Very convenient location for those intending to visit Cape Breton and Cabot Trail. The owner/manager was super friendly and very accommodating to some special requests we had and also always available when we had a question. I saw some not very positive reviews on google which scared us before arrival, but honestly those reviews did not reflect our experience at all. Of course if you expect a 5 star experience from a three star motel, then of course you would be deceived. But for a three star motel and the price, it was just the perfect value for money.

The property was quite scenic and had a lovely view with gorgeous water surrounding, the room was a good size and fairly cozy, the entire stay was very quiet, making for really nice weekend relaxation or such.

Upon arrival there was nobody working in the office, luckily the maintenance man was around and informed me that I should call the owner, I did get in contact and access to my room soon after, not a huge deal but a minor annoyance. There was no hand soap in the washroom which again isn't a huge deal.

I actually booked this motel by mistake. Although the cancellation policy said no refunds, DHRUV (the manager) was very understanding and helpful in resolving this mishap to my satisfaction. He even called me later to confirm with me that the refund was being processed. I did not stay in the motel as it was booked in error. Overall, Dhruv displayed very good customer service and care. Customer service is everything nowadays and says a lot about the organization. Thank you Dhruv for your attention

Flexibility of propietor in meeting my changing needs.

The only problem was an old refrigerator which was very iced up, a very minor issue.

It is in a close location to where I wanted to tour. No steps and car is outside my room. Good for seniors.

No room cleanup for a two night stay. No light outside or a marquee to help locate the motel at night.

It did what it needed to do…..ticked the boxes for a basic accommodation for an overnight stay. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The bed was comfy and the linen clean. No grumbles from me 👍

It is clean and suited our purposes perfectly. It is not fancy, but is absolutely excellent value. It is priced appropriately. We really appreciated the outdoor chairs and picnic tables.

It is a beautiful location on the Bras D’Or Lakes. It was a convenient location as it was just off the Trans Canada Highway. Staff were very friendly and the rooms etc were clean.

I would have given an Excellent rated except for the musty smell in the room. I believe the carpets need to be cleaned or changed?? Overall we had a great experience
