I rated this hotel 8/10 although it's not luxurious, you get exactly what you see. The room was clean, heating was working, bathroom was clean. The location was perfect (at least for me), because it's near San Siro stadium and the metro was like 2mins from the hotel (if i recall correctly it was around 15mins to get to Duomo). The staff is very friendly, they do speak english.

Just some small things, which didnt significantly make my trip worse. For example, the "spinning stairs" are steep (and dangerous if you come back from the bar haha), i would maybe appreciate hairdryer in the bathroom or "own key" to get into the building (there was never problem with getting into hotel, but the first night i was kinda scared that im gonna be left outside the whole night :D)

Great place, close to the metro station. Very easy to go downtown. Safe and nice neighborhood. Unfortunately, there is no direct entrance to the first flor, therefore, you need to go to the second flor entrance, and come down some very uncomfortable stairs. Also, coffee is upon request and no breakfast is served.

Clean and quiet room. It has good location, you need just five minutes walking to the metro station gambara and you need max 15 minutes till main attractions. Staff are very kind and always ready to help and give you wise advises.

Facilities are a little bit simply and old. If you decide to stay here always keep your sleepers with you. But it's not a big problem. Cleanness was more important than facilities. Thank you.

Staff so gentle, and the position awesome. A minute by walk from Gambara metro station. Makes easy moving around the city. The building i s old with uncomfortable stairs for getting access to exit if you're on second floor rooms, but if your purpose is to have a place to sleep and take rest is more than sufficient. There is a supermarket (Siena)in less than 1 min by walk that is open 24h!! Metro station M2 line so close to hotel, that all makes comfortable the stay! I stayed one night there with my 10-year old daughter for Melanie martinez concert in Assago Forum so I think it was a period with prices little bit higher than usual! The prices for a night were crazy!! Anyway ... for us Everything was perfect! The price, staff, location, cleanness satisfied me. I'll return there each time I go to stay a few days in Milan!

Some uncomfortable stairs in second floor that connect two floors!

Located near the Gambara metro station, it is a bit far from the city center, but that's okay. The room was clean and spacious, though it had no AC, just a fan. It included a shower and a sink, but the toilet was shared. Luckily, we had quiet neighbours, so we didn’t hear anything or anyone. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to leave our backpacks after check-out.

It was still a bit hot there, no kitchen.

One of the best things about this property is how close to the metro station is, so it was really easy to move around Milan. The neighborhood was quiet and with cafes and restaurants around. Although is an old building and upon arriving that was a bit scaring, the room was really spacious, clean and comfortable, I even have a window with view to the street so it was nice.

Maybe the fact there’s only one bathroom to share and though I have a shower in my room, the use of the bathroom for others purpose some days needed some wait. Not a deal breaker though.

- Cost effective - Very helpful and kind staff - I had a problem with my bank and my bank misinformed me. I asked the situation to the hotel, and they replied me in a few minutes. So, they are responsive! - Rooms are clean - Location is so so nice and very close to the Metro station (Gambara Metro) - I want to say that if I visit Milan again, I can stay at Hotel Gambara without thinking any other option.

I loved everything in general, just I may say that the bathroom is so so small.

When checking in, the staff is always smiling, very warm and kind. I really like their service attitude. Their service attitude is even similar to the Radisson Hotel and Sheraton Hotel near the airport. The hot water in the room was steady. The new pillows in the room were very comfortable to use (maybe latex pillows). There is Carrefour and many restaurants not far from the hotel. So I think it's good value for money to live here.

The sound insulation of the door is not good. I even heard people chatting happily and loudly in the corridor at 1pm. I don't feel like it's affecting my rest, but I think it's definitely having an effect on older people's sleep.

The location is like 10 min underground metro drive. The place feels very safe cause there’s someone in the reception all the time. Everything was clean and the staff was super nice.

The walls are thin so you hear the neighbors. It would be good if there are more visible signs to ask the guests to be quiet after 22:00 for example.

The Place Was in a great neighborhood, very Safe the Room Was clean and it Very Comfortable, It has Stairs and Elevator. The receptionist Diego was very kind to us, he was worried because I twisted my foot before I arrived in the property and he made sure I was OK. They also let us leave our suitcases and backpacks for the day after the check out. We are so thankful to hotel Gambara
