Near the river and serene. Best breakfasts ever.

A woman was coming down to the bank where a pair of swans used to nest and even had signets. She would look dreamily off to the sky whilst her 2 dogs dug and muzzled excitedly on the banks they also walked in. There were ducks there earlier too. All have moved upstream and the pair of swans have no signets. She arrives around 8.00 am or 8:30 am I should have said something. Hopefully another guest will pass it on!

This is a lovely, quiet resort situated right on the River Sile and very close to Venice, Treviso, Prosecco and more. It is a great place to escape the crowds and the heat of the Italian summer, but still be able to venture into them at your leisure. The pool and sunbathing area was a terrific way for us to decompress after sightseeing, and we enjoyed the poolside bar. The room was lovely and spacious. The restaurant had very high-end food...delicious.

There were a couple of non-working items in the room, i.e. jacuzzi tub, lights. Not deal-breakers by any means. The property had many features and they were primarily in great working condition.

This is a great boutique hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is plenty of room on the property to stroll a nice escape. The pool area being separated feels good. The rooms are spacious light and clean. The restaurant has a good menu they have a good kitchen with an excellent chef, outside groups even dine there. Having a view of the river at breakfast with a swan and cignets is hard to beat, tranquil.

More vegan dishes I am not vegetarian I enjoy vegetables a lot is all I still enjoyed what was on offer

The place was excellent, the rooms were clean and tidy, with new and clean towels and very beautiful designs . The room was normal, and the bathroom was big, clean, and comfortable. The stuff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast was great and the swimming pool was clean and the place around beautiful full of flowers. It it really an excellent place to stay.!

What a hidden gem this hotel is!!! Borgo Cà dei Sospiri was a God send after being stranded in Venice airport, due to a missed flight connection, myself and my friend booked Borgo Cà dei Sospiri at 12pm and arrived 30 minutes later, where we were greeted by the most lovely Receptionist who could not have done enough for us. After explaining our eventful morning to the receptionist she upgraded us to a beautiful suite, with one of the comfiest beds I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Every member of staff we came across were so kind and welcoming and the grounds of the hotel are like something from a film, so picturesque and everything you could imagine the Italian countryside to be! Both the lunch time restaurant and the main restaurant were faultless, the food was so tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel is in a remote location with a small village a short walk away, which unfortunately we did not get chance to visit! If you are looking for an authentic Italian hotel with friendly staff, stunning surroundings and delicious food, please look no further than Borgo Cà dei Sospiri! I cannot wait to return

The pool was lovely and the surroundings were planted beautifully with flowers and shrubs. We had a very nice lunch overlooking the river. The restaurant menus surprised us with innovative take on Italien Cousine.

It would have been nice to have more sockets or usb plugs available in the bedroom. As there was a high instep into the shower a grab rail would have been good.

This was our second stay (for two nights) in the hotel, and this time, we had an even better experience as the hotel was renovated recently. The adjacent La Corte restaurant is excellent; we had the best meal of our 7-day trip here. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options and great staff. My wife suffers from celiac disease, and we asked about gluten-free options during the booking, and we had a bunch of options for her. Venice is 30 minutes by train from the hotel, and they offer two-way shuttle transfers to the train station and back for a small amount, way less than local taxis.

It was immaculate, room was a good size and the staff was very helpful and professional. I booked because I wanted someplace not too far from the airport. I was able to easily get to Venice with the train - platform 3 and Treviso with the bus. They had a shuttle for 5€ that brought you to the train and bus stops. You called the hotel to have the shuttle pick you up on your return from the bus or train. They also had a swimming pool, but I didn’t use it. The taxi to the airport was 40€

The restaurant was a bit pricey and the food was not great. However, the breakfast was very good.

Everything! The staff were all super friendly and helpful, very welcoming. The breakfast choice was excellent, there was something for everyone. The room was comfy, great shower with plenty of hot water. Everywhere was very clean. Loved the shuttle service to the train station to get into Venice, easy to book and very prompt.

A couple of times the pool towel smelt dirty which was unpleasant.

This is actually the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. It’s an incredibly quiet place near the river, with friendly service and delicious dinners. Blackberries growing along the river, it's fantastic. Another big advantage is the comfortable swimming pool with clean water, perfect for swimming.

I found only one disadvantage: we spent too little time there, but that's my fault
