Just got home from a wonderful stay at Eastdale bed and breakfast in North Ferriby. We travel a lot and this is one of the nicest B&Bs we have stayed at. Liz and Paul were there to greet us on the driveway, (communicating an ETA beforehand), as we arrived and were very warm and friendly from the off, showing us our rooms and getting our breakfast order in early doors, before bringing up fresh tea, coffee and flapjack up to us upon arrival which was a lovely homely touch. The rooms were both cosy and spacious and to quote my girlfriend "You can tell a female has designed the layout of this room", As a male I'm not sure what she means by this. 😉 There was also a stunning garden which we admired from the conservatory in the morning. The room has lots of coffee and tea options along with cookies, also a mini fridge in the twin bedroom which was pre-stocked with fresh milk. The bed and pillows were very comfortable for a peaceful night's sleep. We booked this B&B as we were attending the 1st night Hull Coldplay gig and it was only a short taxi ride into the city, we ate at Ambiente tapas down by the dock which we highly recommend. The next morning we went down for breakfast which included yoghurt and granola, Cereals, toast, tea, coffee, orange juice and a cooked breakfast of your choice which was delicious and Liz was there to offer us top-ups but we were all too full. All in all, we couldn't fault our stay other than we wished we'd spent longer there as we had to dash straight out. Will recommend to friends and family if they visit the area. What a treat! I was greeted by Liz, the lovely host who showed me to my room and brought up coffee and cake - which was most welcome as well as being delicious. My room was perfect and had everything I needed. Decor and finish throughout were exceptional. I had work to do but didn't start it for a few hours as I was so relaxed. I slept better than I have in years and came down to the most delicious breakfast - far superior to any offering in the usual hotels. Liz is the most friendly host and I'd definitely stay again when in the area and would encourage others to do so. Thank you to Liz and Paul for a lovely stay - thoroughly enjoyable.

Nothing - perfectly happy.

This was our third time booking and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Liz and Paul were fantastic hosts. We booked the king room again and it was spotless. Really comfortable bed, room temperature was spot on. On arrival Liz made us tea and biscuits which is a beautiful touch! She also left us some water in our room. Room has a tv, has Wi-Fi, bathroom was lovely with a walk in shower which was brilliant. Really good water temperature. We always love staying at Eastdale Bed and breakfast. This was such a great find, it was difficult to get accommodation in this area but we were so fortunate to have found Eastdale. It was wonderful. Liz is an exceptional hostess so warm and welcoming. Her standards are high and the B&B is immaculate. Liz loves looking after her guests and this really shows. Such comfy bed, luxury towels and linens. Breakfast was delicious and so much choice ilcuding a delightful view of the garden. Even our bicycles had their own private space too! Thank you Liz this was a highlight on our Trans Pennine Trail, even arranging for the bus stop right outside your house!

The rooms were absolutely spotless. We were welcomed by our host who immediately put the kettle on and made a cup of tea. Our host Liz was lovely very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. I would highly recommend it. Everywhere was beautifully festive.

The only problem we had was that we were too warm. We did turn the heating off which made the difference. This is probably our choice rather than a complaint.

This little gem was one of the best b&b's I've ever stayed in. The reviews were good when I was looking to book last year so I thought I would give it a try, and I'm really glad I did. Liz was the perfect host and nothing was a problem. The bedroom was immaculate as well as the bathroom. And to top it off the breakfast was out of this world, well presented and very tasty. I would definitely book again if I was in the area. I can guarantee nobody would be disappointed if they book a stay there. Well done Liz for a perfect establishment.

Excellent food - especially the mixed berries! Dining room delightful.

My 'over the garage' room is very compact and does not have room for a chair, which means you have to sit/lie on the bed to read or watch TV. But overall this small gripe is far outweighed by the overall excellence and friendliness.

Had a lovely few days at Eastdale with my Nan, and would definitely stay again , The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, very well furnished and equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Very comfortable beds, very good breakfast with range of options to suit. Great suggestions of where to go if not familiar with the area. Liz is a very very good host, makes you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive , feels like staying home from home. Would highly recommend. Thankyou

Eastdale was absolutely spotless and Liz was the most welcoming host. The breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Freshly prepared and plenty of it. The rooms were immaculate with extras such as bottled water, milk and biscuits which were great additions. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms had black out blinds, my quality of sleep was excellent. Would absolutely recommend.

Nothing….everything was perfect.

This is probably the best bed and breakfast I have stayed in. From the communication at the time of booking to the friendly welcome on arrival complete with a freshly made pot of tea, Liz was an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble, the room immaculate, comfortable, warm and tastefully decorated. Liz and Paul had thought of everything including a torch and light- up alarm clock in the room! Loved the breakfast and garden view from the dining room.
