Book this hotel! The owners Dee and May are hands-on, gracious hosts, and very attentive to all guests.They've created a beautiful oasis and the hospitality experienced is far more superior to most boutique hotels that we've experienced in Canada and Europe. The location is in a quiet area, only a short tuktuk drive from Siam Reap(currently USD$2 each way) and property has a driver on standby for most of the day. The restaurant on-site is currently not operational, which wasn't an issue for us because food options are nearby(take tuktuk to food street), accessible and very inexpensive. Their work around is ordering food and beverages for guests through the Grab app, with reasonable pricing and delivery times. Our Deluxe Twin room was spacious and exactly as advertised, with 2 twin size beds, two communal balcony lounges to sit and relax in after our excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed the saltwater pool, which is exceptional and was never crowded.

The beds in room 111 were a bit firm for us and would have preferred more support. Not a deal breaker for a 3-night stay but good to know that in case you require less firm, just ask if they can accommodate.

Ravady is a very nice hotel with a charming pool and great and very helpful people working there. Very convenient is a restaurant just behind the corner with traditional Cambodian dance. Also, we took the opportunity offered by the hotel to have their driver to pick us up at the airport and were very lucky to have Mr. Ly, who was our fantastic guide for all other excursions as well: Angkor Wat, Kompong Khlea... we thank him for a wonderful experience and recommend his great service to all travelers.

We found nothing negative during our whole stay in this beautiful country and their great people

The room was large, clean with good bed and towels. Big shower. Pool was a plus. The owners are very kind and helpfull people. the structure is outside the center therefore very quiet. to get around you have to use a tuc tuc, but the hotel always has one available for its customers.

the room was not well insulated and unfortunately we slept poorly both nights due to noisy guests upstairs. ask for a room with no one else upstairs. furthermore, no one enforces the rules on using the pool, so if there are children or teenagers, it's a disaster

The place is really great ! Family - run, the owners really try everything to keep it in perfect condition: Big room (actually there is a bedroom and a sitting room). Pool. Bathtub. Everything is extremely clean. Everything works perfectly (AC...) The owners are extremely helpful and know what they do. Example: They get you bus - tickets to Phnom Penh for very fair prices. But what is more: There are three night - buses and they get you a ticket for the only sleeper - bus. Perfect. Thank you again.

If you wanted to be over - critical (but really only then) you could say that the floor in the bathroom is a bit slippery.

Seriously don't even know where to begin with our stay at Ravady, it was just amazing. We stayed here for a total of 8 nights and could've easily of stayed for much, much longer. The room was incredibly spacious, allowing us to really set up, and spread out during our long stay. The room also came well equiped with a large bathroom, strong AC, ceiling fan and TV. We were fortunate enough to have a large balcony with couches, this overlooked the pool, and was a nice spot to relax. The pool is absolutely incredible too, it really feels like you're in some kind of oasis. It was the perfect place to cool off after temple running, and as well as at night before bed. The staff are also super amazing too, I think this stems from just how great the owners are! Felt as though I'd often come down to ask a simple question, only to then get stuck into some solid chat for up to 45 minutes occasionally. Felt like catching up with friends! Mae and Dee, we really can't thank you enough for just how wonderful our time was at Ravady. Just writing this review makes me sad that we aren't there anymore. All the best guys, hopefully we will make it back agin someday!

Absolutely everything! I booked this hotel almost by accident but it turned out to be maybe the best hotel I have ever stayed and I have traveled a lot. Room was clean and very simple, owners were amazing (they even dropped us to the bus station) and they spoke really good English - if i needed something, they were always ready to help. Just like the rest of the staff. Fridge at the lobby was always full of beverages and it was really easy to take one, put it under the room bill and enjoy it during a hot day. Pool area was so beautiful and all the time somebody was cleaning the area. If you wanted, you could book all trips from the hotel too and almost all the time a tuktuk driver was waiting outside. Really felt like home here.

Hotel was a bit far from the city center, so it's good to have a map or be ready to explain the tuktuk drivers where to go. It might also be a good idea to put a little bit more furniture (chairs and some space to put clothes ans shopping) to the room, makes living easier with four people in the same room :) But these were just a small things which didn't bother a lot.

We had a beautiful stay (5 nights). Di and Mei are most helpful and organised a lot of our activites for us. They also provide with very helpful information throughout our stay. Their drivers are so kind, on time, always with a smile on. Our kids particularly loved Mr Ra, who was our driver most of the time and for our Angkor Tour. The property is beautiful, very clean, great pool with light salted water (soooo much better than chlorine!), very quiet and yet close to the city and Angkor.

Everything was perfect.

Lovely shared pool a few steps from all the rooms. Our room was spacious with big comfortable beds. Air con and ceiling fan kept us comfortable cool. Bathroom also spacious with good shower. We also had a small 'veranda' room with a table and chairs and a view onto a garden area - although we did not use. Hotel owner gave very helpful advise on trips out and temle visits. She alao arranged tuk-tuk rides. I have put a 'didn't like' comment below bit do not let put you off staying.

Hotel has no chef just now. We may have spent more time hanging out and relaxing by the pool and dining area if food was readily available. Hotel owner told me that she will have a chef soon - maybe ask jer about that before booking.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing our stay here was. Firstly, our room was immaculately clean with strong air con and a silent fan on the roof. Big, comfy bed, deep bathtub, gorgeous rainfall shower, lots of space in the room and nice terrace beside the pool. The best thing by far, was the staff. Ratah greeted us on arrival and he was amazing organising day trips and arranging tuktuks, along with recommending things to do and places to go. He was brilliant handling any queries we had. All the staff we dealt with throughout our stay were so very helpful and accommodating. We went for New Years and the vibes around the hotel were amazing. All the staff got into the festivities. The pool is fabulous and a fantastic way to cool down after a day of exploring temples. I would definatly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay here. The owner was lovely and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay comfortable. Everything is new and built to a good standard. The restaurant was not operational but we could order our own food and eat it at their restaurant tables.

You need to understand you'll be out of the way and will need transportation to reach the centre of Siem Reap, but the amount of space and level of accommodation made this worth it for us (plus a Grab tuk tuk was only a couple of dollars to the city centre). We were getting picked up to go see temples most of the day and only went to town for dinner so this was fine for us, but if you plan on dipping in and out of the centre this won't be convenient. Still, if you choose to stay in this area you'll have a great time with impeccable service.
