Room (4) was huge, bed massive and very clean. Fresh milk in the fridge for tea/coffee. Bathroom very nice. Room was beautifully furnished. Small carpark although we got a space. Small beer garden, which was lovely to have a drink in the sun. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked by the chef (who came out and talked to us for ages). Sausage for our dog. Morning staff were both 10/10 for helpfullness, friendliness.

The room was noisy with some kind of fan/AC coming on and off all night very close to our room. Every time you got to sleep it changed to either on or off and woke you up. The room was VERY hot. It was a very big room/bathroom and had one tiny window which we had open as far as we could. There was a fan provided, which helped. On a Sunday food is only served until 7pm which was too early for us. However they did provide us with plates and cutlery so we could get a takeaway.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and well presented with a good bathroom and comfortable beds. The breakfast on Sunday was greshly cooked and excellent while the alternative we were offered on Saturday morning was very good. The hotel has a very good town centre location with all the town's amenities in an easy walk. Though the car park is small, there is plenty of free on street parking very close by.

The room was noisy as it overlooked a main road, there was no double glazing or net curtains. The weekend breakfast starts quite late at 0900 which was inconvenient for us with our commitments. However, I would happily stay there again.

I was met by a lovely lady who was extremely helpful and attentive. The property has a nice feel to it and if you like to be in the middle of the town, this was the place. The room was very nice, clean and well supplied with Coffee/Tea making facilities. Breakfast choices were good and well prepared.

It was very noisy with road traffic. Lots of Trucks passing by the room, late into the night, which really did disturb my sleep somewhat. A very late check-in time (4pm) which was ok, but I would have preferred something nearer to 2pm, to allow me to check-in, unload luggage, get changed and out for the rest of the day. I had to break off what I was doing to go back and check-in, which I found disruptive to my stay in Barton. A bit difficult to find your way out of the building to get to the dining room in the morning. I had to go through a fire escape and down quite wet stairs, which wasn't ideal.

Front of house staff were friendly efficient and respectful-including the fair haired housekeeper. Nothing was too much trouble. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the main bedroom had a fridge for fresh milk which was perfect for morning tea. Excellent lunch and dinner meals. A popular place with the locals.

En suite needed freshening up and maintenance on the property was showing signs of wear however I believe this is an old property which is part of its charm and character. The hot water does take time to come through to the bathroom but the knack is to run the hot tap in the bath first-a sign would help guests. The long curtains on the main bedroom window blocked the heat so we rested them on the window sill to aid air flow.

This is a typical English pub with accommodations upstairs. It's a great pub with good beer and drinks choices and good food. The rooms are nice, with ensuite bathrooms and the usual amenities. Breakfast was an added bonus for us and was a lot more than expected; they have a menu with several choices as well as the usual cereal and bread/pastry options. Overall this was a great stay for us and will stay there again when next in Barton. I have family there so visit once a year at least.

Due to this being a smaller village the pub closes at 10pm Monday thru Thursday rather than the more common 11pm.

Lovely clean room, amazing bed, the best I have slept in so far and having recently struggled sleeping I slept so well here, I need to know where the pillows are from too, they were luxuriously. The following morning I was in a rush so opted for a breakfast to go, good quality sausages in my sandwich which was made by a very polite and friendly chef, I will definitely be returning here, thank you for a wonderful stay.

No hot water from the shower, so had a cold shower, bathroom door doesn't close room 3.

The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Our room was amazing! A king sized bed and two singles beautifully presented and comfortable. Very spacious, we even had a settee!! Bathroom large and modern and completely clean as was the whole room. Iron and ironing board in wardrobe, fridge with milk and water and tea and coffee making facilities. Also fantastic breakfast included in price. Could not have hoped for more. Many thanks to the George Inn Barton-upon-Humber.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

The service was excellent - welcoming, friendly and professional. Particularly the gentleman behind the bar who welcomed us and showed us to our room. He took time to explain how everything worked. Also offered advice when we were choosing our evening meal and drinks. Also the gentleman who served us breakfast was professional and polite. Both were very customer focused. Apologies as I didn’t catch either of their names. Also the food was delicious. Can recommend the halloumi starter. The cooked breakfast (included in our price) was also excellent.

This is a very busy establishment and I was made very welcome on arrival despite the staff being hard pressed in a busy Friday night bar. The food is cooked to order and is excellent. Special mention must go to the Dog Menu, which provides high quality, beautifully presented food in special pottery bowls. My two Border Collies clearly relished their sausage and mash and chicken casserole. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The welcome folder has all the information one needs and for those so minded the TV will pick up subscriptions such as BBC iPlayer and Amazon Prime. I was only able to get to breakfast on one day and that was also cooked to order by a very welcoming and chatty chef. I would definitely like to visit again.

I have no complaints. Parking is a bit tight, but that can't be helped and if one is prepared to wait until a little later the car can be moved once a space is available. There is ample public parking nearby.

Lovely welcoming place to stay. The room was amazing with a lovely comfortable bed and we had two great nights sleep. We specifically chose this place as it was Dog Friendly, and it certainly was that! A dog bed, treats, water bowl and a ball we're provided and the wooden floors are an excellent idea for muddy paws and little accidents! The food was exceptional, Head Chef Pete runs an amazing kitchen. Breakfast included a traditional full English or some lighter alternatives which was a pleasant surprise. Dinner was just as yummy and lived up to the Restaurant of the Year expectations. The staff were all brilliant, friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

It's only personal choice but as we couldn't take the dog in the main restaurant which is understandable, we ate in the bar / lounge area. This wasn't a problem at Breakfast however in the evening when the pub is busier and the music fairly loud, there wasn't any quiter spaces to eat.
