We stayed for one night and it was fantastic. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The location is great for exploring the South side of the Humber Bridge and our room had a view of the estuary which was lovely. Facilities in the room were great and included a nespresso coffee machine and loads of pods to try as well as a kettle and plenty of tea bags. The en suite shower room was small but spotlessly clean, it felt brand new. The pub prides itself on its food and it is right to- it was amazing. We booked in for dinner, the Whitby white crab on a crumpet was one of the best things I’ve eaten and the bouillabaisse was absolutely delicious as well. We decided to pay for a cooked breakfast but probably needn’t have as the continental which is included was excellent and included home made cinnamon buns which we took home in a box as we were too full from our lovely fry-up.
We found the mattress in the room quite soft and slightly uncomfortable and also the water temperature in the en-suite was hard to get right but these were only small points and did not spoil our stay. Still a 10/10!

Excellent, friendly, helpful staff. Dog friendly. Very clean. Some of the food. Homemade, high quality and a bit different. Cool room.
Untidy, dirty looking, drive in area. Not a great impression! Expensive for a “pub” and £60 for the 2x dogs for 3x nights. Food was a bit different and obviously high quality but the “continental breakfast” was bit of a letdown. Had to pay extra for cooked etc . E,g £14 for an excellent Eggs Benedict. Very steep stairs! Need a guard rail on the part which “turns” or curves” .

There was nothing I didn't like. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The bedroom was comfortable with a modern bathroom with a proper shower cubicle (which is always a plus for me - I can't stand showers that are in the bath). There was a huge balcony which looked over the Humber. Not the weather this time but in summer it would be a very relaxing spot. Having said all that the best thing was the food and the attention to detail / presentation. Fabulous!!! Evening meal and continental breakfast amazing 😍

Amazing setting and lovely breakfast. Nice touch was an ice bucket in the room so we could enjoy a glass of wine as the pub was closed. The views from the room were exceptional as directly look out onto wetlands so great for birdwatching. When we expressed our dismay about the pub and restaurant being closed we were kindly offered the opportunity to change our booking to another night, but as we were on a road trip this wasn't possible. Much appreciated however.
Information about restaurant and pub being closed on the night we stayed was not clear when booking through booking.com so we found ourselves without any access to local places as all seemed to be closed that night. On hotel website it was clear but we would expect this on the booking.com website too.

Very nice location and freindly staff, Dinner was nice but expensive,
The breakfast was not very nice as only continental, The website said breakfast included by could only have what they set up for us Everything else was at an additional cost so was not clear on the booking. There were at leat 8 different comfirmations both before and after we left which is ridiculous and not necessary

Nicely sea themed rooms fitting to the environment of the river Humber. Quiet location with welcoming staff & clean well equipped rooms. I booked in late and stayed for dinner in the pub restaurant. The staff were very helpful. It was a gastro pub menu and was seafood heavy, appropriate for the venue, but there was only one vege option- vege burger & chips - which arrived without any form of garnish or salad, so looked bear on the plate, and lacking in greens for a vege! I ordered an extra salad, a large glass of white, and paid £32.50….. a bit pricey I felt! The bed was super comfy, although the room was a little chilly for the first frosty night of the season.
As above.

The room was large, very clean and well furnished. We didn’t have a great view (cement works) though that didn’t matter as it was dark. The menu was excellent and food great. The atmosphere was good and wait staff good. We had the continental breakfast which was also very good
We found the chairs in the restaurant uncomfortable and after dinner would have like to sit in the bar but there are no comfortable chairs there either. This might be personal rather than a general issue as everything else was excellent

Friendly and welcoming staff. Fantastic food. Nice dining experience. Clean and tidy throughout. Wonderful view from balcony/terrace.
Could’ve made clearer at the point of booking that the “included” breakfast was not a cooked breakfast. It was nice, satisfactory (homemade granola, croissant and toast) but booking description could explicitly state “included” breakfast is limited to continental only.

The travel cot was excellent, it was clean, big and had a comfy mattress (which is rare!). The room was extremely spacious (great for our 8 month old to roll around and crawl in after a long journey) and had a Nespresso machine. We had a couple of additional requests which were met with no extra charge. The breakfast was presented beautifully in our room (we stayed on a Sunday which meant the restaurant was closed on Monday).
There wasn't really anything we didn't like. Maybe a fridge/iron in the room would be handy as there is enough room to have these things but really just a helpful tip as it didn't affect our stay at all. For some the view may dampen their stay as the cement factory is nearby but again, this didn't affect our trip and it wasn't noisy... the area is very quiet and calm.

Loved the location, the view over the River Humber was a bonus and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had one evening meal and the food was delicious. Included continental breakfast was also very tasty. The room was very thoughtfully equipped , comfy and clean.
We liked everything!
