Clean very well maintained. Super friendly staff and owner. Made great friends with the workers on signed job in the area as well as students from KSU that was staying there due to overflow from the University. Loved the salt water pool during the summer. Most best perfect stop if traveling through. Check out Linneys pizza just down the road for some delicious spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs. Best sauce ever. Hit up cliffside diner for the best burger in town and tbh everything on menu is amazing. The atmosphere the workers will make you laugh and feel as if you have known them forever. Main Street diner has some great breakfast as well. My man loved Shelby’s diner chili. I wasn’t a fan of it. I tried meatloaf and chicken and dumplings…too sweet for me. They have a lot of yummy looking deserts but I’m diabetic so…. Back to the hotel. It’s a must stay cheap clean they don’t bother you and are super friendly. Right off interstate and close to many great restaurants. Check out Ruth’s chocolates that’s right next door you won’t be disappointed.

I was on a solo cycling trip across the USA and needed a cheap hotel (2star) to match my budget. I had stayed in a few and knew what to expect …. Or so I thought … this hotel was by far the best ‘cheap hotel’ I had stayed in on my 1200 mile cycling trip and better, by far. I even had to ask the owner why it was only 2 Star !! The room was spotless and comfortable and not worn out and tired like other cheap hotels. There was even a pool and breakfast was substantial and good. I’ve given this hotel a 10 rating because it was such a surprise to get such value and the staff were polite and efficient. Nothing. It was great. Possibly location to choice of restaurants, but with a Car, only 2 mins away (I was on a bike remember)

Room was clean with no carpet which is a real plus. Night desk man helped when the door wouldn't open and transferred us to a new room in person while checking on the door which probably needed a new battery for the door lock.

Breakfast was lackng even for continental didn't even have sugar free syrup for the only warm food which was waffles and coffee was overly strong. Location was convenient but close to main road so a little noisy until later in the night. Beds were comfortable but made noise every time you sat on them or got off.

Though the facility is rather dated, it was well maintained and clean. Understand that the facility did offer a standard breakfast during standard hours of 6 to 9 am. Unfortunately, I had to be on the road prior to the breakfast being available. The location was near other amenities, i.e. restaurants and shopping. Location was centrally located for my regional adventure.

It was about a mile and a half drive to the nearest Starbucks.

Clean, room, comfortable beds, breakfast. Pool looked very nice, but we did not have time to use it. Surprisingly the room had a nice size fridge and we had no noise issues. The air conditioner was a wall unit but that white noise helps us sleep anyway. Plenty of free parking and the neighborhood felt safe. It is conveniently located near 4 distilleries.

The waffle maker was out of order but no other complaints regarding the breakfast area.

Our room was on the back side of the hotel away from the road which I appreciated very much. It was very neat, clean and comfortable. We were out all day at horse farm tours so appreciated the value and location. The Rebecca Ruth candy store next door was really handy - who doesn't like chocolate at the end of a day of touring! Seriously, we will stay here again due to both the value and the location.

Breakfast could've had some protein such as breakfast sandwiches. But it was adequate for a quick bite before heading out.

The hotel is very dated. But it was very clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. Staff were all very nice and courteous. I live in Frankfort so I was only here waiting to take possession of a new house. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the bed comfort.

It was fine. Just very dated but I didn't need fancy bedspreads and such. I only needed a place to sleep that accepted pets for a couple of days.

Nice clean and comfortable ,well maintained, clean bathroom, nice 50 inch tv over all good value for the basics needs.if you want clean and affordable good place to stay.

Had to get extra coffee from front desk because was not replaced every morning , the bath to drain did not stay up so the water filled the tub, and the tub was slippery need the non slip stick pads so you can not slip and fall. Wish the breakfast had a few more options.

Location was good for our needs. Price was decent. Of all the places we stayed on our trip, this place had the cleanest bathtub/shower and we stayed at some of the more expensive chains. Everything seemed clean and beds were comfortable. Outdoor pool looked nice. We didn’t use it because it was closed due to lightning. It is good they keep an eye on those things.

When we got there our room door was wide open. I’m not sure if that is how they tell that the room has been cleaned or part of the welcoming for guests to make it easier for carrying in luggage, but I didn’t care for this due to safety reasons. Our room had a bad odor that we didn’t care for. It was like an old smell. It did get a little better once we closed the door and turned on the AC. Maybe this was once a smoking room or other rooms around it are smoking. It just wasn’t a fresh smell although everything appeared to be clean in the room. Breakfast was very minimal, but at least they offered something (coffee, tea, cereal, waffles and store bought mini cinnamon rolls). The waffle iron could use a fresh cleaning.

The man at the front desk was friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and seemed to have been recently updated-fresh paint & flooring, and the bathroom was pristine. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We would stay again.

The breakfast was basic - prepackaged danishes.
