Absolutely STUNNING resort. It is giving White Lotus luxury. There is a delicious smell permeating throughout the whole property, the rooms were amazing and so were the staff. The aircon was sensational - the best in Siem Reap. The pool is gorgeous & we would highly recommend the champagne bar & the oysters at the champagne bar. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful. The general manager was also incredibly kind. We moved here from another accommodation that was terrible and learning of our little ordeal, he upgraded us to a better room. To sum it up - everything was first class. We could not be more grateful.

Nothing much to complain. Except one minor incident - I bought the Club package for access to daily breakfast, which costed about USD 30 per person per day. Then one day they proposed to us that we should take breakfast in our room due to the early start of the trip, we took their suggestion. However, they charged us USD30 per person per breakfast due to the fact that they delivered the food to our room. It was ridiculous because they didn’t notify us beforehand that they would charge us extra for just delivering the breakfast to our room. It had defeated the purpose of us getting the daily club access - as in we actually paid double just because they delivered the food to our room. Would be fine if they mentioned the cost beforehand but they did not.

The Excellent Services rendered by “Every” Gracious Staff Member; The food from each restaurant; the cleanliness of every indoor & outdoor space; the flower arrangements are beautiful; every inch of ground area is spectacular & relaxing; the Library; the staff saying goodbye to us.

My experience at Sofitel was absolutely 100% beyond satisfaction. This was my 2nd visit. Keep Doing What You Are Doing.

It was very quiet and peaceful, maybe as it was low season. Beautiful grounds but not as big as I expected. Beautiful flower arrangements, and a luxurious ambiance throughout. The staff were helpful and attentive. We stayed in a junior suite which was very spacious and comfortable. In fact it was a suite as the sitting room was separate and very large. Housekeeping was very good, as we were not disturbed, but the room was made up when we requested, even late afternoons. Replenishment of water, tea and coffee in the same standard professional manner daily. Excellent breakfast and also room service. Executive lounge snacks plentiful. 5 min walk to the museum which I highly recommend.

Complementary laundry is common in Far East hotels and would have been appreciated. Laundry charges were high, at international rates.

The breakfast was first class. The location could not be better.The pool area was a top feature. The bed was really bad and hard - so the staff changed the mattress AND added a topper pad. A great response.

The whole hotel has aged. Some may say it adds character, but it does show signs of wear and tear.

Our two-night stay at Sofitel in Siem Reap, Cambodia, was unforgettable. Located just moments from Angkor Wat, it provided the perfect base for exploring the wonders of the ancient temples. The accommodations were luxurious, the staff incredibly friendly and attentive, and the facilities top-notch. Highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional Cambodian retreat.

This is a hotel of significant historical interest in Siem Riep. Many artefacts of this history are displayed throughout the hotel. It has a distinctively colonial vibe with beautiful, well-maintained gardens. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. A special call out to the Concierge, Kamera, who went above and beyond with helpful tips and restaurant reservations. The onsite breakfast/dining is well serviced with Cambodian, Asian and Western options. The hotel is also very conveniently located to the famous Pub Street and local night markets as well as local shopping. Tuk-tuks are always available and can be organised by the hotel. Overall, a great experience!

We had great time at this amazing resort. A charming design that gives a feeling of vacation from every corner of the hotel. We stayed in an upgraded and luxurious room. The warm attitude from the hotel staff is simply wonderful. Treats galore. Actually for what we paid the room was neither large or very oppulent and had no balcony. The slightly over-attentiveness of room staff can be annoying - who REALLY wants afresh lotus bloom delivered at 8.15 qam followed by 4 bananas at 8.30 sm? Our reserved inner table was given to another guest and they failed to serve the correct food order - they apologised but it showed a lack of REAL care for us as guests of any great value to them.

Very colonial feel. The rooms are a bit dated and lack USB charging outlets and adequate overhead lighting. By and large it is a beautifully laid out property and the staff is very friendly and helpful. English is spoken throughout.
