. Staff are polite well mannered. I thought with it being above pub with my two young children would be probably absolutely not. Even local so friendly. Idea area and bonus car park. Family room has plenty of space. All I would recommend is change the headboard the bits falling off it with the leather but comfortable sleep. Tv works perfectly, food in pub is so tasty much better than local take aways. Reason for visit from Edinburgh to Scunthorpe was my Dad funeral and was close by. Would stay again that’s for sure but maybe good vale for money but just maybe chance the bed frame as but coming off it and seals around bath tub just go over it with more white apart from that’s everything else spot on Thank you for the good 3 nights stay in your family room.

Just frame on bed mattress was great

Needed one night stay and first ever visit to Scunthorpe. Selected this hotel as it was reasonably close to station. About 10 minutes walk. Whilst the building may have seen better days, it proved convenient and comfortable with very helpful staff. The downstairs bar and restaurant was very spacious and I had dinner there with friends. A good range of choices and very reasonable prices (a pint of beer for £ 2.90). Breakfast was also very reasonable and service and quality both good. In terms of value for money this proved a very good choice. Easy to find on the Doncaster Road, town centre and shops a short walk immediately left outside of the hotel. A large Sainsburys next door, with garage.

We had a couple of rooms. The rooms were very basic but had everything you need to stay. We were made to feel very welcome. We had a meal the first night plenty of choice on the menu. We also had breakfast which I thought was good value for money. We were able to park the car but limited parking spaces. The staff were really nice and polite, explained everything. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The check out was very easy, took less than 2 minutes. But I felt it was well worth the money for a stay.

The hotel is clean , well wormed, beds are comfortable, it has hot water and bath, desk, and kettle. With cofee and tee supply. Also , there is PUB on the ground floor, where good beer and decent food is served. Parking is enough, Shops around.

The bath has marks of black fungus at corners, valves remember Quinn Victoria. Nothing more could find what I could put at this part. O ... the TV is 16 inches , maybe 17 . But no more. TV Need an update to the 21 century.

I stay here weekly for my work & the location & the staff are very good

I went to bed at 10pm having had a really busy shift at work only to be awoken by noisy neighbours in an adjacent room at 12.30am drinking singing & acting like children which then turned violent with arguments shouting & banging on room doors doors being slammed & a lot of abusive words hurled at each other I eventually got to sleep at around 04.30 & was up for my work at 07.00 I was going to call the police ???

The hotel is old but the rooms are clean and warm. Parking is limited but somehow I always found one place. The hotel is close to the center, close to the supermarket and Lidl, and the PUB downstairs has an acceptable kitchen and a large choice of good beers.

No overhaul since Quinn Wictora makes it kind of museum-like. Special atmosphere may be however attractive for many people, especially for those foreigners who like the climate of the UK of '50s

The Hotel is old but surprisingly clean. The Pub below the hotel serves good meals and decent beers. Rooms are warm and beds are hygienically clean. A kettle and tea/coffee set make the place friendly and cozy.

The hardware is worn but still functional, and there are no European sockets. The TV is smaller than a typical PC display.

Room was fine, probably needs some minor repairs but everything worked. Never sleep well in hotels but that is not the hotel’s fault, bed was comfy. Did not have breakfast on this occasion as I needed a very early start, on previous visits breakfast was fine. Bar is great and food good and reasonable priced.

Not much, you get you you pay for, happy with stay. Will be back again next month if things go as planned.

chose to stay here as it was near to the venue that we were attending for the night. we had lunch and drinks which were lovely the food was delicious. the room was just what we expected for one night's stay, clean and comfortable. check in and out was very easy and with being able to park outside was a bonus. we would stay again if we were to find ourselves in that area again.

The location of the Hotel is bang on! Straight off the motorway at the Hotel in less than 5 mins. Because it's a Greene King too, food, drink and TV sports all on site. Free parking too.

If you don't book a breakfast, then you can't have one. It's not available to walk down from your room and expect one. However the distance from the Hotel to get a breakfast is minimal. There is a Sainsbury's over the road.
