It’s is very close to harmandir sahib

When was going to checkout, they said they will check the room, I was called to the desk and only be told the tv remote control is cracked, and that I have to pay, I didn’t even watch tv as we spent majority of the time at harmandir sahib. I always stop at the Ramada on my visit to amristar. If I did cause a crack in the remote control, I would have been honest and told the staff. I was disappointed with this little matter. In future when I stay I will be taking a pictures of room and all items, so will not be accused of this situation. It had left me very upset.

The staff were extremely helpful. The options for breakfast were endless. The restaurant facilities and food were excellent. The housekeeping staff were polite and very thorough.

The Ramada has great trust in its visitors. My only issue was on one separate occasion one guest allowed their young child to select food. Then the child handled the doughnut with his hands rather than using the tongs and put it back into the basket. Then the second incident another child was squeezing the melon pieces with his hands and then left without taking it. I feel this needs to be addressed, unfortunately, I was not able to inform the staff.

My recent stay at Ramada Amritsar was truly a pleasant experience. I stayed for three nights from the 21st to the 24th of July, and I must say the hospitality and service provided by the entire team were exceptional. The front desk and housekeeping staff were consistently courteous, attentive, and professional. I would especially like to extend my sincere appreciation to Mr. Raman, Mr. Shalam, and Mr. Abhishek at the front desk for their warm welcome and excellent assistance throughout my stay. Additionally, I must mention the young lady stationed near the bell desk—although I regret not asking her name, her kindness and helpful attitude truly stood out and made a positive impression on me. Thank you to the entire Ramada team for making my stay so comfortable and memorable. I look forward to returning in the future and would gladly recommend this property to anyone visiting Amritsar, especially for its proximity to the Golden Temple and the outstanding service

The Architecture and design as well as the decoration have a classical, cosy atmosphere. We stayed in a quiet room (128) in the middle of the wing, what we indeed enjoyed, for we value quietness and tranquility over view or others. Clean and tidy room. After one month traveling in India, staying from Home-stays to five stars hotels in Delhi, we definitely liked the convenience of the Ramada hotel (close to everything and surrounded by shops and restaurants) and its service: receptionists and other staff are professional and always prompt to help. The food: we tried there the best chicken biryani in India, for dinner. And the breakfast is much more better than many European hotels of this class. We enjoyed the food.

I like the overall stay, and my need for a late checkout, staff accommodated. Happy and thankful about it.

I am very sensitive to drinking water. At the time of check-in staff mentioned 2 bottles of water per day is complimentary. The next day was my checkout, so on the day of checkout I asked for water. They said it is chargeable. I was like, how you expect a person to survive on 1 litre water per day and i am asking water the next day, i deserve my 1 litre of bottled water as the date is changed. Then they agreed to give water. I mean why struggle for such basic human need, water.

I was a lone female traveler and the staff here made me feel very comfortable and safe. Most importantly they looked after me when I fell sick having to cancel onwards plans . I enjoyed my stay in Amritsar, breakfast was lovely in particular South India idly and samber . The choice is great ! Lovely tea and coffee . The staff are very helpful and polite . For someone travelling from the West this is a clean hotel , no funny drainage smells in my room , air conditioned. Hot water all the little luxuries we enjoy. This is a great location for the Golden Temple.

There’s not much to not like about this property- location is great . Perhaps a little outdated in design features but it wouldn’t deter me from staying here again . Also probably doesn’t need carpets in the rooms .

Location is perfect as it is walking distance from the temple and other important areas. It is very clean and efficiently run property. The rooms are adequate in size with comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms. The room service, housekeeping and breakfast are of good standard. The guard at the entrance to the main lobby greets you with the widest of smiles every time you come into the hotel. The cafe at the lobby level serves good tea/ coffee and snacks.

I wish some of the other customer facing employees are more relaxed and smile instead of giving blank stares. The guests here are not routine business travellers, but family and old people who come from far flung places to visit the temple city, and it would be very welcoming and reassuring gesture. I guess a little training would solve this issue.

The hotel was well located in the center of Amritsar and Close to the main attractions there, mainly the Golden temple, Jallianwala Bagh and the partition museum. also within walking distance. The hotel is well decorated and maintained well. We stayed here for two nights. I had requested for an early check in and we could check in by 1 pm. The property is vintage style, however well maintained. It was still undergoing a refurbishment. All the staff from the personal in the front desk, the room boys and the others were very friendly and helpful

The room size could have been slightly bigger for more comfort

Stayed here as hotel initially booked was very poor and needed a quick fix as we refused to stay in our first choice (yes we were scammed but as we had not paid it cost us nothing!). However was a great swap as we both fell ill (flu or covid potentially) and it was a very comfortable hotel to be in when under the weather. Location was great as it was only a short walk to Amritsar main attractions. Food also good and not crazy expensive.

Went to rooftop cafe but pool out of commission and service was so allow we left. Otherwise all good.

Staff were gracious,kind and helpful . Food was good . Room were clean. Location was good

A mosquito was disturbing on the first night. Upon reporting ,the matter was immediately addressed. Towels were clean but not new. On 2 days hand towels were not provided due to the wet weather. Breakfast was nice except selected papaya piece on 2 days were spoil. Both lifts were spoiled during my final day . However action was taken promptly within 1 hour The above shortcomings were compensated by the excellent staff conduct throughout our stay
