We love the location. Beautiful area. Many things to do within walking distance. Several restaurants, bakeries and bourbon bars. The distilleries are very close as well. The St Clair itself is very comfortable and quiet. The Howser on the ground floor is the best bourbon bar in the area. Patci and crew took care of us every night after our adventures. This was our second trip to the St Clair and we are planning our third already.

The only thing that we didn't like was our unit didn't have a toaster. Only a slight inconvenience.

The location was right in the middle of the walking streets /downtown of Frankfort. Parking across the street very easy. The room itself was great-old brick walls, funky fixtures and a view to an old-school theatre/marquee across the St. Even got a text while there asking if our car was the one with keys left in it in the garage-soo personal!

The 'speakeasy' access downstairs was cool but prices were outrageous and we were never given a menu/price list - just a recommendation. Ask for menu card before ordering.

Great location in the middle of everything you might want to do. Parking garage was free and across the street. Very rustic vibe and very spacious. Check-in process was simple and on the phone. Staff that we did run into at the bar were incredibly friendly. Fun to enter its own speakeasy.

Our room was over the bar and so it was pretty noisy until the bar closed. Fine if you are out all night enjoying the sights and sounds but not when you are in the room trying to relax. Also a earlier check-out time than most places so be prepared in your plans for that.

Smack in the center of downtown Frankfort, KY. Within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and a short drive to Buffalo Trace Distillery and others. There was covered parking right across the street that was included in the fee. The room and linens were clean and the space was comfortable. We have already decided to book a room at the St. Clair on our next visit to Frankfort.

The A/C (minisplit) didn’t cool the room down as much as we would have liked. A fan to circulate the air would have been nice.

Sorry but we didn’t know there was a breakfast at the hotel, but the main problem we had was getting into the room reserved for us. Our first instruction was to go to room 203. We couldn’t find it so we got someone from the bar to help us. We found it eventually, but then 203 was occupied by someone else. The person helping us called a number & then we found out 203 was booked and we were transferred to room 401. Once we got settled in everything was great until we departed from the garage. We came out of the alley & I took a wide turn to avoid a car parked close to the exit. So far, so good but then I turned a bit to wide and found out we had managed to get hung up on the rail road tracks. A call to 911 had the police come to us, called a tow truck and got us back on the road. Both the police and tow truck driver said this happens at least once a week. So I would expect a warning from the apartment would be appropriate.

Sorry we got these mixed up, but you can figure it out. We enjoyed the cleanness of the room the various kitchen tools the great bed.

The usage and modification of a historic building. The location was great, although I think there could be much more in that area when the city decides what the future is for the Historic Bridge. I was very disappointed when I found out it was not even open to pedestrian traffic! The area has unlimited potential for being a Really Great Place to stay with more restaurants and shops in walking distance. The fact that the Historic Bridge was closed, REALLY is hurting that area in my opinion. Living in an area that has reinvented itself in Carmel, IN., I've seen what doing things the right way, like pedestrian trails, promoting, and having a variety of things to do with a diversity feel about it snowball things exponentially! This area has unlimited potential if planned out and promoted the right way.

Seemed like some of the area is just at a standstill with vacant old buildings and the bridge closed with no signage or information of its future of possibly reopening. People are drawn to water especially in historic areas. Seems like hearing from some of the locals during my stay, that there was no hurry or surprised to them that things are just at a standstill.... That doesn't seem like a positive public attitude for the area, which is sad because it does seem like it has great potential.

The St.Clair was by far 1 of the best airbnbs I have ever spent vacation in, the place was immaculate all around. The location, the cleanliness, the appliances, the linen, the television, the cable, and to top it off the owner and the staff were A1 superb. In my opinion the St. Clair rocks, I would definitely stay here again and recommend the St. Clair to anyone.

Well my 1st night I was supposed to stay at the St.clair, but Booking.com made a big mistake by not issuing me the correct pass code information to enter the St. Clair so therefore my family and I had to find another place to stay in for our first night in town but the next morning the owner of the St. Clair contacted me with very heartfelt apologies and Chris the owner also accommodated my family and I to a stay at the St Clair for the remainder of my vacation along with complimentary drinks and orderves for myself and my family. And for that I truly want to Thank and compliment Chris the owner for his southern hospitality and his awesome owner skills. Chris you, your staff and the St Clair rock.

All new! Very nice big screen TV, free garage parking.

The check in process thru Jurny was abysmal. If it hadn’t been for our 2 “concierge” Howser bartenders, P and H, I would have been reduced to tears. They had Information and contacts to Jurny. These gals were amazing!! They were our saviors! Super helpful and awesome! Now, don’t get me wrong! The Jurny people were plenty nice, but the hoops they make you jump thru is just overkill. Sends a contract to sign! Take a selfie! C’mon! Too much! Stressful! In the end it was well worth the trouble because the room was BEAUTIFUL! But if it weren’t for my Howser bar gals P and H, I don’t know what I would have done.

The apartment was located in the heart of the city center. The building is new. The apartment is huge, it was all clean and very new, fully equipped. In the city you can park for free. Although the accommodation includes parking in the price. It is in the building across the street but very convenient to get to the apartment. For a person traveling alone it is very big, but it is the most affordable and central I found in the city, so I highly recommend it. As a suggestion: for people traveling alone, the apartment is huge for one person. My suggestion is that they make single rooms with bathrooms available at more affordable prices for people traveling alone.

Everything was great. To put a downside, I had problems with the code of the entrance door and the payment of the stay. I called the hotel's phone number and it was immediately solved. The people staying on the upper floor made noise early in the morning and woke me up. It can happen in any hotel.

The place was soooo clean, and the bed was OMG comfortable. There was a rainfall shower head, so it was very nice on my sore back. The owner was very helpful when I needed assistance.

I didn't like the extremely late emails. I ended up not knowing where to park, and I drove around for a while looking for their parking spots, but they did answer the phone right away when I called for their help. I like the updated security and very modern technology for the room but I downloaded the app to lock and unlock the door but I was never verified so I couldn't use it and I was locked out of our room and had to call them again. The constant calling because I didn't have all the information was a bit time-consuming, but they always answered or texted me the information.
