Location, design, friendly staff. Rooftop pool area was a peaceful haven.

One evening the rooftop bar was shut for a private event, there was no notification for hotel guests.

The hotel is located on the fringe of the old town within walking & easy access to the beach, the main sights, the old town, many restaurants and the shops. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and a restaurant for lunch and evening meals. Great roof terrace with swimming pool and lovely views of the port and the town. My bedroom was clean and spacious with such things as dressing gown and slippers provided. The bed was large and comfy.

Renovations were taking place in the foyer which reduced the seating area, but this was not a big problem as the bar was available downstairs.

We liked the location, in the middle of everything. It is located in the historical center and it is very close to all important attractions.

The bathroom in room 301 needs to have all plumbing and sewage systems repaired. The water is leaking all over. The AC blows directly in your face when you stay in bed. The TV channels are mostly unavailable and very limited in options. The positioning of the TV set on the wall in front of the bed is very unstable and not aligned vertically and horizontally.

I arrived slightly earlier than I had expected but the reception staff were helpful and said a room was ready so I could check in rather than having to wait. This was appreciated. The room I had was much better than I had expected as it was overlooking the main street and had a small balcony. The rooms overlooking the internal courtyard looked a bit dark from what I could see, so I would suggest trying to get a room in the older part of the hotel and if possible overlooking the street at the front. The main benefit of the hotel is its location as its right in the older part of the city and only a few minutes walk form all the main things to see with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The location can't really have been any better. I didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on that or use the bar.

There was some building work going on in the reception area when I visited although this didn't cause me any issues.

Great location, 15-20 min walk from the railway station. We the last couple of days of our time in Spain here it's a great place to base yourself to look around the town. It was a refreshing change to have a real key to leave at reception. Room was clean and room service excellent. First place I've stayed who charge for additional coffee capsules for the room at €1 each(!), despite my love of coffee stuck to the powdered version :) Breakfast was great with a good range of hot and cold & some local specialities served (it was Holy Week so some sweet treats I wasn't going to turn down!). Felt we were looked after well, especially by the helpful reception team.

A perfectly situated hotel for all age groups especially the elderly. All staff were attentive and caring. I requested a Quiet room and got precisely that though I think other rooms on the main street would be much noisier.

For my part I cannot fault them.

the location of this hotel is right in the centre of Malaga making a lot of the attractions very walkable.

We had a deluxe bedroom which was very large but there is no drawer space. Just wardrobes with some shelves so a chest of drawers under the desk would be a great help.

The bed, sheets and pillows were amazing. Liked having a settee. Great location central to everything. Rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff were always cheerful and friendly.

Bathroom items could have been replaced each day. Pencil in rooms was useless. Insufficient hangers - fortunately brought my own skirt hangers. Despite good glazing was badly disturbed on a few nights. We were not told what we could have at breakfast and only discovered it later. There were no separate servers for the chees and meat despite speaking to staff. Could have been a greater choice of cheese and a little more for vegetarians.

The hotel is lovely and staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's a fantastic location, right beside the cathedral, with lots of bars, restaurants and shops close by. Everywhere I wanted to visit was within a short walk including museums, Alcazaba, the Roman theatre, and the port area. The views from the rooftop pool and bar are stunning and it's a great spot for an afternoon drink and a snack. The room was spacious and very clean and modern.

The air conditioning was a little noisy and found I needed to turn it off at night as it was waking me when it came on automatically. Instead of a double bed it was two single beds pushed together. As I was travelling alone it didn't bother me too much but would have preferred to have a double bed.

Location was very central, great spot to explore from. Rooms very clean , well equipped and comfortable. The restaurant evening meal was the biggest surprise of the holiday , we ate here on the last night having dined out every other evening , food was amazing quality and service exceptional (Javier) !! Will definitely return to this hotel .

Lifts were slow , and if a party was on the sixth floor outdoor area it could be noisy for those rooms, but all in all was a fantastic stay
