I checked in on a Sunday, so I met Lee (friendly). After that, I used the back door, so I was able to come and go as needed. I stayed 3 nights. The room was nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and really nice looking, too. Kettle and plenty of coffee/tea, etc, in the room. The porridge pots were great (thank you). The bathroom was nice, and it was an excellent shower. I felt completely ok as a single travellor. I ate in the restaurant on Sunday night, which was nice. It's a lovely dining room, and I felt ok dining on my own. Staff nice etc. The coop is nearby, cafe up the road if you want a full breakfast if not available in house. Barton is nice enough to walk around and explore. I really like Barton. I've stayed here before. It was even better this time. Would definitely stay again. Very handy free car park opposite.

I liked everything. There is road noise early in the early morning due to its location near humber bridge, but for me, the plusses completely outlweigh this.

Stayed one night, location was perfect, rooms clean and smelt very fresh and a good size, everything you need for an over night stay, bonus points for the shower so powerful and the room had a hair drier so I needn't have bothered bringing mine from home. We didn't go into the restaurant this time, but we are already looking to book another room here so will definitely try the restaurant this time.

Arrived early and the restaurant was closed so had to call the number on the door which took a while to get hold of someone, once we did establish contact I was met by a very helpful chef who showed me to my room.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting family. Nice little place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Easy access through the side door, and handily right in the middle of Barton. Lovely restaurant and great food.

We didn't really see or interact with any staff, so made it a bit tricky to know who to go to for things. Also with all the photos of the restaurant, we hadn't realised there wasn't breakfast (but our bad) - there were porridge pots and tea/coffee in the room though, and both the co-op and a morning roll shop just round the corner. Our coffee wasn't refilled the second day and dirty cups not taken etc. Could only get a table in the restaurant fairly late, which wasn't ideal with a small child, so I recommend booking in advance. But small niggles really.

From the moment we arrived, we were emersed in a world of pure imagination. The decor is great, staff are friendly and professional plus the food is on another level, beautifully presented, sizable portion sizes and very reasonably priced. We also stayed in the accommodation, which was perfect for the one night we were there.

Our only criticism is that the double bed in our room (number 8) was not particularly comfy (springs had seen better days). However, it was perfectly usable and for one night was not an issue for us.

I had a few missed calls from the property, as they were trying to tell me my room choice wasn't available. Sadly, I didn't pick up the calls and only found that out upon arrival. No matter, as the kind host provided a second room for convenience. We were both impressed with the lovely furnishings and good service provided. Would choose this place again if we are south of the Humber again in the future. Recommended!

Very friendly staff, a lovely clean room. Great location, a Co-Op next door, a pub across the road, and probably 10 places to eat within 150m. Lots of free parking close by. The entrance initially is through the restaurant.

I couldn't find the entrance, but after that, everything was great!

This is a lovely place to stay, very clean and tidy and very comfortable. The staff were all lovely, the best. I would definitely recommend a stay here. The location is perfect also.

The only things I would recommend that could improve the stay are... please put fans in the rooms, we stayed when the weather is warm and it was very hot, we would have loved to have a fan. Also, maybe place a mini fridge in the rooms, we would've like to keep our bottled waters cold.

The room is decorated lovely. Beds was super comfy and the rainfall shower was fantastic. The price of the room was extremely good value communications were quick and easy. Highly recommend the restaurant. Friendly and very helpful staff. Close to all shops, restaurants, take aways. Great bus links to Hull and Scunthorpe.

Absolutely nothing.

Location great. No parking directly for the property but free parking literally over the road. The room was nice and the bed really comfy. Price is room only with breakfast extra (in the restaurant downstairs). Breakfast choice is great and the food lovely! Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Windows/skylights could do with a good clean.

Great location close to shops, restaurants and bars. Easy commuting distance to Killingholme. The onsite restaurant serves excellent food and I recommend all to try.

Small table in rooms for laptop use etc. Some furnishings are a little dated on my second visit but ok.
