This is a very attractive country hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds in our twin room were very comfortable and the bathroom worked well. Parking was easy and the breakfast was excellent.

My only concern was that the room was very small. I knew this when booking, so I can't complain.

Tastefully decorated & not “cheap” looking feel. Nice a la cart menu and decent choice for house wines. There was need to tell the hotel if you wanted a la cart so they set up a Table - fairly smooth sailing. Dinner we had was very good. The bedroom was comfortable with excellent bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. There a small peaceful looking play area for kids behind the hotel. Next door there is cafe and so there is food and drink availability even after hours - convenient and choices for all!

Room a bit warm but window May be opened. One can here the neighboring shower and taps!

Cozy hotel and well located for a short family stay with toddler. Ski slopes in the immediate vicinity and an adjacent swimming pool with sauna was very welcoming after skiing. The restaurant had a good selection with some classic Norwegian dishes and several options for children. Breakfast was good, but it could have offered some more hot options. We got an upgrade to a family room with a sofa bed for our child due to some confusion about a request made for a large bed where we had gotten two singles instead. This was a nice gesture. All in all, we were happy with our stay and can recommend this hotel. :-)

The bathroom was dated, and the bathroom floor heating did not work, they did offer to change our room but we had already settled in.

Great beautiful hotel conveniently located for us on our way to Oslo airport. Very clean. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Good breakfast. It also had a cafe next door.

We had a room on the top floor and although it was the end of May and only +15c outside it got quite warm.No air-conditioning. I would have thought that during summer it might get very hot. Only had one small window at the top of a wall.

a very cozy hotel. the staff was very helpful and friendly. Has a parking available, near by there are some supermarkets and some placed to eat.

the rooms might need some renovations. the room i stayed had a tiny window very high, it was a little upsetting.

Extremely friendly staff showing genuine interest in visitors. Food in the restaurant was amazing they also have a cafe if you don't want the restaurant. Beds were very comfy leading to good nights sleep.

Very nice room, more upscale for the price we paid. Nice dinner in the dining room; they were accommodating to store our bicycles. We mostly appreciated it was nicer than we expected for the price we paid. There was very little choice in the area so we were very happy to stay in such a nice place.

Clean, modern and comfortable. Very happy with the service. Breakfast was extensive. There was a big party on but it didn’t really disturb us.

There was a dog barking in the room opposite which was annoying.

Visted Oct 23 - Loved the location (like a New England village), great rooms and relaxing lounge, wonderful restaurant, cute coffee shop, lovely friendly staff and great gift shop. Will definitely come back in the future!

Excellent hotel with good family rooms, great food and breakfast and very nice staff. We stayed here on our way from Flam to west coast, perfect stop in between
