WOW! This place thought of absolutely everything. They had glassware, a refrigerator, exceptional phone charging outlets, a tea kettle, a Nespresso, wonderful toiletries. The atmosphere was so magical. But the best thing of all, was the amazing pre arrival and post arrival communication. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of with late arrival, to having food available, to where to visit even after I left. I can't wait to return for a longer visit.

Didn’t realize it was so many steps up with our baggage! Not a dealbreaker - not hard fo younger folks but we are in 70’s and had just schlepped up and down ferry, so worn out at end of day. And - confusion re name of property. Were we at Ye Olde or Argyler Lodge or ?

Location was excellent

The bed was terrible. We were told that they were changing the beds but hadn’t got around to room 5 which was where we were staying. In my opinion we were sold a room that was substandard. I would like our money back as we never sleep a wink that night and my wife has now significant shooting pains in her back. She is scheduled to see her doctor as a result.

The Lodge is located in a remote area on Lobster bay. The view of the sunset from the large back porch was amazing. We ate at the on-site restaurant and it was one of our best meals in Nova Scotia during our entire vacation. The room as comfortable with a queen bed. The lighting in the room could have been better. We did not have breakfast, but they offered a full breakfast at 18.00 CAN per person. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We loved the scenic views, the beautiful property, the rooms, the 'oh so comfy' beds, the friendly service and helpful tips from our host. Unfortunately the weekend we came, dining was on a limited basis and restricted to certain times, so we were unable to eat in the restaurant for dinner, however 3 of us had the breakfast for $18 each. It was superb! Definitely worth the price.

Some of our party had trouble with the coffee machines. I think clear instructions in the rooms for guests would be helpful. As mentioned previously, we all loved the breakfast, but didn't like the restrictive time slots. I think it would be more beneficial to have breakfast just served from 8-10.30 am, rather than just 2 choices of times.

the whole place was great, overlooking the bay, great sunset. the dining room was beauriful with windows all over, but we had to take a very cold,i mean cold shiwer in the morning. hopefully it was not done on purpose. otherwise we love the place. the bed was foam mattress and half comfortable.

This property is absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and calm with beautiful views, especially at sunset.the owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! The room was very clean and comfortable. I wish we were staying longer.

The room was larger than expected and very comfortable. And the breakfast was amazing. The omelet meal was wonderful and such a full meal we needed no lunch.

No complaints but one small suggestion. A small simple shelf on the wall by the sink would give guests some where to set their things.

Glorious location and view, perfect for an escape from the city. Comfortable room, well appointed and additional extras like books and outdoor seating were appreciated. Breakfast service was exceptional!

Very nice property on the beach. Dog friendly which was amazing! the food was delicious as well, definitely worth eating at the restaurant while staying there. Elana was very helpful and hospitable.

The walls are a little thin, so it was easy to hear other guests coming/going at night. The breakfast was delicious, but a little on the pricey side.
