The value and price were unbelievable. Absolutely the highest level of professionalism among the staff with comfortable beds, soft bedding and all in a small and intimate hotel. The spa treatments were inexpensive and some of the very best I’ve ever had.
We loved every aspect of our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. We would have loved a slightly under variety of food at the restaurant since we ended up eating 3 meals at the restaurant in addition to breakfast. But this also tells the reader how much we loved our stay. It was a perfect retreat from the sights of Angkor Wat.

Sokkhak Boutique Hotel and Spa is truly an oasis. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood a 15 minute tuk tuk ride to either Angkor Wat or downtown Siem Reap, it is a beautiful small hotel with large, comfortable rooms, a lovely pool and a very good restaurant. An excellent breakfast is provided and we enjoyed lunches and dinner there too. My wife had a good massage in the onsite spa. The staff provides excellent, personalized service and arranged airport transportation, tuk tuk trips, and guided tours. We had a great tour of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm with the informative and personable guide Sara, driver Mr. Tai, and cool towels and water provided along the way.

Beautiful tranquil oasis. Wonderful welcome and service throughout our stay. Pool room was spacious and kept clean with a turndown service nightly which was a lovely touch. Large comfy bed and pillows. Staff are wonderful and really look after you during your stay. Food and drink quality excellent and a lovely freshly cooked breakfast everyday. The hotel is beautifully kept and very clean. Lovely spa treatments available.
If the menus could be varied at lunchtime as this can be a bit repetitive of you have a couple of relaxing days. Storage in the room could be a bit of an issue. The only other negative was our fridge didn’t work in our room. A little out from restaurants and town which was about a 10 minute ride on a Tuk Tuk which we didn’t mind but if you just wanted a wonder then there was very little close by. The pool area is in the shade by approx 3pm but it’s still a lovely place to relax.

This is a small boutique hotel about 10 minutes by tuk tuk outside the main tourist area of Siem Reap. The hotel offered tranquility and comfort. The bedroom was a very good size with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made guests feel very welcome. The breakfast was very good and was served from a menu rather than being self service. The salt water pool is relatively small but more than adequate for the number of guests. Guests can also avail of spa treatments on site. Overall our stay was extremely pleasant and comfortable.

We stayed at Sokkhak Boutique Resort and Spa in November for 4 nights in the home suite. This is by far the best experience we have ever had in a hotel and we have stayed in many levels of accommodation world wide. Sokkhak is the perfect boutique experience! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and well attended. Special thanks to Muriet (apologies if I've spelt your name incorrectly) and Phoeum! My heartfelt thanks to all the staff for making my birthday so special! Rooms and facilities listed are EXACTLY as per the photos on their website and various booking sites. The included breakfast was delicious and generous! We were so impressed with the onsite restaurant we didn't bother eating anywhere else and preferred to eat, drink and enjoy Sokkhak Boutique after long, hot days at Angkor Wat. Whilst we only saw the front of house attendees I would like to thank all the staff at Sokkhak for the wonderful experience...the beautiful gardens, sparkling pool, stunning floral arrangements, spotless comfortable rooms and facilities and the chefs in the kitchen/restaurant etc. Be sure to let Sokkahk organise your drivers and tours to Angkor Wat. We had the most diligent, safe & friendly drivers that made everything easy. Be sure to ask for Mr Thai for your car transfers and tours and Sopia for your tuk tuk tours and needs. You are in safe hands! Im sure it is this group effort and care that makes Sokkhak exceptional. We hope to return in Nov 2025!
There is nothing not to like!

We spent 4 days 4 nights in Sokkak Hotel. We loved its quiet location, away from the hustle bustle, but I only a short tuk tuk ride away from the center of town. The hotel is very nice with beautifully landscaped gardens the around property. The interior decor is classy, with exquisite wood carvings and fresh flowers. Our room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, with many excellent items both western style and Cambodian. More broadly, the hotel has an excellent kitchen, and we sampled their creations once for lunch, and when we got room service another day. Each item was freshly cooked and bursting with flavor. The uncooked items such as the fruit plate and the salads were always fresh and delicious. The bartender knows his trade, and after a day of sightseeing, the cocktails and mocktails were heavenly. Tying all of these wonderful amenities and services is the excellent staff, and we cannot praise them enough. The personalized service, the attention to detail, was nothing short of extraordinary. Highly recommend.
The bathroom shower should have a threshold so that water doesn't run all over the bathroom. When we pointed this out, they always cleaned it up promptly, so no complaints there. But this could be avoided.

We booked this hotel for it s location which is close to the temples. The staff were amazing and they helped us with the bikes renting and with everything we needed
Before coming to this hotel we stayed 3 days at Eightfold resort which was the best resort we ever stayed at. I can say that Sokkhak resort is very far from bring a 5 star hotel. The restaurant area smells like being in a kitchen, in the first room we had the AC didn’t work properly and it was very noisy. The second rooms was looking better but we had humidity flies in the room . The prices at the restaurant were very very high for Cambodia and almost double from the previous hotel we stayed ( where we received even a free three meniu course dinner !! )

The staff were the best: super friendly, always attentive, and there was no request too big! Marady and Sopal answered many questions about Cambodian culture and food, and we were like friends by the end of our weeklong stay. The decor and ambience is gorgeous and relaxing, if only our schedule of temple exploring and birdwatching was not so tight I would have loved to have simply relaxed around the pool area and in the room. The one time I did try the pool for a quick dip, it was refreshing (perfect temp) and they turned on the waterfall for just me! The garden courtyard is beautiful with many flowering plants, lots of commoner garden species of birds and small geckos and yellow frogs near the main door at night (but no creepy crawlies at the same time I should emphasize). The restaurant served some of the best food I had of the trip. Prices for everything were very reasonable. Our tuk tuk driver, Makara (Kim), was amazing too, taking us anywhere and at anytime we wanted. He always waited patiently and greeted us after a temple visit with cold water and a refreshing wet-wipe. He also knows good restaurants and shopping areas. I am already planning my second trip to this fascinating and warmest of countries and plan to spend all my time in Siem Reap again at Sokkhak Boutique! Orkun jraeun!~
Practically nothing. One tiny complaint was a few noises on the first night (dogs barking outside late at night or early morning, and what sounded like a pump running every 15/20 mins), but after that night not sure if noises went away or we were just so tired from long fun-filled days but we slept easily in the super comfy beds! The other thing that would have been nice is if there were more places to hang things. I realize it is a spa hotel but I felt guilty a little for having our towels replaced every day, but there were no places to hang them. Hopefully though you see how thorough I am writing this review and really these are the ONLY complaint and suggestion for improvement...

I absolutely loved my stay at Sokkhak Boutique Resort! From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful details. The pool is a highlight, offering a serene spot to unwind amidst tropical surroundings. We had an incredible stay in this fabulous boutique hotel. The staff was incredible seeming to anticipate our every need. Our room by the pool was spacious and extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. Nice big luxurious bed too! Salt water pool, great range of spa options ( I had an avocado facial- highly recommended). Breakfast was super- I loved the bananas and bacon and the delicious fresh fruit. We ate at the restaurant a few times too and enjoyed the delicious and well priced food. An absolute delight! I’m so glad we stayed here- it’s truly one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever enjoyed and I loved the peaceful location- not far out of Siem Reap, but still easily accessible by Tuk Tuk in a few minutes. I’d like to single out Tina and Phoeum for their incredible service, grace and professionalism, Moeurt for his cocktail making skills ( Singapore Sling highly recommended!!), and to all the staff for making this a perfect spot to explore Siem Reap’s many treasures. An absolute gem of a hotel!
