We have stayed there several times, it’s easy to find with parking on the street or secure parking in the rear garden. It’s a short walk into the centre of Alencon, where there is usually a lovely market taking place. The owners are well organised and pleasant. Breakfast is great. I was especially pleased this year as our room was air conditioned, great after a long drive.

Wish I had more time to stay in Alencon, it’s charming & friendly place, I had a bit of bartering with the stall holders whilst buying some items for my wife.

Very friendly and helpful owners. We went to one of the restaurants recommended, Chez Fano, the food was excellent, but we felt that we had been overcharged. When we told the hotel owner about this, he asked for the details and was very annoyed at our treatment. He called the restaurant himself to complain and reduced our bill, intending to visit the restaurant personally the next day to prevent a recurrence to any of his guests. He couldn't do enough for us.

Dog owners were asked to clean up after their pets, quite a lot hadn't. The owners' dog was a big 10 year old German Shepherd, which attacked our very gentle Cockapoo. Fortunately no damage done. The owners were mortified, however their dog clearly had issues and should not be allowed off a leash in a public area.

Rooms were immaculately clean with beds of pristine white sheets. Whole hotel was beautifully clean. Hotel was easy to get to on our way back from the very South of France. We were delayed in traffic incidents for hours, but the hotel were amazing when we couldn't get there by 9pm, so made arrangements for us to collect our room keys and as we had been on the road for 14 hours I can't thank them enough. I would recommend this hotel to everyone . We travel to France a couple of times a year and now this will be my first choice stop over hotel.

Wonderful welcome. Safe off street parking. Very dog friendly. Nice enclosed garden with seating areas. Bar and breakfast offered but no restaurant onsite, however staff make recommendations and reservations. We ate at the Haut Ministere which was 10 minutes walk and had an excellent, good value meal. No a/c and some rooms face the street although it is not noisy I would recommend requesting a room facing the garden.

Slighly shabby decor in places and the neighbourhood felt a little run down.

Location is good for us near the motorway . Supermarket opposite for petrol & near very good restaurants. Pleased to see a tray in the room this time - always ready for a cup of tea! Also free, secure parking- always a plus when we don’t want to take all the luggage into the room.

Towels were quite small & thin. Shower height not adjustable so not ideal. Not a problem if you don’t have heavy cases but no lift.

Excellent location with a short walk to the centre of town, very spacious room, and super comfortable bed. The room had direct access to the terrace and garden. Free protected parking.

No reception after 8 pm, access with code only. We lost the code, but thankfully, someone answered the bell, otherwise we would have spent the night on the street. The surcharge for our dog was 20 EUR per night.

Friendly management, everything clean and fresh, comfy bed in a nice room that looked newly decorated, very quiet at night, nice breakfast and secure free parking. The location opposite the station was surprisingly quiet and we felt quite safe both there and in Alençon centre. We would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom was a little dated but "homely" and perfectly acceptable.

We first stayed at the hotel around 5 years ago, and this time the welcome was just as warm as the last time. Super friendly reception and happy to accomodate our request for rooms close together for our kids. We had car trouble when we arrived this time and the hotel very kindly agreed to let us leave our car in their enclosed car park for the week while we arranged alternative transport. The breakfast is great and staff couldn't be friendlier.

Really friendly host Sebastian welcomed us and let us in early, we got a few beers and chatted with him til our room was ready. He was friendly to us and made a fuss of our little dog much to his delight. The room was spotless and smelled beautiful, the bed comfy which was welcome after 12 hours driving. In the morning breakfast smelled incredible but we had to leave early. It’s a short walk into the centre of town (10 Mins ish) and well worth the stroll.

Good communication from the hotel, to explain access, key, parking. The room was quiet, the bed very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is ample. The most important thing for me was to have sécure parking as I had a car full of valuables.
