Excellent location- walking distance to restaurants and the Metro. Easy subway ride to the Monuments and other DC sites. The bar and restaurant on the main level were very convenient, as well as offering good drinks and tasty food. ALL of the staff members were polite, helpful, attentive and clearly good at their jobs. We felt welcomed and pampered during our stay for four nights.

The only thing I did not like was the $59. charge for daily valet parking. It seemed a bit pricey.

First off, it's BEAUTIFUL! The room was nicely decorated. The room has tile floors so there is no stinky carpet! Loved that! The valets and front desk staff were always smiling and greeted us whenever we walked through the lobby. We had amazing food at Seventh State. Brayden was an awesome bar tender. The crab and corn dip, lobster mac, and asparagus pizza were my favorites. My husband loved all of that plus the baked brie.

That Hip Flask was closed because it was Sunday. ;-) Oh and we had a steamer and not an iron. Silly, I know.

The hotel is new (2 yrs old), hence, in wonderful condition with a little modern/glamorous feel. Our room was bright and very clean, refreshed each day with the same level of cleanliness. Breakfast was good and coffee was great; I appreciated the variety of milk alternative options. Was surprised by our room service delivery being in take-out packaging and not plated, but all was provided according to our order.

Only one minor recommended change, reduce the amount of hallway fragrance used, the scent was way too strong.

We did like the location for the Bethesda Theatre and the food and staff at the restaurants were great.

The customer service was good, but we were not told of any amenities but i did hear another person/guest told about it and it was informative. Also, we asked for a luggage cart be brought to us and the person came and left so fast that we couldn't give her a tip.

My husband said his breakfast was just barely warm the first day. The second day, I think it was hot. He brought back lovely muffins for me in the room. The room was spacious, very comfortable. The location is excellent for neighborhood dining. So many choices!

Only disliked that valet parking was $55 per night. It would be nice for guests to park overnight in the garage across the street, but was told that it was risking a ticket.

I was here for a funeral- used to live in bethesda, md. I loved location and the room was very comfortable. it was quiet on my floor which I appreciated since I was coming and going to support my bereaved friends.

ordered some 'to go' food at the bar that took quite a long time. would have been nicer if they just said , its going to take a while (over 25/30 mins) for your appetizers, why dont we bring them up to your room?

i was charged twice for the valet parking and it took a 2nd call to get it removed from my bill which I was not happy about. I also saw that the charge to my credit card was higher than the receipt amount which annoyed me again. I was trying not to let this damped my experience staying in this hotel where the cleanliness and fresh smell was exceptioal.

The room was really nice, with comfy beds and a gorgeous bathroom. The rooftop bar was beautiful, and the breakfast at the restaurant was very good.

The $6 bottles of water in the room were pretty expensive... complimentary bottles of water were available at the front desk, but we didn't realize that until we checked out! The "party music" out on the rooftop bar was too loud for us... maybe create an area where the music can't be heard?

I didn’t like about the property is the room have a microwave, so if I wanted to bring home leftover food from when I went out to eat, I could not heat it up because there was no microwave in the room. That’s a big thing you should have a microwave in the room.

I think the idea of charging $6 for a bottle of water sucks, especially when at the front desk they will give you water if you ask. The front desk upon check in did not make this offer. The Hyatt does not charge. I also think complimentary coffee in the lobby would be a convenience as most places where we have stayed do.
