This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel El Cristo, which should give some indication that we like it. We needed an overnight stop in our trip and it is easy to get to from the Cuota. The grounds of the property are beautiful. The rooms spacious, comfortable and wonderfully clean. There are restaurants everywhere, some good choices just across the street to El Oriental (if you like “Arab-style” tacos —it’s a thing) to Cafe Milli that celebrates indigenous maize less than an easy 850m walk away. And, pets are allowed with an additional cleaning fee. Next time we need an overnight stop near Cholula we will stay at Hotel El Cristo.

Hotel El Cristo is an attractive hacienda-style hotel just off Cholula's centre. There is ample parking onsite. Rooms are large, beds comfortable, showers hot, towels and sheets clean. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with good views of Cholula's famous pyramid and hilltop sanctuary. Breakfast is in a cafe a short stroll across a well-maintained sports ground.

Overall, this is an attractive, well-run hotel. It represents excellent value and is highly-recommended.

Lovely in some ways and could be great if there was coffee in the room and outdoor furniture was a bit more comfortable. They should provide a map and clarity about being right between San Andres and San Pedro. The setting is pretty and the public park adjacent is nice but a public pool is not part of the hotel.

Fair price and excellent location. The kids enjoyed the gardens and it was great to have a small plaza with dining options right across the street.

The beds were too hard and the bedding was a bit too used and had weird stains. Other than that we enjoyed our stay a lot, would come back for sure.

The views are amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Hotel is well keep and clean.

The beds are super hard and their is club right in front that is nosy at night so sometimes it was hard to sleep..

No continentel breakfast but coffee and tea. The yard was beautiful and big! Lots of trees and green grass, nice patio funiture, and restaurants across the street! A very quite place besides the barking dogs (somehow annoying but acceptable) and fire works!

I liked everything, only the restaurant that you get a discount for staying at El Cristo was too slow to serve our food, very good but very slow!

The place is really right in the center, a great location. and the hotel is well decorated with art and murals. the pool has a great view as the terrace bar. really nice breakfast at the restaurant.

Some tiny improvements would make the place even better, like the shower has plenty of water running under the shower door, wobly toilet seat. parking was supposedly included but its actually a reasonable 100mx per 24hr.

The facilities are beautiful, very well kept and clean, the views of the volcanoes and the pyramid with the church on top are second to none! I highly recommend this place!
