My boyfriend and I were there for 4 nights, and we had a lovely time. The B&B was better than expected, beautiful location amidst the olive trees. The breakfast was amazing, every food served had high quality, Frese al Pomodoro was my favorite. Silvia, and staff are very kind and friendly. The cleanliness was also impressive.

Nothing really. We just at first thought it was funny that we had to swim with swimming caps. But we got used to it, and probably helps with the hygiene.

It was an wonderful experience and I would definitely reccommend Silvia's location and services! It was a 5 to 6 stars experience! The rooms, from its size to its cleanliness, the breakfast quality, the exceptional coffee, I believe there is nothing I cannot higlight and highly reccommend! Will be definitely coming back, we left in tears, It really was one of the top vacations of my life! And thank Silvia and her team for that! And Toto, go find who Toto is and what is his story 😳😍❤️

L'ulivo is a bit pricey, but it is well worth it. Service a cleanliness are impeccable, breakfast is almost a la carte :) The pool and garden area is beautiful and has a modern shower with a touch of nature located under an olive tree. Places to check: Coccaro beach club is nice for an evening dinner, the restaurants in the area that are a bit more upscale require a reservation 2-3 days in advance, some - weeks in advance. For swimming and sunbathing we were going further towards Rosa Marina, where the beaches are bigger, more sandy than rocky and cleaner, with beautiful turqoise water. Prices for 2 chairs and a parasol with a table differ greatly though, depending on the services and the state of the private beach. Paying more is worth it, if you opt for a paid beach. If you do not want to pay a lot, it's better to go early morning to a wild/free beach, there is plenty of those between Torre Canne and Rosa Marina. Car is a necessity. Rental plus from Bari is good. Opt for full insurance to avoid having any issues or additional charges later. Beware of ZTLs and Speed cameras, use WAZE instead of google maps, as both are bad, but WAZE is a bit better with private zones. Try and avoid speeding tickets, they can reach you unexpectedly within 12 month after your trip and, as you know, penalties in Italy double and triple during the period of non payment.

If you plan on using wifi - do not count on it being steady or enough for videocalls. This place is not remote work friendly unless you have your own internet (but the reception will also be bad). This place is not meant for work :)

We could not fault our stay at L’Ulivo- everything was perfect. Firstly, Silvia and her husband are both amazing people and they couldn’t do more for you. From offering to drive us places (we did not rent a car), to providing recommendations for restaurants and beaches AND booking restaurants for us every night, they truly do make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The property is the most beautiful, peaceful place ever and the surroundings are breathtaking. Neither me nor my partner have ever felt more relaxed! The breakfast spread was slightly different everyday and extremely delicious. Everything is homemade by Silvia and there’s a wide variety from cakes and pastries to traditional puglian dishes. We did not rent a car and instead chose to utilise the bikes at the property. It took around 9-10 minutes to cycle into the town, with the view of the sea for most of the ride. It took less than 15 minutes to cycle to Cala Pescatone beach, which we would highly recommend. We paid €30 on Thursday for 2 sun loungers and an umbrella. On weekends the price is €35 (during high season). We had an amazing stay and plan to return in the future!

This is such a haven, tucked away in a quiet spot amongst fields of ancient olive trees, the place has a silence to it which is magical and calming. The breakfast was amazing, with every detail taken care of. Silvia and her husband are the perfect hosts, we felt very welcomed and cared for with every little detail paid careful attention to. We took bikes and cycled 10 minutes to the town where there are plenty of really nice restaurants and some shops. We would love to come back if we get the opportunity.

This place is incredible in every single aspect. The owner Silvia goes out of her way to ensure that the experience is memorable. The grounds are magnificent with olive trees that are over one thousand years old along with a great pool with lounge chairs. The breakfasts are home made by the owner and are as tasty as they are visually pleasing with lots of variety. The location can't be beaten - close to all the major towns of interest. I highly recommend staying here. Lived every aspect of our stay.

The friendliness and professionalism of Silvia & her staff were exceptional. Attention to detail and quality of the breakfasts was superb. The setting is very beautiful and peaceful. Overall, we were made to feel very welcome, and Silvia went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

A car is essential to go to the nearby towns.

The breakgast was fantastic with lots of local produce making all the offering delicious. Silvia is a magnificent host and can't do enough for you. My wife had an upset stomache which was a carryover from our trip to Morocco and Silvia looked after her by making some special teas for her to drink at breakfast and throughout the day. Couldn't fault this property and host and staff. The grounds were perfectly maintained and the pool area was amazing. The location is perfect if you have a car and want to see the many amazing towns that Puglia has to offer. Would highly recommend.

Where to begin.. In short, everything! The property was absolutely gorgeous nestled in an olive grove. The grounds were kept in immaculate condition. The hospitality was above & beyond. The location was very easy to get to via car. Towns were in close proximity to make quick day trips expanding our exploring capabilities. The host, Silvia is very patient and genuine. Kind and caring. And the breakfast! No La Quinta hot breakfast. Everything was fresh, local, and delicious. EVERYTHING. Thy also offer wine by the bottle. We enjoyed beverages in sitting areas near our room as well as the community area near the office. This establishment is 10/10. My wife and I will be back!

L’Ulivo really exceeded our expectations. This is a family owned and run Bed and Breakfast and you can really tell that Silvia and Sandro care deeply about their guests and their property. A list of things we loved about our stay: 1. A small staff that was incredibly genuine, friendly, welcoming, accommodating. Silvia especially was so lovely to interact with. 2. Clean rooms; impeccably maintained grounds and facilities that were also secure. Air conditioning that works very well. 3. Totò, the sweetest pup that was around in the morning. 4. Delicious food. 5. Great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Assistance with reservations as needed. 6. Wonderful location - super quiet and peaceful but very nearby amazing larger Apulian cities that were fun to explore during the day. We would gladly recommend L’Ulivo without any hesitation to anyone looking for a place to stay in Puglia. When we left we actually had tears in our eyes, we were so sad to go. We can’t wait to come back and we travelled all the way from the west coast of the US!
