Stayed again 11/12 April. Disappointed no dinner available in March but very good and enjoyable dinner in April and the Demi-Pension package makes it very good value. The breakfast is good, french style plus. Dog friendly. Bins and grass. Room quiet. Very good road access on edge of town.

The room was clean and tidy and everything worked. However it was very compact!! Especially with dog! (even though he's pretty small). Even the bathroom is extra compact. Would stay again but if for more than one night I'd check if they have any bigger rooms?

The restaurant is really special. The cook Anthony is very good, the tastes were superb for something as simple as chips which were super delicious to full plates of crudités and very delicious deserts with flavours and textures very well balanced. The staff also couldn't have been more helpful. They made it a pleasure.

Well the rooms were a little tired, but I understand plans are in progress to freshen them. The bed was very comfortable, everything worked, TVs in the right places. I slept well and didn't feel hurried but welcomed.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Location was good for me, easily accessible to motorways and vets handy for my dog. Nice places to eat in the nearby area, ended up going to a buffalo’s which was nice. Parking seemed plenty, although not secured (to be fair, I was not worried).

There was mould in my room in the corner of the ceiling, bathroom was a little on the small side with toilet being close to the shower.

nice sized room with a very comfortable bed , tea and coffee in the room is very good. breakfast was great and excellent value for money. I have stayed here for quite a few years now while on my way to other parts of France and I will be booking again for my next trip to France in 2025 .

not a dislike but just an observation that the different things that where not on the breakfast bar this time . but still very good value for money.

It is quite difficult to find this hotel, so our tip is to approach it from the Argentan road. This is no 5 star establishment, it is just a simple, basic bed (reasonable quality) and breakfast (good selection, enough to set you up for the day). There is food available in the evenings too, but do not expect cordon bleu, it was just simple meals but tasty and cooked well, perfectly good after a long trip. The decor could do with an update though, everything is brown, and it makes the hotel look dark and dingy!! Bright colours would lift its image so much. The Staff are lovely and so helpful. The hotel is clean, but the shower rooms are small. We would stay here again if we were in the area, perfectly good for an overnight stop over.

When we finally got into the room it was very comfortable, the shower was amazing and temperature was perfect. Good sound proofing. Breakfast was good, it was a continental breakfast and the Madeleines were the best ever, it was a very enjoyable breakfast.

We were very late getting there and I tried to ring but got no answer, when we got there the hotel was all locked up, apparently they had messaged me but I never received any message, we rang the bell quite a few times but still got no answer. We slept in our cars until 6:30 before having a few hours sleep in the hotel room. Our rooms were left open for us but unfortunately they didn’t leave a note.

Most of all I liked that the bed had a duvet. That was fantastic. Very good shower. Strong and hot. We had a quiet room facing a lawn at the back of the hotel. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was good. Parking right in front of the hotel was perfect and free. Connection to the A28 was very good and close. This is my second time staying here.

The location was excellent. The hotel was excellent value for money. The staff very welcoming, particularly the host on reception. Our room was very clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent value for money , cooked, and presented to an excellent standard. I would very highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

There was nothing to dislike at this hotel.

The choice of many different items was excellent and the fact that you were not pressured to hurry out of the restaurant was super , we did not have to wait for anything that was not ready for us to have when we wanted it ! Basically a great breakfast and many times better than other hotels in the area and I will now only ever book this hotel for my future stays . Great service , wonderful friendly staff.

Everything was absolutely fine ! No complaints at all.

As a solo traveller my room was adequate for the price I paid. Breakfast was adequate too. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was pretty good considering the price: Euros 17 for two courses. The hotel's location is very convenient; close to the main trunk roads but just on the outskirts of town. It was quiet at night - just how I like it!

I chose this hotel to stay for five nights but really it's for travellers stopping overnight. Therefore, what's provided is sufficient for that purpose but it's not 'luxurious'.
