I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Rous! This charming hotel exceeded all my expectations. It's located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore the historic center, yet the atmosphere is surprisingly quiet and peaceful – perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the comfort of the beds. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and professional, always ready to help with a warm smile. The breakfast was another highlight – fresh, varied, and delicious, served in a beautiful setting. Hotel Rous combines central convenience with quiet charm, excellent service, and comfort. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, and I will definitely return on my next trip to the Czech Republic.

I had a great stay at Hotel Rous in Plzen! The staff was amazing, accommodating our late evening check-in without any issues. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, which was a nice start to the day. Plus, the location is perfect — right in the city center, making everything easily accessible. Highly recommend!

The only downside was the road reconstruction in front of the hotel, which made access a bit tricky, and having to call a number each time to enter through the main gate was slightly inconvenient. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

Great location, lovely owner and amazing breakfast. We really enjoied this hotel as a base for discovering Plzen city centre and its many attractions during Blik Blik Light Festival. The choice for accommodation was spot on, as hotel is perfectly located. Room was big and well ventilated, clean and had everything we could ask for. Breakfast was really good in value. On the opposite side of the street there is a new coffee place serving really amazing coffee and cakes. Try it.

In Reception, nobodys working but the boss. If some proffessionals work by shift order, it could be better.

Lovely big room in historic building and very central location. The manager was so kind and helpful with a big smile and nothing was a problem. He was one of the nicest hosts we have met on our journey. Great breakfast and setting. Highly recommend.

No air con but they do have a fan. No actual shower but a hand shower if you sit in the bath.

The owner Jan is friendly and very, very helpful. Think of a cross between genuine helpfulness and Basil Fawlty helpfulness. A very interesting entry system as the reception desk is not always manned. Our room was a great size, comfortable on the whole. The bed was large enough and was very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed. A well stocked mini-bar if you wish a bedroom tipple or to store your own bits and bobs. There is a lift. It's a lovely building and the wall on the terrace is part of the old city walls. Breakfast is fine, especially the ripe watermelon. Eggs can be cooked to order too. The five-minute eggs on the buffet are excellent. You can fill your boots.

The only thing was the TV. I just wish hoteliers would sort out which channels they recrive/subscribe.

Lovely historic hotel in the centre of Plzen. Very kind, friendly and helpful staff and the rooms were large, comfortable and full of character.The breakfast choices were extensive and the location couldn't be bettered, just around the corner from the very heart of the city.15 minute walk from the station or less than 5 on very frequent tram service.

The hotel is located in the very city centre, very comfortable and in a safe location, and the room was looking over a nice and quiet garden. unfortunately there were works in the street, so it was not very easy to walk and reach the entrance. The room was clean and bright, the breakfast was amazing and rich and the staff was really helpful and kind. above all a really good choice, I would recommend it

Lovely staff who went the extra mile. The hotel is a beautiful old building situated just off the main square. The breakfast was exceptional with a good range of fruits and cooked eggs to order.

Just small things. The shower was quite hard to operate as the head holder was down at the bath level. The front door system to the hotel was also not the easiest to use as you needed to call a phone number for it to automatically open.

Very charming old style luxury hotel.

They should have let us know that the street in front of the hotel was under construction. We had to walk on a crude path for half a block to reach the entrance.
