The breakfast was brilliant with a wide choice of cereal, fruit juice and hot drinks. The hot croissant was an added bonus. My bedroom was well appointed and spacious. The only down side was the absence of a desk. However, as I discovered on the morning I was leaving there was a portable fold up table in the wardrobe that could have been used as a desk. Staying at Albert House was just like staying at home.

There was nothing to dislike about Albert House or the owners, Sue & Jeff.

Wow ! What a lovely, spotlessly clean , tidy place to stay and dog friendly. This accommodation is quality and a credit to Sue & Jeff. Access for free parking is at the rear of Albert House which is so easy to find. Although we travelled by car the railway station is only a few minutes walk away as is the Main Street with shops, bars and cafes. Even a Nisa Local just round the corner. Little courtyard at the entrance. We loved staying here and our room was comfortable and spacious with everything you need for a night or longer stay. Tea , coffee , quality biscuits ,tv and wifi access . The shower room with quality towels and toiletries. Beautifully cooked breakfast and cereals with tea or coffee in a lovely dining room. We have stayed in a lot of places over the years and Albert House is a 5 star gem. Thank you Sue & Jeff.

The only thing we didn’t like was that we didn’t stay for longer.

Sue & Jeff were both very nice and friendly as well as very welcoming. Albert House is a very nice place to stay. I really haven't got a bad thing to say about my stay there, My room was excellent, very clean and comfortable . Breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend it, and I will be staying there again. I would just like to thank Sue & Jeff again for making me stay with them so enjoyable..

Absolutely nothing.

Beautifully decorated sympathetic to nature of older building. Lovely modern bathroom facilities and complementary toiletries. The owners are really friendly and go out of their way to be helpful - we were attending a wedding and were running late so they arranged for our room keys to get to us at the venue which made a massive difference to us.

We were in the attic room which takes a bit of getting used to ducking where the ceiling is lower! If you had mobility issues the stairs up to this room wouldn’t be suitable.

I've stayed at Albert House a few times over the last two years and each time I've been received with the warmest welcome by Jeff and Sue. They really are masters of attention to detail and do make you feel very much at home during your stay with excellent breakfast service too. The rooms are super comfortable and location is just a stone's through away from the high street which is great! I will definitely be staying again soon!

Having stayed on four separate occasions whilst working in the area, I can honestly say it's one of the best B&B'S I have ever stayed at. Right from the warm welcome from Sue & Jeff, the luxurious rooms (spotless!), the fantastic breakfast and peaceful location. I would definitely stay again whether its for work or in my own time.

My colleague and I stayed at Albert House as we were working in the area. We stopped for 3 nights and couldn't be happier with the experience. The owners Jeff and Sue were lovely. Jeff went out of his way to make us feel welcome and as we had very early starts on two of the days food was prepared for us to take with us, which was above and beyond and really appreciated. We made breakfast on the last day as it was our day to travel home and it was set in a beautiful dining room and the food was very good. The decor of the rooms have a wow factor and it's refreshing to stay somewhere with character and personality, run by people who are passionate about delivering a great service. We'll be booking a stay there next time we go up to Brigg.

Once in a while you stumble upon a gem like this. It is an old characteristic buidling in the middle of Brigg. Extremely well maintained and decorated tastefully. The overall attention to detail is carried on to the service aswell. Jeff and Sue were very friendly and I felt everything was possible. I have therefore hardly anything to complain about. If there was something I was unhappy with, it would have been resolved anyways. I just booked the double room. High ceilings, beautifull antique furniture, spotless bathroom and the bed was very comfy and soft. I stayed alone and for one day, but I believe this is perfect for an familie or for a couple, especially to stay multiple days. Whenever I am in the area, I will most defenitely book again. What an amazing place to spend a few days while visiting family in Brigg. Immaculate rooms and breakfast, and the owners Sue and Jeff are such wonderful hosts. There are only positive things I can say about my stay at Albert House. I'll be coming back that's for certain, the place and welcome are top class.
