Beautifully renovated Chateau, true to its former self. Lovely gardens and pool area, large bedroom and bathroom, comfortable beds. Bathroom well equipped and had very hot water in the shower. Good rainy day activities too we sag in the lounge and played pool when the weather was not as good. Complementary drinks and snacks and a lovely turndown service made it very comfortable
The bistro menu could have been a bit bigger, we don’t eat seafood or red meat and the menu here was not great for us. The process of ordering breakfast each day was a bit tricky, would have preferred a buffet or the cold items at least.

Lovely experience! We took a nice walk around the grounds, which are modest but nice. The pool looked nice but the weather wasn't warm enough to swim yet. The castle itself is very beautiful, and the interiors have lovingly been restored. There were lots of little snacks in the room which was appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There wasn't much to do, luckily we got the breakfast otherwise it would feel a little "not enough". If you want a quiet place to relax then it's fine.
The bar and restaurant were closed when we were there. Nobody was in the lounge, so it all felt quite abandoned. We sat in the lounge for a bit but there wasn't anything to do besides drink a tea and read. Maybe a chess board, some cards, some subtle background music, some complimentary regional wine or cognac would have been welcome. Also just to note: the ceramic floor of the shower is EXTREMELY slippery. We are young and nimble and managed, but I imagine older guests may find this a little dangerous. Perhaps a shower mat would solve this.

Everything! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous chateau and gardens. Welcome drink on arrival. Lovely large bedroom that included provisions for our dogs - beds, bowls, treats, poop bags! Lovely bathroom with roll-top bath and comforts - slippers, robe, toiletries etc. Secure garden in which to walk the dogs. Lovely quiet location (apart from the Christmas party down from our room! But we were very tired so managed to sleep through the celebrations). Gorgeous local restaurant within easy walking distance. Lovely breakfast. Secure on-site parking. Chickens and pig in the far garden.
Having to leave.

Excellent property, and brilliantly managed by Phillipe & his partner. Very accommodative and can help you plan out your day trips. I picked a couple of stems of rosemary from the garden & put them in a coffee pot; someone in the house staff must've noticed, because they picked and much bigger cluster and put it in a beautiful small vase. Nice touch!

My stay at Chateau de Collias was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere that made us feel like royalty. Location: The chateau is perfectly situated in the picturesque village of Collias, surrounded by the beautifully curated gardens and territory of the chateau, including a vegetable garden, and a few chickens, pig and rabbit. The view from atop their hilltop is breathtaking. Accommodation: Our room was a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The elegant decor, comfortable bed, and very spacious bathroom made for a very relaxing stay. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail. The chateau itself is wonderfully and personally decorated by the hosts, with wonderful mixtures of french baroque with African art (from their travels), and other things in between. Our hosts were the most lovely people, and made us feel like they were passionate about us having an incredible stay, which we did. Additionally, their Michelin-star restaurant has excellent value for money, and wonderful wine pairings with lovely food. I so strongly recommend this place with all my heart, and will return as soon as I can! Thank you!
Nothing, it was truly a perfect stay.

It can't get more classic French chateau hotel experience with attention to detail than this. It is a gated hotel with expansive gardens inside rustic commune of Collias. Extremely photogenic exterior and interior with vintage furniture. Attentive reception staff who couldn't wait to show off the hotel like you were the royalty. Spacious bedroom with luxuriously spacious bathroom with all amenities supplied. Parking safely inside fenced property with charging facility for our electric car. Michelin starred French cuisine terraced dinner with view to garden to complete the ultimate chateau experience.
Wifi connection absent most of the time during my stay, I relied on my SIM roaming instead. It would have been nice if there was a buffet breakfast rather than staff bringing over small amount of random stuff to your table.

A beautiful and magical hotel, it breathes history that can be seen at every step, beautiful old decorations, friendly receptionists, unique cuisine, comfortable beds, comfortable room.
The dinner experience was not as great as last year. The ordered and confirmed dinner was for 7 PM and we had to wait until 8:10 PM. The cutlery was not always changed between meals. They left us the used ones.

It’s a charming idyllic hotel that you don’t find anymore. From the greeting (with homemade lemonade) to being accompanied to the room, each aspect of the first day felt like being in a book. The room was beautiful and clean with an amazing view. The first dinner there was such a dream, with little treats surprising us at all times. We needed to add another night and we did.

Spacious, spotless rooms with excellent air conditioning — a lifesaver when it’s 35°C outside. The restaurant is delicious, and the staff is polite and attentive. The hotel is pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us, and there’s a secure private parking area. Everything was absolutely perfect!

It was a wonderful stay..from the moment I arrived until I left! Everything was perfect! Beautiful property, amazing view, beautiful room, 5 star service, interesting conversation with an owner. Lovely little details that I don’t want to describe, because it’s better to experience. I had dinner and breakfast, it was delicious. Pool was amazing, and service by the pool fantastic as well. Can’t wait to go there again!
