This was by far the best hotel we stayed in whilst travelling around Cambodia for 2 weeks. It was extremely clean, spacious and beautifully designed, with few rooms and an incredible pool in the courtyard. The staff were very accommodating and even brought us coffees and lunches we ordered at the restaurant right to the poolside. The location slightly outside of the city centre was perfect, as it was actually quiet and relaxing and you could really enjoy the hotel facilities after a day of sightseeing. To get into town, we could very easily get a tuktuk for only $2 and a pleasant 5-6 minute journey, so we much preferred this than being in the noisier centre. If I were to visit Siem Reap again, I would not hesitate to come right back to Prana Hotel.

The rooms were large, with a large comfy bed. We really liked the good-sized swimming pool with clean water. It came very handy after a long day exploring the archaeological site. The price was very competitive. The manager was informative and organised a tuk-tuk driver and scooter rental for us for a good price.

However, this hotel is in no way a 4-star as advertised. Rooms could be freshly painted as the walls were quite dirty and the paint in the ceiling was peeling. The AC was not working properly (it could not cool well) and was noisy. The bathroom could also be cleaner. More pillows could be provided, and toilet paper replenished every day without guests having to ask. Not all staff can speak English nor is knowledgeable about touristy things, and we had to wait for the receptionist/co-owner (who was not always there) to ask our questions. Unfortunately, during our stay, it was very noisy (steel grinders) from the neighbouring building site. Overall, however, we had a pleasant stay despite our experience was certainly not 4*.

If only I could rate them more. Everything was so smooth, the staff so efficient and friendly. From our very late check-in, to our last minute query for a tuktuk to Angkor Wat, and everything in between. The correspondence was fast, clear, kind and always professional. To be honest I wasn't expecting much for this price, but oh I was so wrong. The hotel is quiet, the room huge, the amenities, the comfy bed. Did I mention the good food ( brekky and lunch)? Did I mention the very attentive staff? Oh and there is the pool. Believe me after a day out to visit the temples you will be so happy to take a dip. Clean and refreshing. The garden is beautiful too. What else? Next time I will make sure to come back here, ask for the same room and stay a week or two!

In any business the most important thing is the relationship between staff/owners and customers. In this case, for us, it was exceptional. The rooms are large with powerful showers. Pool is immaculate. Breakfast choice is varied and tasty. We also enjoyed dinner which at 5 dollars is great value. Also a good craft brewery next door!

We deliberately booked this hotel as we wanted somewhere quiet and away from the noise of the centre. A tuk tuk is 2 dollars to town and takes around 6 minutes. However, if you want to be in the middle of Siem Reap and walk to Pub Street, this location is not for you.

When we arrived, we were surprised how luxurious we will live in the next few days. The room had a lot of space and the furniture and facilities were of great quality. The pool was fantastic! Also the breakfast was nice with a choice between asian or western meals. We borrowed bikes from the hotel for exploring Ankor and the city - the location was perfectly in between both.

There weren't any restaurants near the hotel, so we ate there sometimes in the evening - some of the meals weren't available because the staff didn't know how to cook them or they cooked them really bad (we are no picky eaters and we couldn't eat it). But we were there in the off season, so I guess that's why.

I was absolutely delighted by this pleasant hotel, young staff, but all speak good English, very helpful. The pool is lovely too after a hard, hot day at the ruins. I would also highly recommend the local tuk tuk driver Ken ( he's not officially attached to the hotel I don't think) but in my 25 years of visiting Siem Riep he was the best driver I've had in 20 or so visits, honest, reliable, punctual, polite. Ken really was the icing on a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Will return for certain.

The property was perfect for what I wanted. I had the terrace suite and it was great sit outside watching over the pool. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was good. Short walk to small restaurants and shops.

Only a small thing, probably to keep costs down. The fridge turns off when you remove the key to leave room. I understand air convenient but the fridge is different

Location to Angkor Wat was great. Also near restaurants and Pub Street. Property was open air and nicely maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was great especially after a day hiking in the heat. Good happy hour!

The bed was quite hard and could stand to be replaced with something that was a bit more comfortable. Also, would be nice if there was no smoking allowed at the pool area. But luckily the breeze kept it away from us.

The room was very spacious. The staff was super friendly and helpful and they help you with booking taxis and the trips there. The pool was really nice, especially when it was super hot. Happy hour discount for the drinks and espresso Martini were great :) The breakfasts were also nice with a quite a big choice of food and drinks.

There are mosquitos around the pool and in the room, so better have some mosquito repellent with you. The door is not airtight and mosquitoes can fly in through the gaps. Probably nice improvement for the future would be some improvement of the door or a mosquito net in the room. But if you have a repellent it's fine. Other than that everything was great :)

Great pool and spacious room. Reasonably close to Angkor Wat. Staff are pleasant. Air conditioning works but with the heat it takes a while to cool the room down.

Bed was hard and one had springs poking into our back. Staff brought a comforter to put between the bed and the sheets--which helped. One day the breakfast was excellent and the other it took 45 minutes to arrive and was cold. Despite this, we'd return here for the lovely pool area.
