The location is just 20mtrs away from the elevator to the city centre, escalators and the mini metro to go to the train station. The room was always clean and comfortable.

If you are aiming to book the balcony room, maje sure you are ready for 60 steps (which we did not mind), and a shower and toilet that are very uncomfortable (something you get to know when at the hotel). But the view from the balcony especially at dawn is all the worth.

Location was outstanding and made our stay in Perugia so easy and convenient.

Fair amount of noise from the hallway as people came and went and from other rooms, but it was always quiet after 11 or so. People smoked in their rooms (which is illegal in Italy) often with the cigarette hanging out the windows and since the windows and small balcony are very close, it was unpleasant and hard to get away from the smell. No elevator, so getting luggage up and down stairs was a challenge for me.

Very helpful staff. Great location. Fabulous bathroom (room 41) that had been obviously renovated and had a new shower system installed. Not all rooms have this.

Someone had been smoking in the room and it was uninhabitable with the stench. Staff were very helpful and provided clean linen and then when available next day moved us to another room.

Was very central yet quiet & out of the mayhem of the main piazza and Corso during Jazz Fest. Everything worked smoothly and well. Clean and very comfortable. Air conditioner was excellent which important in such hot weather.

I really liked the location in the historical center and near the mini metro. Quiet, calm. The room is very clean and warm, which was important, since I was traveling in early April and it was still cold at night.

Amazing location, characteristic rooms and great staff. I loved my stay at this hotel. It allows you to reach easily any place in Perugia as it’s very close to Pincetto escalators and Minimetrò. If you are looking for a room with a lovely old style atmosphere, you won’t get disappointed. And as already said, great staff: helpful, welcoming and friendly.

Sometimes noisy, but unfortunately this depends on other customers who don’t get exactly where they are.

The position was perfect, we had great tips on check in and thoroughly enjoyed everything that was recommended We were able to leave our bags to further enjoy the city the following day

The location is amazing and accessible to the main piazza’s in Perugia. The staff are very friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat, shops etc. we even got given a little Perugia souvenir from the staff. The beds are really spacious and comfortable and extra pillows are provided if you need. I am really fussy when it comes to comfortable beds and I had the best nights sleep. The rooms are dated however they are very clean. I think value for money and what you get is incredible.

I would 100% recommend Hotel S. Ercolano when you visit Perugia. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean and the location amazing, you can go everywhere by foot. I was completely satisfied with my stay, would definitely stay at Hotel S. Ercolano again!!!

The hotel was perfectly located, close to the center but quiet at night. Room was cleaning every day. The staff is very nice, they managed to arrange check-in for us already at 10:00, thank you very much for that. We received a small present for parting. I can recommend.

The shower screen did not close, so the bathroom was wet after the shower.
