The location of the hotel is good, not in the center but you can easily reach everywhere by public transportatio . The hotel is beautifully designed with a chocolate concept and it attracts the eye and creates a nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly and supportive, the rooms are good and the beds are comfortable. The pool and the natural grass on the roof are amazing especially for the evening. The highlight is the breakfast, which is an exhibition rich in the goodness of sweet food, chocolate and cakes generously alongside salty food. Caution!! it is very attractive and fattening😉

Need a solution for ants in the roof. This is natural because of the grass and trees but it can definitely be treated.

Such a fun hotel to stay in. We just did one night. After arrival, we parked our car at the Perugia stadium parking and went into the town. The front desk helped us to know where to park which was nice. You get chocolate upon check-in at the hotel. The rooms are basic but cute. Breakfast was amazing, awesome, overwhelming. So much to choose from, one can't possibly taste everything. Chocolate, sweets, pastries, fresh juices, also some savory things like rolls, eggs, cheese. Our 13 year old son really enjoyed staying here.

Is a unique opportunity to meet an icon, a chic-chocolate based environment, close to everything you may need, with a pool, a cocoa-based restaurant (yep, all entries are cocoa based, delicious) and the BEST, literally, THE BEST breakfast experience you can get in the heart of the chocolate’s kingdom, Perugia.

I hope there will be a plan to invest in modern mattress technology in the future. Now are comfortable, that would be the next generation of hospitality.

The hotel is not very far from Perugia city centre, on the outskirts. The chocolate theme is everywhere you look, outside and inside. At the entrance there is a spacious lobby with showcases displaying all sorts of chocolate delicacies. The reception desk is on the right and the restaurant further inside. Staff at the Reception desk were very helpful, welcoming and polite. The room we were given was very comfortable and clean. With complimentary tea/coffee facilities, a small fridge, comfy bed and well supplied bathroom with bathtub/shower. Dinner and supper are available at the restaurant (Ground Floor - Ristorante Buone Nuove) with some very tasty meals available (risotto, cold cuts). The service was excellent too. Breakfast is an event, an enormous choice of sweets, especially chocolate flavored, with any sweet delicacy you can imagine. Not to mention the excellent continental/Italian style breakfast buffet. And the staff are extremely polite and helpful. An experience not to be missed. We most certainly recommend and aim to return. Nothing really, near a busy traffic route.

This is quite a unique hotel, and not just because of the fun chocolate theme. It is quite close to the pedestrianised tourist area (10 minute bus ride then an interesting escalator/lift combo) and it has a swimming pool and small garden on the roof. None of the very central hotels has a similar roof pool as far as I am aware. The room was ok but not great. The breakfast was outstanding - and we stayed at a lot of hotels on a cycling touring holiday.

It’s a nice chocolate themed hotel! It’s a modest stay but very clean and the best staff, friendly and supportive! They helped us with every question that we’ve had. If you are a sweet tooth you will love the breakfast 😍 composed 95% of chocolate 🍫. We personally loved the location because it isn’t in the center, this allowed us to see other parts of the city on foot or with public transportation. By the way the bus station is right in front of the hotel and train station is a 10 min walk.

We would’ve like more variety for the food at breakfast, not just sweets, but is a chocohotel so we cannot complain😋

We are delighted with our stay, the first impression is already great. Delicious and wonderful breakfast, well-kept hotel, clean and nice rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. You can leave your luggage before check-in. Good location, close to the mini metro. I hope to visit again someday.

Breakfast as abundant as everyone says (maybe even a bit more so because it was Christmas), though we couldn't eat that much as everything was so sweet. The shop downstairs give you the same price com as shops downtown, plus they give you 10% as staying guests.

The bed was kinda hard, and the first day we were there the heater was off and turning it on didn't do anything. Apparently it was turned off from the main switch. Had to call the front desk 2x to resolve this.

Great location for visiting Umbria Jazz Festival and included a shuttle bus. Nice to have access to a swimming pool. Bar was 24/7. Can’t miss the chocolate theme.

Dated furniture and facilities. Coffee machine in room didn’t work. Breakfast was fun but not good quality food and not enough healthy options (but who visits a chocolate themed hotel for fruit!?)

The breakfast really had an amazing number of choices. The hotel's chocolate shop offers the same prices as the shop downtown, and they also give 10% discount to the guests. Staff were nice.

The hotel and room were kinda dated, but I knew that already. Breakfast was great but some of the food could be of better quality. Several breakfast room staff asked for room number even though we were already asked at the entrance.
