One of the highlights of our stay was the made-to-order breakfast each morning. It was not only delicious but also a lovely, personal touch that set the tone for relaxed and enjoyable days. The staff was welcoming and attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the Centro, yet tucked away enough to offer a quiet retreat from the bustle of the main streets. Whether you're exploring the historic heart of the city or simply enjoying a peaceful moment at the hacienda, everything feels within reach. The Jacuzzi was not working properly, and we were informed that the jets were malfunctioning.

A privilege to stay in a historic stone hacienda with beautifully landscaped courtyards, private niches and rooftop terraces boasting Parroquia views giving the quintessential vibe of San Miguel de Allende. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully curated with precious artefacts and the bed very comfortable with quality soft linen. The typical Mexican tiled bathroom had excellent plumbing. The reception, night porter & kitchen staff were very personable, kind & efficient. It was a pleasure to come home to relax after a short uphill stroll from the Jardín.

The property is extremely unique. Very old Spanish colonial and solid stone everywhere. If you want authenticity and beauty through design and architecture, this is thebplace for you. And the location and view are really exceptional. Haven't even mentioned the staff, who were fantastic.

This is not a negative, but customers should be aware that San Miguel is built on a hill, which means there are some streets that are quite steep. Also, you are in Mexico, and not everyone speaks English. So you shouldn't expect that! Communication with staff was always possible with a translation app.

I was hesitant to book this hotel at the time due to limited reviews, but am so glad that I did. Honestly, one of the most beautiful and well maintained places we've ever stayed at. The staff was so accommodating, allowing us to check in early, serving amazing breakfasts and made us feel like we were welcomed guests. You have your entire run of the this place, as there are multiple seating areas, many with views of the city, as well as a small pool. We booked a room with a small balcony, and it was perfect for us. The rooms feel ancient, but have modern amenities and are very comfortable. This place is also perfectly located just outside the core of the city, so it's a little quieter and really only a 5 min walk to the busiest parts of town. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, charming hotel in a great location. Just two blocks to the big cathedral! We had low expectations because of the price and the photos. When we got there we were stunned. It was SO AMAZING!!! The staff were perfect. Armando helped us a lot and made us feel safe. Daniela was a great server and the cook prepared us the best breakfasts we had in Mexico. This hotel is a fantastic value. In front of my room was an outside area with a view of the city and the churches. The place was small and friendly. I recommend they get a professional photographer to take photos that do the place justice. It's much more beautiful than what you see.

Every corner you walked around there was another beautifully decorated room or view to be seen. The landscaping was gorgeous, the staff was lovely and the views of the city were spectacular! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

It was not a problem for us, however, if someone has issues with walking, this might not be the right place for you. There is a very steep hill to climb to get to the property and, once inside the front doors, there are many narrow stone staircases to ascend.

It is a beautiful hotel, with little nooks and quiet places to sit whilst looking out at San Miguel. Very lush and extrem;ely well designed in terms of rooms. I would highly recommend it in terms of the comfort and romantic feel to the hotel. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, and we had a lovely cooked breakfast each morning, and a complementary bottle of wine in the room which was also a nice touch. The shampoo and conditioner were eco friendly bars, and worked wonderfully. It is a straight walk down the hill into the center of town, the only thing to note is that you have a fairly steep walk up a hill from town, but for those not able to do this walk home there is a steady flow of taxis.

at the top of hill and then lots of stairs. we were ok with it but would be difficult for those with poor mobility. only one or two staff spoke English. no real welcome and little information provided about basics like breakfast, activities, etc. seemed short staffed. basically minimal interaction with staff. I think we were only guests too. saw no one else. got an email early on if I wanted anything special for my bday. when I replied I got no response and then later messaged again, still no response. also would’ve loved to know more about history of building.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at by far. This was actually my second visit and the service is above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced anywhere. We actually had an elopement ceremony here and the staff helped make everything perfect and so easy for us and we are forever grateful. There is no place I would ever recommend more in San Miguel it is the most beautiful property and the staff are the most lovely people. Thank you so much

There is not a single negative everything is perfect

cleanliness, attentive staff, good breakfast and coffee, but the hotel and grounds themselves are what made it stand out the most. Three levels ,two rooftop terrazas, the most amazing plants, architecture, and decor were simply magical. The most beautiful and most unique place I’ve ever stayed. Five minute walk from the famous downtown and cathedral…
