Excellent pub accommodation - very friendly and attentive staff ( Mandy) who were very accommodating when my plans changed at the last minute Superb spacious room very comfy beds large modern bathroom with ample towels and toiletries Wifi Tv and tea/coffee facilities ( and biscuits) On street ( very safe ) parking Great pub and very friendly locals

Not a critisism - but Kitchen was undergoing a full refurb so no food available Took me a while to get an Uber as the pub is quite rural

Very clean and comfortable room with excellent en suite shower. Although facing a main road, it was very quiet (even with the window open all night). Although the rooms are above a pub, there was zero noise at all, which was a great relief!

Shame the car park was cordoned off so parking is on the road outside, which seemed unnecessary when they have their own car park. But there was space to park leave my car there so it wasn’t a problem. For the price I do feel they could include a simple continental buffet breakfast, which wouldn’t involve any cooking.

This is a room-only venue, which was perfect for us. Spacious, comfy and clean. No breakfast, but the garden centre in Gilberdyke served breakfast, which was great. There is a bar downstairs and seating outside.

It is situated on a reasonably busy road during the day, so there was a bit of traffic noise.

Mandy was very helpful let us leave our bags early as we were going to a wedding. Also arrange for a taxi to take us and pick us up.

Nothing clean and comfortable. There was tea coffee and biscuits . Nice bedding and towels .No breakfast but kitchen was being refurbished so we knew that.

Facilities were excellent. Loved the bed very comfy. Plenty of room for solo person. Shower great and very hot. Above the pub so could hear little noise but quiet after closing time.. room was spotless and power points close to mirror! Would definitely stay here again..p

No breakfast available.. one cafe close by but quite expensive. Being small village could find anywhere close by.

Lovely room with good facilities at a great price

It was a really hot day so we slept with the windows open and the traffic in this large village seemed to start about 4am. It was noisy. If we'd had the windows shut it would have been fine. Shame there isn't a breakfast option, but there are options in the village and we knew that when we booked .

The staff were lovely on arrival which really eased us. We were only staying for one night as a quick stop, however the room was lovely. The bed was so comfortable, tea coffee and biscuits left for us too! Couldn’t recommend this place more.

This is a lovely place but unfortunately there is nowhere to get breakfast. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Very quiet being a village but lovely walks. Room was spacious and warm and bed very comfy.

Brilliant place to put your head down ,really clean, staff so attentive. 100% stay again , lovely room,really helpful, pub so nice loved it only downfall is not a chance for taxis but that does not reflect on this place 😀 real comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Perfect set up for coming and going 👌

The bed was so comfy! Coffee and tea provided. Body wash and hair wash included. Everything was clean and tidy. Warm welcome. Friendly staff and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in
