The hotel is average, everywhere seemed clean and tidy with sufficient appliances. We stayed in a room for 3 though so the sofa bed was pulled out and this made the room extremely cramped and prevented us being able to get to the window. The staff are friendly and the location is great.

The breakfast service was very disorganised. We stayed for 2 nights so this wasn’t just a one off it happened both mornings. Different foods would run out (sausages / bacon) whilst others were available so you couldn’t have a full breakfast without sitting and waiting for the missing items to be topped up. When the food arrived it was obvious that they had been rushed so they looked really undercooked but the hash browns looked like they had been incinerated. This was on both days.

Great location, really comfortable room, spacious, very clean. Great choice of food at breakfast. Staff were great, informative & helpful. Luggage storage which was an added bonus as checked out at 12 but train not till 2 therefore could do a bit of shopping without trailing cases around with us.

The only point was at breakfast, it was busy and there just wasn't enough tables available. I would imagine midweek it would be absolutely fine but not at a weekend. Staff were great in saying there was another area but it wasn't clear ly signed, the staff were so busy, trying to clear tables, replenish food. I would have liked a couple of veggie options, vegetarian sausage,maybe? But for the price, can't complain.

Room was spacious, clean and had a reasonable amount of plug sockets. Bathroom door could be used in two ways which was great for privacy. The reception team were fantastic and were happy to help when I mentioned the other people on the booking were going to arrive late.

The parking is shared with St Stephens which due to its location makes a lot of sense, however this also comes with some issues as its shared with the shoppers and therefore getting parking close to the hotel can be a little difficult. The breakfast was okay, not poor, but not amazing. Definitely need larger glasses for water and juice!

Clear instructions prior to arrival made for easy parking and speedy check-in. We'd booked our overnight stay in conjunction with a visit to Hull Truck Theatre; the hotel was so convenient - literally next door! The bar staff afterwards were really friendly, and the spacious bar area was great for after-show drinks. Our 7th floor room offered a spectacular view, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable! Loved the large shower, too. The free breakfast was a real bonus, providing up to 3 courses, with plenty of choice, including gluten-free options and fresh fruit.The late checkout meant we could take our time before setting off. The whole experience was so great, we can't wait to come back!

Everything was great.

The hotel was great, quiet, the room was nicely decorated, comfy and warm. Everything worked well. It's ideally located.

The breakfast wasn't amazing but it was as expected, I still enjoyed it and loved that it was automatically included in your stay. When I came to leaving the car park the ticket the receptionist gave me wouldn't work at the gate and the machine asked me to pay (I'd already paid). When I went back to the hotel they told me to go back and call them on the machine at the gate. Which seemed counter intuitive, luckily I'd taken a photo of my reg plate when I went back to the hotel (it was a hire car) and they just put that in and the gate let me out fine when I tried leaving again. I don't know how I would have proved if I'd paid if I used the machine to ring the parking company.

The staff were absolutely incredible - Jack and the lady on reception were friendly, helpful and really attentive and Jamie, in the morning at breakfast, was just wonderful The room was really clean and had everything we needed. We were there with our young daughters - they checked before if we needed a cot and bed and changed the room to accommodate - superb service and the staff were so kind with our kids. Loved that the reasonably priced parking (£9/24 hours) was right outside the door of the hotel. The breakfast was beautiful - the hot food was hot, tasty and plentiful and the options were so varied. Jamie took the time to show my 5 year old the pancake machine which she was a big fan of! Thank you to all!

Very comfortable hotel. Staff were excellent and facilities great. Arrived early and, as I was meeting friends who were also staying there, staff told us we could wait for them in the large reception area and help ourselves to hot drinks. As I am Coeliac, at breakfast I enquired about gluten free options. James, a staff member, was excellent and showed me cereals and bread with a toaster only for use with gluten free bread. He then asked if I would like GF sausages - and cooked a number of these and insisted I take any spares with me for my lunch! Great service and thank you James.

Room spotlessly clean, beds very comfy excellent location few yards from train/bus station,shops and theatres. Nice breakfast. Late checkout a real bonus. Excellent value for money

We arrived at the hotel quite late at night very tired after a coach trip, bit of a wait to check in.Also, the reception is on the first floor, if like us you've used public transport, you have to go through an unmanned lobby then take the lift. Then take the lift again to get to your room. The unmanned lobby could be a little unnerving late at night having to use the lift twice with heavy suitcases a bit annoying especially as if you drive the car park is on the same level as reception Non of this would stop us using this hotel again though

After a bad experience with Holiday Inns some years ago, I vowed never to stay in one again. However, a family member was visiting for a very short time and we needed to stay as near to the station as possible, so I bit the bullet. I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with a wide choice of items (particularly the sausages). The staff, particularly Jamie, were friendly, helpful and kind.

The location of the bathroom light switch in the disabled facilities room could have been better but it was a very minor issue.

We stayed for 2 nights before and after a coach trip. The day staff were very friendly and helpful, the room very clean, beds comfy air conditioner worked perfectly which is a bonus, the hotel is excellent value for money price includes breakfast. The location is perfect short walk from coach and train station, City centre and theatres Also the 12pm check out is a huge bonus

Reception is on the first floor so going into an unmanned Lobby could be a bit disconcerting late at night, it also means getting in the lift with bags/ suite cases to get/return keys then back Iin the lift to get to your room annoying when you have a coach or train to catch There are no plug/ phone chargers near the bed which we found a bit inconvenient All of this said the hotel is excellent value for money we've already re booked
