A lovely older style hotel in a tree lined road, with stunning views of Perugia from the room. Very comfortable beds and good quality linen. TV and air conditioning good and toiletries and bathroom was small but very clean. Breakfast room was set out well for self service with coffee machine, juice bar and selection of fruit, cheese, ham, bread and cakes etc, all very good quality. The owner and Violet were very helpful and friendly. Perugia is a very hilly city, and across the road from the hotel you can walk to the escalator that goes up (and up) to the old town where you walk along the lanes to the centre square and the galleries. Due to its location Hotel Europa is very quiet at night and little to no traffic noise.

Nothing really, Hotel Europa was exactly what we expected for the price!

We enjoyed our 1-night stay at Hotel Europa while visiting Perugia. The staff were all very nice, and they let us park at the hotel early, before check-in, so we could visit the city. The building is historic, so take that into consideration as renovations could be helpful but may be very difficult for the hotel to do (due to bureaucracy). The room was decent, with high ceilings and a great view, but it was a bit drafty, especially with a windy night. The bed was comfy as well, and good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was nice, with lots of options from breads/pastries, to yogurt, to homemade cakes. We also appreciated that the hotel is dog-friendly, and in a great location--right across from a bus stop and several sets of stairs to various areas in the amazing city of Perugia.

The pillows were, for us, terrible, but everyone has different likes with regard to pillows. Also, you could definitely hear the other guests sometimes. As noted, although it is a period property, it needed some refurbishment in places, and there was a lack of outlets in the room (but that is, again, understandable considering the age of the property).

As we planned to use Perugia as our base, we wanted to be close to the city center, but also be able to easily leave the city by car to visit other locations. Thus, the Hotel Europa was perfect for our needs. The view from our room was excellent, the room was fairly comfortable and breakfast was decent. The hotel also provides affordable parking on site.

The hotel is on the older side and could use some modernization. The toilet in our room was built too close to the sink leaving very little leg room for tall individuals.

Perfect location for staying in Perugia. 2 minutes walk to escalator that takes you to the old town - or to mini-metro station in other direction. Mini-metro takes you to the railway station in 5 minutes (15 mins from hotel room to the platform).. Good breakfast and very nice and helpful personel. If I ever come back to Perugia, I will definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect! right beside the city center, and there is a "Scale mobile" to arrive there in 2-3 minutes, so its super confortable. Also the view of my room was absurdly amazing. I could watch a stunning sunset from my room. The breakfast is also amazing, and the bathroom and bed were super comfy.

The ambiance of the hotel, coupled with the panoramic view over the green, rolling hills of Umbria made for a special stay. The breakfast was very generous and the hosts helpful and friendly. Perugia is a remarkable city, Hotel Europa an excellent location to enjoy it from!

Breakfast was exceptional with very helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable, with a balcony and an exceptional view of the valley below and mountains beyond. We asked the hotel to book us a taxi when leaving, and when it was late the owner drove us to the station in his car. We are very grateful.

Well located, some character, fairly large room with balcony overlooking the hills- nice and quiet.

Breakfast could be more healthy (just white bread, sugary yoghurt, cake)

Distance to the historic town centre and the picturesque views of the room, and the staff were very friendly
