The Full English breakfast was freshly cooked, and was excellent, and very well presented. The location is perfect for me when visiting family in Barrow on an overnight as it is just a five minute drive, and very quiet at night. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very good value for money, and a very warm welcome on arrival, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

To be honest, the room was a little bit tired looking, but was clean, neat and tidy, as stated above. Although it was quite compact, for my overnight stay it was perfect.

We booked a double room with our dog for an overnight stay. On arrival Joe the landlord was very welcoming, advising me that as we have a dog we'd been put in a budget room, but that if anything was missing then to please let them know. Linda the landlady also reiterated this when I passed her in the corridor. The room was comfortable, clean and warm and had everything that we needed. We'd booked a table in the bar with the dog, we were very well looked after and the food and service were exceptional. We'd definitely return! Many thanks Linda, Joe and your lovely team for such a great welcome.

Nothing to complain about. Yes the room was a budget room - perfectly understandable as we had our dog - but it was more than adequate.

The Haven Inn was a lovely place to stay, with the rooms being very cosy. The bed were comfy and there was tea and coffee in the rooms, which was lovely for the morning. There was a little tv also, with lots of channels to choose from. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wedding in Barton Upon Humber and we struggled to get a taxi, so the staff very kindly offered to take us to the wedding venue themselves.

There wasn’t any toiletries in the room, so you would need to bring some yourself. There wasn’t a hairdryer in our room, but there was one available on request. The shower in our room was a little small, but it didn’t impact our stay. We booked two other rooms and their showers were a little bigger, so it depends which room you are in.

Owners were very welcoming and made everything to make my stay enjoyable. the staff that work there were exceptionally helpful and polite and could not do enough for myself and other customers. The room was recently renovated and was to a good standard and clean, TV with all the apps on it.

The bar/restaurant hours were slightly short compared to normal bar/restaurant hours as only open until 7.30pm/8.00pm, but owners made me well aware when i arrived so that i could make sure i got food and drink in time before closing :).

Very friendly & helpful staff, quirky old building but modern , very clean room. Great food, enjoyed an evening meal & breakfast. There were ‘no frills’ in the room such as toiletries but as these are often wasted or simply taken home by guests plus you could ask staff for anything you needed, I didn’t see this as a negative. It was very good value for money.

Our room didn’t have a wardrobe/cupboard to hang clothes but as we were only staying overnight it wasn’t a massive problem.

Second stay, elected again from a positive previous customer experience. As always staff very welcoming and attentive, flexible as necessary for guests needs. Food was great, with breakfast included, with staff accommodating mine and other guests needs for an earlier start to service, a very much appreciated act of adaptability. Ongoing contract in the area so will definitely return to the Haven Inn on future occasions as my go to accommodation.

The staff made us very welcome and the evening meal and breakfast were excellent. In fairness we used the hotel as staging point during our trip home from a week in North Lancashire. Very quiet and peaceful. We were certainly use this hotel again to explore more of Lincolnshire.

Could have done with a direction sign on the main roads leading to the hotel.

Our second stay at this lovely Inn. Joe and Lindy are the perfect hosts - friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. With temperatures of minus 5 outside the room and all the public areas were cosy and warm. Both the breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Must give a special mention to Mandy behind the bar who was so much fun!

Hosts Jo and Lindy were very welcoming and eager to please and made us feel very much at home. We arrived in the evening and there were lots of locals eating - we saw some of the food as we walked through the bar and instantly wished we had not eaten in Hull, but had waited until we had checked in! Our bedroom, all public areas including the bars, conservatory and eating areas were all exceptionally clean and well kept. We knew the room would be on the small side, but it was comfortable, well furnished and decorated in a simple and tasteful manner - no garish wallpaper or eye-watering patterns. It was restful and quiet and the window opened fully with a view of the reed beds. The curtains were effective in keeping out the light and enabling us to sleep longer in the morning. Breakfast was included in the price and we had the full English breakfast option, which was cooked to our order and there was plentiful tea and coffee. We thought it was very good value for money. So much so we decided to stay another night! We had supper on the second night and while the menu is not extensive, it is all freshly cooked and came to the table piping hot. The waiting staff were attentive and personable and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere as the hosts took pains to chat with customers (locals and guests) alike. We will definitely be staying at the Haven Inn again!

There was nothing we didn't like. There were no silly frills such as free toiletries or pens but all the essentials were supplied such as little jars of tea, sugar and coffee and supplies of milk together with a decent-sized electric kettle and 2 nice big mugs.

The breakfast was excellent but may be a continental would be good too. Joe & Lindy made us feel so welcome it was as if we had known them for years also the rest of the staff were very polite &friendly. The evening meals were very good too, plenty of food and always hot and beautifully cooked. Nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be going back.

The weather (unfortunately out of your control). The room was a little noisy from passing footfall but should be expected from an old coach house.
