I had a wonderful experience at this charming little hotel. It's perfectly located in the historical city centre, which made exploring the area really easy and enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I had a small single room—compact but with everything I needed. It was clean, comfortable, and ideal for a solo traveler. Breakfast was classic Italian: a croissant, bread with marmalade and butter, coffee, juice, and best of all, a great morning chat with the host, which made the experience feel personal and homely. All in all, a great place to stay if you're looking for something authentic and cozy. Highly recommend!

Next time, I might treat myself to a double room for a bit more space.

Very nice traditional hotel set in a quiet side street in the old part of town. Perfectly located 5 minutes from the main piazza. Was extremely grateful for the parking space saved by Micheal at the front of the hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet and contained all that was required for an overnight stay. A family run hotel all of whom were charming, happy to help where possible and gave excellent recommendations for places to eat (Thank you Michael). The breakfast was pleasant and I would particularly recommend the cherry yogurt if in season at the time of your visit......amazing !!

Location was amazing, a short walk to everything we wanted to see and do, and all the restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the property is charming (we are particularly fond of charm) and absolutely clean. But best of all is Michele, our host, who is warm and kind and knowledgable about everything you might want. He speaks flawless, near native English, so there is never a misunderstanding. I just can't say enough good about him. He takes Hotel Morlacchi from a very pleasant, convenient place to stay to an outstanding place to stay.

I have been to Perugia many times, and stayed in many hotels. Hotel Morlacchi was a unique experience. It is a historic hotel in a great location but the best thing about it is the charming and unforgettable father + son duo that run it. They personally care for their guests and make them feel at home (above and beyond expectations). I will be recommending it to all of my friends and colleagues in the future, saying that they should book early because they'll be lucky to stay here.

Michele, and his mother and father, were very hospitable and friendly. My suitcase broke right before I arrived and they were so helpful to me, way more than I could expect a hotel to be. They would not take any money from me. Just really and truly helpful, kind people. I wanted a huge coffee for breakfast, American-style (Bigger is better, eh?) and they put it in a beer glass for me! Ha. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in a safe, clean hotel in Perugia! Grazie mille!

Charming, simple, traditional family hotel, with friendly and excellent service and assistance beyond the call of duty. Everything well-maintained even if a little old, comfortable beds, good towels, reliable wi-fi and pleasant breakfast. Excellent location.

Many stairs and no lift, which we were no warned about. But help with luggage volunteered when needed. Electric sockets and charging points in room perhaps rather few and awkwardly placed.

This is an amazing hotel, right in the centre of the Old City, just 4 mins walk from the Main Street. The location couldn’t be more perfect.During my short stay, I was welcomed, and greeted by many members of the family, who are all warm, friendly, hospitable, kind, helpful and generous. I would say 5* hospitality in a genuine family hotel. I could go on……The bed was super comfortable and my room was lovely and quiet and had everything that I needed. Breakfast was good, a typical Italian breakfast. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends and hope to stay again in the future. This hotel stands out because of the family that runs it. Thanks , Michele and everyone for a lovely stay.

A great, quaint, centrally-located hotel with a family-run flavor. Climatic old building just a few minutes walk from anywhere you want to be in Perugia. Staff very friendly yet absolutely appropriate and professional in behavior. Italian-style breakfast served by smiling, friendly people, makes your day. Great coffee, and extra points for serving vegan cappuccinos! Everything clean, including small yet fully equipped bathrooms.

Shower a bit tiny for larger people.

The location was ideal for a stay in Perugia. Very central but quiet. My room was very comfortable and clean. The ambience was warm and I enjoyed the artwork, the delicious breakfast and cappuccinos, and the warm welcome and assistance from the family. Michele talked me into going to Assisi (no regrets), gave me other recommendations and was a delight to converse with!

- kind, friendly and helpful staff, with very good English, provided us with all the information we needed (they didn't just give us information, they even offered us an umbrella when it rained) - very good cleanliness in the room - good breakfast, according to Italian standards - excellent location, very close to the center and at an acceptable distance from the minimetro and the bus to the airport (10-15 min.)

- quite a few steps to our room (the lucky ones can stay on the lower floors) - they were not a problem for us We have to be fair: the hotel is very good for 2 stars, we don't have to compare it with a 4 star hotel - we knew where we were going to stay and we were satisfied.
