Great location and quick transfer to the MKM for the rugby. Free parking on a weekend for everyone. Checking in later in the day was seamless and the staff really helpful. The bar wasn’t crowded and it was easy to get served. 2 members of staff stood out from the rest, for their excellent service Callum who checked me in and Harry the nights manager were simply the best staff they had on that evening. Harry in particular was outstanding with his attention to detail and customers, great customer interaction and even though other staff should have been overseeing the bar, he was quick to step in and help customers.

The food menu is very limited, very sports bar and aimed at something that comes with chips. It would be nicer if they had and actual restaurant rather than just the sports bar.

The staff were lovely. In fact the star when I arrived were more than happy to help, the bar staff were friendly and gave good ideas on what to do in the area. The facilities were great, in fact I left my phone in the gym changing room and someone handed it in. The staff were going to try and find me but I turned up quite quickly. Its a distinctive phone case so easily recognisable. The room was clean and larger than average.

The breakfast. First of all when arriving for breakfast on both days they just said "sit anywhere you want" that's fine if there had been any clean tables. Both days the majority of the tables were not clean. On the second day in particular when we did find a clean table the tables around had not been cleared when we arrived and were still not cleared by the time we left. Secondly. I swear those scrambled eggs have never seen a chicken. Scrambled eggs are usually described as fluffy, not a sold gelatinous lump. I have made scrambled eggs countless times and I have never managed to get them to come out as bad as that. Most hotels serve fried eggs because it is nicer with the sausage than scrambled but that would require a real egg.

The hotel is very clean staff are very friendly . The hotel has an indoor pool ,jacuzzi, steam room and sauna , which we enjoyed during our stay . We purchased a bottle of prosecco and paid £30 , we were informed by a lady who worked there that there was an offer on did we get the offer , we didn't however they honoured the £15 towards our food order which was very nice of them . Ian was very friendly and ensured this was honoured when ordering our food . Prior to ordering the prosecco I was able to taste it to ensure it was to my taste which was very nice touch . We had a lovely view of the Humber Bridge from our room . The room Had a big TV and a coffee machine along with a kettle hairdryer iron and ironing board. This was our first stay at Hull village we will be back again may even bring the children next time .

I reserved a table for our evening meal , however restaurant we're not Aware of this . However there was a table available for us .

Love the village hotel, straight off the main route into hull and you are there within minutes. It's nowhere near the town centre so do not book if you want to walk out and into the town...you would need a taxi. The staff are always super friendly (typical Hull folk), the bar is spacious but is more akin to a sports bar with TVs everywhere. Food is always good and reasonably priced. Parking is free and plentiful. I have used the gym and pool on previous stays, but not this time.

The bed was a little uncomfortable. It may be they have recently been refreshed/changed for new mattresses as previous stays have always been great.

Needed a break to relax and the village hotel is perfect for that. Its just far enough away from main hull that you could be forgiven for thinking you wer mma world away from. HULL!. But not so far as to cost too much travelling. The spa and fitness centre is everything we hoped it would be, £5 on top of room price is astounding for unlimited access to swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. I went with my friend as a girls weekend and 3njoyed the majority of time spent Definitely a 👍, one to be repeated at earliest opportunity!

The jacuzzi is quite small, the food in restaurant is pricey, the orange juice at breakfast was tasteless ,the breakfast could of been hotter,no designated place to collect knife and fork for breakfast, the batteries on tv remote need changing as remote wasn't working 100%

The property was great facility wise but very old style room fittings light switches and sockets ect

Had cobwebs from the dated brass GU10 ceiling lights, switches on the bed should head should access all lights in the The room as small and it was but 1 out of 3 only worked which was the reading lamps on the head board. Wasn’t sure if the bath was just stained or a muck mark ! But I did get chocolate on the white bed sheet !!! Which did apologise to the cleaner as leaving! Bathroom should have had non slip tiles but am picky because I am a site joiner that build and refurbish hotels for a living. The staff were brilliant and was made very welcome why stay and would go stay again.

I was there with my son and his girlfriend who were in a different room to me. It was a short stay to watch Swansea play football. There was a park and ride to the stadium within walking distance from the hotel. Very friendly staff, clean, very comfy beds! The breakfast was lovely and the meal we had in the evening was very nice. I’ve not stayed at a village hotel before but will now be looking to see if there is one near wherever I’m going in future.

It was very warm in the room and there was no way to control the temperature. I think that is the only negative.

Surprising good, for a random unplanned stay. Really comfy bed, super clean, good breakfast and decent bar food available every night until 21:30. Really pleasant staff. Free secure motorcycle parking in a well lit video secured car park. Extremely good value and close to a mega-super market and cheap fuel.

A little off the beaten track on an industrial estate outside Hull. Noisy early mornings (see above re:location)Also, the bathroom, although clean was a little tired.

Cleanliness

We found it hard to believe that there were no plugs by the bed to charge our mobile phones with There wasn't any decaf coffee or tea in the room and at breakfast the coffee machine only had normal coffee. For religious reasons we don't have caffeine so we were very disappointed that there wasn't an alternative to coffee in either the room nor the breakfast area The fire door opposite the room (406) makes a noise (when closing) like there's someone tapping on the room door so all night we were thinking someone was outside because obviously the door has to be used
