Very clean, close to everything, pleasant staff

The bed was not made when the cleaning staff came. I was surprised that we were charged $10 per night for parking. I think the parking should have been free considering that we were paying enough for the room and fees and taxes. I think that we should have been informed ahead of time that there would be a charge and not just spring it on us at check in.

A surprisingly nice place for a night (or more) in Steamboat Springs. Our room was quite spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. We got the last room at the end of a long hallway. Unfortunately, outside of our room were many of the AC placed, so it was a little noisy. The breakfast was not bad. They serve all the classics.

Breakfast was very good. The front desk personnel were very helpful. The head housekeeper was wonderful and solved a major problem by being innovative. All of the staff was most accommodating of our special needs. We really enjoyed sitting outside at night by the fire pit as we listened to the Fish Creek roar! Also the whirlpool was large . There was also a lift chair which was a god send as it allowed my son who is in a wheel chair to access the whirlpool.

The queen size sofa sleeper was horrific. The foam mattress was thin and the springs had no support and sank in the middle. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and not worthy of a Marriott Hotel. All of the spring mechanisms should be replaced and upgraded. All of the mattresses should be replaced and upgraded. I would contact manufacturer since these sofas are only 2 years old! I cannot imagine an adult sleeping on this especially after skiing or hiking ! Housekeeping moved us into a different unit but the problem was the same which they solved by removing the foam mattress and replacing it with a regular innerspring queen mattress. This did not allow for the sofa bed to be folded up but it was a very good TEMPORARY solution.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. There are beautiful hikes in the mountains nearby, and the center of town is not too far away. Breakfast was included in the price, and it was well-tended and very decent, including both hot and cold options, and fruit. It was run in a very professional manner. The room was large and comfortable, and it was very clean when we arrived. It included a kitchenette, and there were supplies available to do some in-room cooking.

The $10 parking fee seemed excessive, when we had already paid a fair amount for the room. Also, it would be great if the hotel had bicycles for rent on the premises.

The bar tender was so amazing, Michael; he was funny and sweet and so jovial. The main manager was super helpful, Ryan. He really helped me figure out town the first night I stayed. The room was nice and big and their laundry facilities were nice too.

Nothing it was an amazing stay.

Location was excellent--we could walk both to the ski village and the town. Facilities were clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool, hot tub and firepit were clean and well-maintained, although we didn't have time to use them. We would definitely stay here again!

The amenities were really well done (hot tub), etc., and service was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the updated, ready-to-use technology was excellent.

The carpeting was a little worn and frayed, but nothing unusually horrid.

Love the layout of the room. The rooms are well insulated- so very quiet. The pool and hot tub were clean- loved the large hot tub! Also a fire pit- bar area, and lobby area were clean and well put together. The breakfast was delicious! Will stay here again.

Nice and new: thoughtful design for a skiers’ base with ski storage, right by bus stop, nice lobby, good breakfast, good coffee, small bar. Our room was right next to elevator lobby and the sound proofing was excellent and we didn’t hear a thing from the hallway. Easy walk to Mexican restaurant.

Right next to a creek that provided great noise for sleeping.

A/C vent was right above the return air vent. Ended up keeping the windows open all the time to keep the room cool.
