it enough for anyone who wants to visit Dubrovnik but would like to escape the masses of people who converge on the city over the summer. It is located about 15 minutes from Old town Dubrovnik by car, taxi, and bus but I highly recommend taking the ferry that picks you up from the port and takes you straight to old town. It is an experience in itself. However, the main thing we love about the hotel is the staff. We had a car accident when a local sideswiped our car in the hotel parking lot—which we saw from our balcony. The staff went into action, located the driver, made him come to the hotel the next day, arranged for us to get an estimate on our damages, arranged for us to go with the driver to the insurance company which then took pictures to process our claim. We were only to spend one night, however, the whole process took all day so they graciously extended our stay giving us a fantastic discount on the second night, which was a major Croatian holiday where they could have sold our room for twice what we paid. The hotel is our mainstay location whenever we come to Dubrovnik and everyone should try it. Altogether, it is as good as all the 5 star hotels we have stayed at in Dubrovnik (Argentina, Excelsior).

We loved everything!

Hotel Mlini was wonderful, it is close to the airport and Dubrovnik old town. It is easy to get around with Uber and by boat taxi. Uber cost approx. €8 one way to the old town! The surrounding beaches are beautiful and a short walk from Srebreno harbour too. There are three restaurants on the hotel grounds which were very good. Two pools - outdoor and indoor, both lovely and clean. The staff were friendly. Wonderful choice if you don't want to stay in the old town where it is busy. You get the best of the beach and the old town from here.

Honestly, nothing! I couldn't fault our stay.

The hotel looked very new, fresh looking and very clean. The staff were great, nothing troubled them, and they always greeted us with a smile. Mladen was great he was very friendly and often appeared at breakfast with a birthday cake in his hand , followed by the staff to sing happy birthday to whoever's happy day it was, he has great voice too. Our room on the second floor was large, as was the bathroom, large comfy bed, plenty of sockets, a safe and lots of space for your clothes, also a refrigerator. Nice TV, also a balcony with view to the front of the hotel, which overlooks the Adriatic. We had breakfast included, which was very good, plenty of choice, hot , cold, breads, pastries, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bacon etc etc. All very good. The hotel was near to a sister hotel, a five minute walk, this one had a freshwater swimming pool ( very cold, but fine once you got in ) You can use the restaurant there as well, as well as the beach bar/ restaurant, Bistro Oleander, which was very good, nice selection of food and snacks. Also in front of the Hotel Mlini was Basilico pizza pasta restaurant which was only open in the evening, and again did a good selection of dishes. And you could put the bill on all these restaurant's straight onto your room bill which was very easy. All in all a great first trip to Croatia, we will definitely return one day soon.

The only thing I can say here is there was only one English channel on the tv Sky news, and that kept losing signal, we love to have a cup of tea, first thing in the morning watching the news. But that is all I can fault.

We really enjoyed our time at the Maistra Select Mlini Hotel. There was so much we loved about our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean (in fact throughout the hotel was pristine) and comfortable. We had breakfast included in our stay and this was fabulous, so much choice that everyone had something they loved (The eggs Benedict royal were great!). The pool area was lovely and again very clean. We loved the Oleander Restaurant & Bistro which is close to the pool area and beach and had lunch here most days, we can highly recommend the Croatian street food kebab. We also had a fabulous meal at the Basilico Pizza Pasta Restaurant situated directly in front of the hotel. In terms of location, the hotel is situated in a great area with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. They are also very close to the water taxi service that takes you into Dubrovnik for a charge of €15 return which is a must for all visitors. The beach was lovely but make sure to take beach shoes as it is very rocky. Thanks to everyone for making our stay one we won't forget in a hurry!

There was a charge to use the sun beds and umbrellas on the beach which we really feel should have been included in your stay.

Me and my mother wanted to spend one week in a relaxing place away from the city crowds and Mlini was the perfect place for us. It is very calm and quiet and the hotel location is just perfect. The hotel restaurants are really good and affordable. The staff is exceptional, always friendly, smiling and professional. The breakfast was really delicious, staff there served us coffee every morning and we could order from the à la carte menu. Our room was very clean, spacious and with a sea view. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a calm and relaxing place outside of Dubrovnik. We took bus nr 10 to Dubrovnik and it took only 10-15min (a one way ticket is 2.90€). You can take the same bus to Cavtat which is a really picturesque small town worth a visit. You can also take the water taxi from the Mlini port just outside of the hotel and the ticket is 10€ to Cavtat and Dubrovnik. It’s only a 15min ride away from the airport too. I will definitely go back to Mlini.

Everything was lovely.

This hotel was a truly delightful surprise! We just booked it for one night as a layover in Dubrovnik because it was close to the airport. We were overjoyed to find it was located right by the seaside in a beautifullyscenic area, and they upgraded our rooms to an ocean view. We were able to take a very short stroll down the boardwalk to several lovely restaurants right on the water. In addition, the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed, and the included breakfast was terrific with a huge variety. A great place to stay at a reasonable price.

Stunning location. Lots to do around the area whilst also feeling remote and private. Beautiful scenery and the rooms were stunning. Breakfast was very good. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
