Fantastic staff could not have been more pleasant and helpfull, parking brill , Hotel spotless REALLY FIRST CLASS STAY will definalltly be staying again soon will strongly recommend

The lights in the corridor kept coming on all night and it lit the room up as there was a big gap under the door

Hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel put on a bus to the Coldplay concert in Hull as they had a number of people staying at the hotel who were going to the concert. Although there was an extra charge for the bus I thought that it was very considerate of the hotel to provide the bus. Bar prices were very reasonable as well. Two drinks for a fiver very good.

Breakfast could have been better. No cereal was provided. When I enquired about this I was offered some cornflakes. Would have been better if cereal was provided as part of the breakfast experience. Also breakfast items were left on warming plates and consequently some items were only luke warm due to being left on the warming plate for a while.

The room was clean and the beds comfy which is what you want. Some booming noise late evening but didn't stop us from getting a goodnights sleep. Staff were friendly and polite. I work in hospitality myself and would advise the hotel to put fitted protectors on the mattresses to help avoid staining. As my Mums mattress had a blood stain on which was covered up with a sheet folded, not ideal! I definitely would book again as the position was handy for all local amenities. Every thing was good, apart from not being clear on the private parking available, and it was a bit off putting when going into the car park as it was rather scruffy, uninviting and small.

Central Location, stayed as we were going to the Coldplay Concert, Hotel emailed a few days before to offer the services of a shuttle bus to and from the Concert, which was amazing as walking would have taken an hour and a half. They made sure everyone was well looked after with food and drinks after the concert too. Would definitely recommend if staying in Hull

Price was a little more than what we would normally pay for one night, but given the concert was on, you'd expect prices to be slightly higher (but not at all extortionate), room was basic for a King

Location for Hull centre is excellent. Free carpark is a bonus. Hotel and room were very clean and room tastefully decorated. Bar prices were very cheap. All staff (receptionist, barman, cleaner & manager] were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value. This is now our 1st choice hotel when visiting family and friends in Hull.

Unfortunately there were building works on the property opposite, which was a little noisy in the mornings.

Great location. Comfortable spacious room (209) don’t ask for 103, tiny, we asked to be moved. Decent bar, affordable prices. Parking out the back. Nick - the only member of staff for 90% of our stay. He worked his socks off

Only 2 pillows (thin) provided. Nick got us more. No bedside table on my side of bed. Lose the wardrobe and go premier inn style hanging and there would be space.

Excellent location within Hull city centre. Air conditioning was a huge plus to keep my room cool at night over the warm weekend that I visited. Free parking for full stay was a huge benefit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fairly quiet location.

The shower was pitiful, not a proper shower head but a handheld one which did not create much of a flow. My room was not serviced the day after my arrival and I had to ask for clean towels at reception. Window cleaners were making noise early on a Sunday.

Good location central to main town and Old Town and a short stroll from the train station. The staff were very friendly and obliging. Breakfast was an excellent English style meal.

Smokers had their cigarettes outside the bar area at the front of the building and the cigarette smell wafted back into the inside area.

Location excellent - not too far from station and especially for where we wanted to visit. Rooms very clean, quiet+ very comfortable; even single room was good size.

No food available contrary to website info. Signage to reception could have been better esp when first arriving. Over sized bar. Not drinking water at sinks - but bottled water was provided. Check out could have been friendlier - lady just took keys + said thank you.
