During my recent travels, I had the opportunity to stay at the Mane Colonial Classic Hotel, a property that boasts an enviable location near the top attractions. Here's my take on the experience: The hotel's proximity to major attractions is its standout feature. Guests can enjoy easy access to museums, historical sites, and vibrant markets, all within reasonable distance. Tuk Tuk is just available outside The rooms at Mane Colonial Classic Hotel carry a distinct rustic charm. While some may find the patina of age on the fixtures endearing, others might view it as a sign of neglect. The service at Mane Colonial Classic Hotel is commendable. The staff is attentive and helpful, providing guests with insights into local attractions and the best times to visit them. Their recommendations often lead to delightful discoveries off the beaten path. While the hotel's amenities are basic, they cover all necessities for a comfortable stay. Mane Colonial Classic Hotel is a choice for travelers who prioritize location and a touch of historical character over modern luxury. It's a reminder that sometimes the allure of a place lies in its imperfections, which tell a story of their own. Not to forget, Sreynith and her team was super helpful from the moment I chose the hotel. In fact some of the planning I did remotely sitting far away with the support from Sreynith. Kudos to the entire team for their support and taking care of us.

The hotel turned out to be very well located, was remarkably clean and had its unique colonial charm. Both the breakfast included in the room rate and the restaurant's chargeable meals were of quite high quality. Undoubtedly, however, the greatest asset there was the staff, who know their job very well (from receptionists to waiters, cooks and cleaners), being Cambodia's best ambassadors. Hospitality and willingness to meet tourist expectations, including tailor-made tours and transport, was a priority there, delivered with a genuinely sincere rather than forced smile. In a word, it can be said in conclusion that it was a properly functioning boutique hotel for reasonable money, considering the well-known chain hotels in the neighbourhood.

Ideal for 6 of us in 2 x 2 bedroom apartments, each with 2 bathrooms. Huge rooms and a very friendly team, always keen to help. The hotel was a bit out of "town" (which is spread out, but most tourists end up near Pub Street) but we loved our $2 tuk tuk trips. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked to order, but could have done with healthy options (eg granola).

On first night, there was a loud, local party making it noisy until late in one of our rooms, but they were able to move us to a different room the following night, and it was perfect. The timber pool surrounds need fixing.

The Mane Colonial Classic is not one of those concrete monstrosities so we immediately felt at home. We stayed for a fortnight while we explored Angkor. The restaurant (despite what we had read) was not open in the evening but the receptionist told us of 2 good restaurants round the corner. The staff were without exception smiling and helpful. We were given a suite so I was able to work (I am a writer) in the living room. When we finally left the staff lined up at the entrance to wave us goodbye. If we go back to Siem Reap we will use Mane Colonial Classic again.

The parasol umbrellas by the pool only gave shade to half the loungers.

The location was spot on, just 50 meters inside the main Ankor road. A 7/ 11 super mart is just next to the hotel and many Tuks tuks are easily available. Bank ATMs are very close by and some very good eateries like Mahob (with some excellent Khmer food) are also very close to the hotel. We had booked a 2BHK suite for 5 days. The rooms are spacious, the staff super friendly and helpful. The staff really went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and to accommodate our needs. The sauna and the steam in the hotel are free for use. And they also give 30 mins foot massage complimentary for each member. Mane hotel unit kindly arranged lavish dinner at the Mane family vacation resort on Christmas eve with live music, and fireworks. This was complimentary from the hotel. They arranged the transport to and from Mane colonial classic to Mane family vacation resort. It made us feel very special and totally into the festive season. The staff at the Mane family vacation resort was also great and we had lively time there during our dinner. The day we visited Ankor for sunrise the Mane colonial classic staff also prepared a breakfast box for each of us, which was super cool. The day we checked out, we had to leave by 6:30 in the morning and they had got our breakfast prepared by 6:10 AM, which was absolutely great. Also, I should mention that their chef cooks some great Vietnamese and continental food!!! Overall, we had great time in this hotel. I would strongly recommend the hotel for the visitors looking for great quality, value for money, good location, great food and super great hospitality. However, there is no lift, but the hotel is 4 storied so that is not much of a hassle plus they graciously help you with the luggage.

We had a lovely stay at Mane colonial Classic. The staff was very helpful. We contacted them before our stay and asked for a pickup from the airport. They organised a pick up for 35$. The rooms were big and mostly clean. The hotel is ideal if you don’t want to live in town, but shorter distance to Angkor Wat. The breakfast was also good. All in all a good hotel to stay for a few days.

We had a massage included in our price. Unfortunately, the therapist didn’t show up and we were only informed afterwards. We didn’t get an alternative option offered anymore, as we had to leave the next morning. The massage was not the reason why we booked the hotel ;) - but it was a bit disappointing how the situation was handled. Also I shooter costs 20$ a day with them. In town it it’s only 10$. So we did not rent with the hotel.

Everything was fantastic. The room was spacious, nice and clean. Breakfast was wonderful and you could choose from an a la carte menu. It was delicious. Also the pool was nice to refresh from a hot day at Angkor Wat. The massage I got was blissful and they even have a gym room, sauna, steam bath. All well maintained. But the best was the friendly stuff. I felt so warm and welcome and they did everything to make my stay pleasant (and they do speak English) Especially Liza from reception was not only friendly and had such a warm smile. But she was also helpful and competent. She was able to answer all my questions and book all tours for me that I wanted. Great Experience overall

The hotel is very well maintained, the staff is very polite and nice especially Sreynith, she is excellent. I had not planned my travel ahead but Sreynith proactively started coordinating with me before my arrival and made sure my trip was well planned, she catered to every ask of mine and provided me with unique experiences (like Apsara Teatre). I had book for sunrise tour for Angkor Wat, she was so caring to ensure breakfast was packed and kept ready along with a bottle of water at 4 am. Very good experience and a good stay.

The hotel is good, the staff is excellent, the only thing is lift is not there but the hotel staff are kind enough to carry luggage to the room.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Couldn’t do more for you. To start the breakfast was amazing. So much choice and cooked well. The room itself was like a mini apartment, huge rooms. The location was a 2 dollar Tuk Tuk into the centre around 5 minutes. Next door to a 7/11 which was handy. We got a text every morning asking us if we needed anything, anything we wanted to book and wished us a great day. Nice personal touch. The free 30 minute massage was amazing, my partner and me had loads around Vietnam and this was better than them all. The pool was nice too. All the staff were great, couldn’t be more helpful, they also helped us arrange a day at the elephant sanctuary which I highly advise , up and close with elephants that have been saved from a bad life. Mr Meas was a credit to the hotel, really happy with his service. I didn’t get the other names but as stated they were great too.

Great hotel not far from town. Easy to get there for a few $'s in a tuk tuk. Staff were all smiles and so helpful. The massage and onsite spa were wonderful. We managed 3 in 9 days. Nice pool and they served a decent cocktail. There is a gym and steam rooms although we didn't use them. Everything you needed was in the room and if you needed anything you only had to ask and with a nod and a smile it was brought to your room quickly. Daily fruit was available if you wanted it and plenty of water was left in the room every day. Coffee pods were a nice treat.

I cannot fault anything - the place was superb.
