The hotel is modern and beautifully designed. We found it very convenient that our family room consisted of two connecting twin bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. All hotel staff from front office to housekeeping were highly efficient, friendly and professional. The parking elevator was great to drop off and pick up our car with ease - just make sure you grab everything you need from the car before dropping it off.

The hotel car park is accessed from the side alley (Haruyoshi—koan-dori Ave) through a narrow entryway. We used these coordinates (33.5828169, 130.4075365) for navigation because you could easily miss it. There was a very strong aroma in the lobby that made us a bit dizzy but thankfully we did not spend much time there.

Excellent location near a subway station and bus stops, with a supermarket and many convenience stores nearby. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff! It was great to have washing machines, dryers, and a microwave oven on 2F for guests to use. Because all rooms were non-smoking, we didn’t have to worry about lingering smoke (we have 2 persons with asthma in our group).

It would have been nice to have bins to sort out our recyclables. Also, it seems to be common in many hotels - there were no hooks for hanging clothes in the bathroom. Would be nice to have some!!

1. The bathroom/toilet was very clean. In fact, it looked like it was new and never used. I also liked that they provided 3 sets of very clean, nice smelling white pajamas of comfortable material. I also liked their uniquely brown slippers. 2. The frontdesk lady was very helpful. When she could not explain well in English, she took out an appliance which was able to translate Japanese into English. 3. There was a self-check-out machine. When the frontdesk lady saw that we did not know how to use it, she was was quick to ask us to go to the frontdesk so she could take care of our check-out. It was very quick! 4. The hotel was right across Lawson and about 2 blocks away was 7-11 convenience store. At the side was an alley with several eating places. Unfortunately, it was already 8pm and the only restaurant open was an Asian Resto which closed at 10pm. Fortunately, the shop owner was very accommodating to our needs. 5. If you need a taxi, the frontdesk will arrange for a taxi to come to the hotel.

We paid for 3 beds in a room. The sofa was converted into a bed. It was quite crowded because we had 3 big and 3 small luggages.

Location was great, 5mins away from the subway station. Surrounded by convenient stores, laundromat, and fresh markets. Staff were great! They are helpful and approachable as I booked literally when I landed Fukuoka and rooms were made available asap. The rooms were spacious, clean and daily housekeeping was available which was superb, including towels, slippers, water bottles and tea Would definitely book again here.

If i am very picky, the walls were dirty and had stains but didn’t bother us.

The location is pretty convenient for us! It is close to a subway station, and both Tenjin and Hakata station are within walking distance (~20 min). Overall I love the neighbourhood-- it feels safe, and we can easily access convenience stores, restaurants, and drug stores nearby. The hotel itself feels very stylish. My friend and I stayed in a comfort twin room, which is more spacious than we had expected. We were both very pleased to have space to open our big suitcases. Another feature I like is the big flat screen TV in this room, which is really just a nice bonus, as we came to fukuoka for concerts so it was nice to be able to play some of our idols' videos on YouTube.

As many have pointed out, the room isn't well-lit, which can be a problem for applying makeup. Also, we find the cleaning staff's standards... interesting. The trash bin in the room is quite small, so sometimes we couldn't throw bigger stuff (e.g., finished bento boxes, bottles) inside, and just left them next to or on top of the bin instead. In our opinion, it was very clear that those were trash, but the cleaning staff didn't always take them out.

This hotel is very nice. there are bus stations around the hotel and very close. If you want to go to or from Hakata Station, there is bus station just 1-minute walk. Next to it is the famous market (Yanagibashi Market), where you can find seafood, mentaiko, kamaboko and Japanese sweet. The receptionist staff, name Toyoshima/Aiza is super super nice and helpful with our problem. She did extra miles to call, contact the Yamato Transport to find solution to the problem. Check in and Check out are simple and convenient. The water pressure for rain shower and handhelp shower is good. You can borrow hair straightener

not providing cottonbud and face/body lotion. (it is mentioned that the amenities includes cottonbud). There is certain smell in the bathroom. The smell is there when we arrive, even we sprayed the room deodorant and turn on the air purifier

This accommodation was really comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The staff was so nice and helpful and the breakfast really good. It‘s quite central, most sightseeing spots are either in walking distance or very easy to get to via public transport. We can highly recommend this hotel if you‘re staying for a few days in Fukuoka.

There could be more hooks im the bathroom for towels. But all in all, everything was good!

We came back to this hotel for the second time. Everything was excellent. Amazing staff. Clean and welcoming environment. Beds were very comfortable. Big shower. Good breakfast with both Japanese and continental options. Good position between city centre and train station. Easy access to bus and underground services.

The room was quite small, but comfortable.

Location was pretty good. Walking distance to most places. Great shower pressure. Hotel is modern and new.

Staff were a bit hit and miss. Some very friendly. Some a bit grumpy. Room was clean but needed a repaint. Lots of scuffs on the walls. Shower over bath was very 1980s for a new build hotel. Pillows were flat as a pancake which impacted on sleep quality.

I absolutely loved my stay at Cross Life Hakata Yanagibashi. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and feels very new, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is cozy, and everything about the hotel is super comfortable, from the rooms to the facilities. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting the area.
